Chapter 139: Trail Of Water Part 3- Blazing Slash, Cries From The Depth And A Miracle!

Darius was fast on his feet, trying to make sure that he wouldn’t get caught in Aya’s attacks. They were fast and dangerous and if they had the slightest hit on him then it wouldn’t even take time to put an end to him.

She kept sending the bullets for him, they were fast and few of them had managed to graze the young warrior but he was getting fast adapting to the bullets.

Aya was not in any way pleased that the mortal boy was outrunning her bullets and made it look like they were nothing to him.

"Stand still mortal!"

She roared sending tentacles for Darius, our young warrior didn’t run he stood still and turned drawing the red cobra blade he blocked the tentacles.

Clang!

He looked down, shocked that he was looking at a title that was as strong as steel.

"This monster isn’t playing fair!"

Darius took a step back, he was looking at the guardian and he knew that there was no way for him to step out of all this on top and she would even let him move.

Another thing Darius felt was a blast to the chest, from Aya. The impact from the attack sent Darius crashing into the walls there.

"Foolish human!" Aya mocked, swimming closer to the edge where Darius had landed. "this is where you die!"

Aya lifted her hand, forming a spear from the waters she was about to strike Darius. But from the spot Darius had landed, a dark crimson flame erupted.

"Ahhh!" Aya was hurt, so she took a step back trying to see what was going on there was nothing for her to see. Only Darius’ smiling face, he walked out of the rubble shaking it off like there was nothing going on.

"I don’t know who gave you the idea that you could win if you tried to kill me like that. If anything then you should know that I am not the type to play fair."

Darius had coated his arms and legs with crimson flame, the red cobra blade was covered in flames too.

’I would have sworn that you forgot about your fire powers, but I stand corrected...’

Azree quipped, It was the first time he noticed that Darius was thinking on his feet.

Darius cackled a bit; there was no way he would let him. "I know you think that there was no way I would waltz into the Trial of Water without thinking of a way to push back." 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Darius stood there, looking at the guardian. He had a smile on his face, the look on his face made him look sinister.

"You know what?" He pulled Ve’xa out holding it in his left hand. The red cobra blade on his right, looking at Aya. "Of all the beasts and monsters I had faced. You might just be the ugliest one of all..."

Darius used the flames on his feet like a rocket. He blasted off, heading for Aya at speeds that he hadn’t touched in his life.

Aya was trying her best to keep up with the speeds Darius was using to gain on her and it was something that no one would have expected.

"How can a mortal move at this speed?" She was looking around, and the next thing she felt was a fierce heat coming from behind her.

Darius used the red cobra blade to slash Aya, but a tentacle blocked his strike. He smiled seeing what the guardian could do, and he knew that it was not going to be an easy fight and he was going to be sweating through it all and there was not going to be a clear way for him to stop her.

’If I don’t think fast then I will be—’

He was interrupted by a tentacle slamming him into the pond, Aya was agitated and she knew that the human in front of her would be the end of her if she was not careful with what she was doing.

Seeing that Darius had been hit into the water, she submerged heading for our young warrior but Darius was fast even underwater. He swam to the edge of the pond, getting out he was looking at the guardian with a smile on his face.

"Oh, you fight dirty!" Darius took his stance looking at her, he didn’t waste time building up flames with the cobra blade.

Aya was still underwater, Darius was patient waiting for her to emerge so he would use the attack on her.

The moment Aya emerged, Darius used the cobra blade he had covered in flames sending a powerful wave covered in his flames.

"Diablo Slash!"

Darius yelled sending the attack for her, she didn’t even have the chance to dodge taking the slash head-on.

[Diablo Slash—Attack is made from the flames of chaos backed up by the telekinetic abilities of the host.]

He had landed a hit on Aya and it took a strain on him. Making powerful moves mid-battle was one thing, executing it was another.

’You started using your brain; this trial is going to be fun!’ Azree was praising Darius; it was not something that anyone would be able to do when faced with a problem that big.

Panting, Darius was looking at the beast in front of him, certain that the guardian was not yet done with him, and there was more horror coming.

"I have to be ready. I don’t know what that thing might be thinking but I know there are not going to be chances of me making it out alive from this."

Our young warrior took a step back, he was looking into the water and he knew something was going to come for him.

Before Darius was going to be able to take a step back, a tentacle came flying out of the water piercing his shoulder.

Our young warrior was in pain, trying to process the hit but then from nowhere and he was still in the middle of his thoughts another tentacle emerged coming at top speed.

"Argona Me Tol!"

Darius didn’t even let the tentacle get any closer, using a spell he phased out of the way on time before he was hit again.

[Regeneration abilities locked by 89%!]

[Until the guardian is slain you will not be able to use your healing abilities!]

Darius smiled standing straight, his eyes darting around like he was looking for something to use to his advantage.

"Give up mortal!" Aya roared, she came out of the water looking straight at Darius with fierce eyes.

"I will make sure that Lady Acier will not have a chance to see something as vile as you!"

She roared, activating the implosion of depths. Thousands of bullets were being fired at Darius, it was not what anyone would want to face or even fend off.

Darius managed to stand his ground using his flames to evade the attack and push them back with a faster speed.

"This isn’t going to be the end of me! I am not going to die here!"

Darius’ voice thundered across the dungeon, as flames covered his legs again. He blasted off but this time his speed was increased times four of what it was, he didn’t waste time to close in on them. His eyes locked on the beast in front of him, he was determined to end it there and then.

Aya saw what the young warrior was planning, knowing that there was no way she would cover herself from his blows braced for the attack.

"You will not hurt me mortal!"

Aya let out a shriek, a powerful one that pushed Darius back into the walls of the dungeon.

[Guardian used The Wails Of The Deep- A powerful roar that can break the shields of a hundred men]

Darius was covered in bruises, looking at the monster in front of him he knew that there was more coming and if he was not careful. It would be his end.

’She is not your ordinary creature, I hope you understand that much?’ Azree spoke up it was like Darius was forgetting the horror in front of him and how it was not going to take it easy on him.

Darius grunted, touching the wounds on his shoulder he couldn’t tell what was going to happen next. "I am losing a lot of blood here and there is no way for me to get this ugly bastard to get down a bit."

"At this rate, I need a miracle to help me get out of this one." He took a step back looking at the monster in front of him, ready for his next moves but then he was cautious.

Aya curled one of her tentacles, making it so sharp it was ready to pierce the hardest steel, sending it for Darius like a bullet. Our young warrior braced himself about to fend off the attack.

Suddenly from nowhere, a ray of gold, blue, and green blasted for the tentacle changing its trajectory.

Darius turned to see his friends standing on the other side of the pond. A smile formed on his face. "There’s my miracle."
