"Glasses?" Darius turned to the entrance, he saw Raya standing there with a 200 cm katana on her back. She adjusted her glasses as she walked in. Her gear was an elegant black samurai-type outfit that elegantly suited her body; the determined look on her face made her even more beautiful than most.

She walked up to the warriors, she bowed her head to greet them. "It is an honor to meet all of you here."

She looked up to see Darius, who had a smile on his face on seeing her. "It is good to see you again, Darius."

Our young warrior smiled, and he nodded. "It is nice to see you, too."

"This is Raya Tegeshi, SS-ranked Warrior, Code Name: Blue Flame Princess, and if I can see it properly, something tells me both of you already know each other." Keith was looking at Darius and Raya, he was a bit surprised to see that Darius knew someone.

"Yeah, her father is my blacksmith." Darius smiled as he scratched his head. He had forgotten about Nathan and his ghouls; it was not going to be a problem for him.

"Oi, you know Hanzo Tegeshi?" Theo pulled Darius’s arm, he was surprised to learn that Darius knew Hanzo.

"Yeah, he is the one who made my first swords, and he is also the one who made my gauntlets." Darius turned to Theo, he was not sure what was going on.

"So that’s only what you know about him? No other thing?" Theo was looking at his partner closely.

"No, not really." Our white haired warrior said, scratching his head, a bit confused.

Theo let out a sigh. He knew Darius was usually hopeless when it came to things like this, and he was never the type of person to even know what was going on in the warrior world.

"Of course, you know nothing else, I should have remembered who I was dealing with." Theo turned back to Keith and Liu, who were staring at them. "Who is the second solo warrior?"

Liu turned to his file, he pulled something out. "Michael Krigg the third, SS-ranked Healer, but he is a great combatant. A powerful one at that,"

Liu paused when they all felt a sharp but powerful aura cover the room, it was so piercing that it made almost everyone except Darius go down. They turned to see a man standing by the entrance, he stood over 6.5 feet tall, his golden blonde hair tied in a ponytail, touching his shoulder.

"Huh, that man is a healer?" Theo was looking at the man who was walking towards them. "He feels more like a juggernaut."

"The pressure coming from him, are you sure he’s even human?" Raya turned to Liu.

Liu nodded his head, he turned to Raya. "He is human, but his aura is one of the fiercest we have felt amongst SS-ranks, a combined mission with the Iron Clad guild, it was revealed that he took down an S-ranked Howling Babbon with his bare hands, all while he was healing the injured at that time."

Theo was surprised, he could feel the powerful energy coming from the man. ’He might be strong, but I doubt he is as strong as he.’ He turned and looked at Darius, who was carefully rubbing his eyes.

Michael had reached them, he looked around like he was looking down on weaklings.

"Well, when are we heading for the dungeon, or are we going to stand here all day like princesses?" He blurted out, he was looking at Liu and Keith paying no attention to the two guilds in front of him.

’Such arrogance.’ Raya thought to herself, she turned to look at Darius. She noticed the look in his eyes. It was like he was bothered about something, but then the warrior had this warm presence, looking at him alone was enough to make anyone calm.

"Alright!" Keith moved forward, he brought out two arm bands. "Guild Captains step forward."

Theo and Nathan walked forward. Nathan had a nasty smirk on his face he slowly turned to Theo.

"Say, you and that measly F-ranked opened a guild?" He turned to look at Darius. "I must say, he got buffier, but then it doesn’t change the fact that he is still weak, Mr. Sung. Why don’t you put the past behind us?"

He leaned close to Theo, the smirk still on his face. "Now you are an S-ranked, your family must see your worth. Why don’t you join the Ghastly Ghouls?"

Theo had a nonchalant look on his face, and the hate he had for Nathan Cruz was certainly unmatched. But yet the man was trying to make him join his guild, the hate skyrocketed.

He let out a sigh, slowly turning his gaze to Nathan. "I want to let you know something, a million of you can never reach half the man Darius is. So before you try to make a deal like that with me, ask if I would want to work in a place where the only thing I can compare my boss to is a bag of waste."

Theo took the armband from Keith and slowly put it on. Nathan, still smiling, took the armband and put it on.

Keith cleared his throat. Both warriors were about to pull their hair in front of him, but he needed to be calm. Once he saw they had taken the armbands, he prepared to give them the orders.

"Now both mercenary guilds are going to head for an S-ranked dungeon located at the Eastern Side of the city, there you will meet the transponders who will join in the raid. They are there to observe and not help, your mission is to make sure that you take down the Dungeon boss and come out alive."

"In case you are thinking of fighting anyone, then you should know that the Transponders will tell us everything, and you would stand a chance of losing your guild licensing rights." He added, he turned to Liu, who would give them the final order.

"Now, Raya Tegeshi, who formerly requested to be paired with the Broken Blades Guild, will be assigned under their care. And Mr. Michael Krigg would be under the care of Nathan and his Ghastly Ghouls since he was the warrior who volunteered to be part of the raid." Liu was looking at them, he could still feel the animosity between the guilds.

"Tsk, I am under no one. I am strong enough to handle myself." Michael blurted out, he was looking at the warriors behind him, and he could tell that there was no one stronger than him. He then shifted his gaze to Darius, something was off.

Darius noticed someone was looking at him, and he turned and his eyes met with Michael’s. Immediately, the golden-haired warrior averted his gaze, and Darius, surprised, shrugged his shoulders.

Michael was sweating a bit. The moment Darius turned to look at him, he felt something he had never felt before. It was like all the nature documentaries he would see. When the big predator meets with a bigger, greater apex predator, the smaller one would cower in fear.

’What is that man?’ Michael thought to himself.

Keith came forward, a smile on his face. "Please, be safe and make sure nothing out of pocket transpires." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

It was the sign for both guilds to head for the dungeon. Theo still had his eyes on Nathan; he was not going to let his guard down. Even Darius was on high alert; he knew that Nathan was going to plot something diabolic, but this time wont be like the last time he managed to get a drop on him.

’Darius, remember this might turn out to be different, so be ready for anything.’ Azree chimed in, trying to remind Darius of what happens to any dungeon he sets foot in.

’This is an S-ranked, not an Uncharted, so don’t worry, we would be out of there in a jiffy, and nothing is going to happen. I am going to be fine,’ Our young warrior had a smile on his face.

’I wasn’t worried about you, I mean, the warriors you need to protect. And those things are unpredictable, so be ready for anything.’ Azree added, it was like he was not even worried about Darius knowing that he was capable of handling himself.

’Oh, that,’ Darius turned to look at Theo and Raya. He knew that Theo was strong, but then he didn’t know about Raya. Aside from the last time he spoke with her at Hanzo’s shop, this was the second time he was meeting her.

’I don’t think we should worry about them, they look like they would be able to handle themselves.’ He smiled.

’Hmm, if you say so. Remember, beings are looking for a way to kill you and take your powers, so don’t let your guard down.’ Azree added.

’I won’t!’ Darius was feeling ecstatic, for some reason, the raid felt like it would be something huge.
