I'm Trapped Inside a Prince as the Most Powerful Entity-Chapter 215 - 210
Adam rested under a large tree. His eyes were open but his mind was far away. He was planning his next move. He did not know if he was even going in the right direction.
He had no map and no guide. He would only know if he was right or wrong when he reached his destination.
He was still lying there when he heard a noise. He sat up. His horse Alpha who had been standing guard nearby also heard it. They both looked up at the sky.
They saw a large group of flying horses. They were the same kind of Demon Horses Adam had just tamed. Adam was surprised to see them. Then he sensed something else. His eyes went wide. Are those people riding them? he thought.
He saw them clearly now. His new parents his uncle and the villagers were all riding on the backs of the Demon Horses. His sister Anastasia was at the very front.
Adam was shocked.
He could not believe that these villagers had also managed to tame these powerful beasts. He knew how difficult it had been for him.
Before he could even think the horses began to descend. Anastasia was the first to spot him. She saw the river and the large tree. She saw a single magnificent horse with a white coat and black stripes. And beside it she saw him. Adam.
A huge smile spread across her face. "There he is! Adam!" she yelled.
Ricky and Edward looked where she was pointing. They saw Adam and his strange new horse. The herd of Demon Horses landed one by one on the bank of the river.
Adam watched them all land. I should not have rested, he thought.
Ricky and the others dismounted. The horses knelt as they got off. Anastasia Ricky Edward and the other hunters all stared at Adam. They stared at Alpha. They were all amazed by the sight of the powerful beast.
Adam spoke first. His voice was cold and serious. "I never asked any of you to rescue me."
Ricky stepped forward. His face was stern. "Adam you are not old enough to make these decisions by yourself."
Adam thought for a moment. Should I just teleport them all back to the village? But before he could act Anastasia rushed forward. She threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly.
"I’m so sorry Adam," she said her voice filled with emotion. "It was all my fault. You suffered so much because of me."
Adam was surprised by her behavior. Has this girl’s mind changed? he wondered. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
She pulled away from him and looked into his eyes. "Will you give me another chance?" she asked. "I will try my best to change."
Adam opened his mouth to speak but Edward’s voice cut him off. "And don’t think you can use your strange abilities to escape from here. If you run we will follow you no matter how far you go."
Adam looked at all of them. He did not know what to do. If he left them here they would surely die. That was not his concern. He did not care if they lived or died. But he could not just leave the parents of his new body to die in this dangerous jungle. He could not allow that to happen. No matter how much he told himself he didn’t care he knew he could not abandon them.
He let out a long sigh. "Fine," he said. "I will go back with all of you."
"But only on one condition."
The words hung in the air a sudden unexpected challenge. The villagers looked at each other confused and uncertain. Anastasia and Edward exchanged hopeful glances a silent prayer passing between them.
But Ricky stepped forward his face a mask of stern authority. He was the chief. He would not be dictated to not even by his own son. "What kind of condition?"
Adam met his father’s gaze without flinching. His voice was calm but held an unshakable resolve. "One year from today I will leave this village and go far away."
Before anyone could speak Adam shattered their deepest assumptions. They all thought this was a childish tantrum a foolish attempt to prove himself as a hunter. They thought he had run off into the jungle to sulk. But his next words broke that comfortable illusion.
"I want to go beyond this jungle. I want to see what is out there."
A stunned silence fell over the group. The hunters Adam’s family they all stared at him as if he had spoken in a foreign tongue. The idea was madness. The jungle was their world. The wall was their shield.
Beyond it was only death. Ricky was at a complete loss for words. If Adam had not already made it this far into the hostile wilderness if he had not demonstrated such impossible power Ricky could have dismissed him. He could have told him it was a fool’s dream that it was impossible.
But Adam stood before him a boy who had traveled further into this hostile jungle than any of their ancestors. He had navigated a forest filled with impossibly powerful beasts beasts that Ricky himself would not dare to face alone.
And he had not just survived. He had tamed one of the most dangerous and legendary creatures in this forest. He had subjugated an entire herd of Demon Horses so completely that they now accepted his own family as their masters.
The evidence of his capability was all around them.
Anastasia and Edward looked at Ricky. They waited for his decision. The entire search party waited. The fate of their chief’s son rested on his next words. Ricky let out a long heavy sigh a sound filled with the weight of his responsibilities. He opened his eyes his decision made.
"Fine," he said his voice carrying the full authority of his position as chief.
"One year from today you can go wherever you want. But only on one condition of my own. You must prove to the entire village that you are capable of such a journey. Not just to me not just to your mother. You must prove it to everyone. You must earn their respect and their blessing."
A small almost imperceptible smile touched Adam’s lips. I don’t need a year for that, he thought a flicker of his true ancient self shining through. I can do that in a few days.
"Alright then," he said aloud a new lightness in his voice. "Let’s go back to the village."
He raised his hand and with a sharp clear snap of his fingers Alpha the magnificent white Demon Horse appeared beside him. It had materialized from thin air a loyal servant ready to carry its master home.
The villagers gasped at the sudden display of casual effortless power. They were beginning to understand that the boy who had left their village was not the same boy who now stood before them.
Alpha’s speed was incredible. One moment it was standing behind Adam the next it was right beside him. No one even saw it move.
Adam looked at the group of hunters.
"Give your horses names" he said. "It is a good idea. And remember do not try to ride another person’s horse. These horses are very dangerous. If anyone other than their partner tries to ride them they will be responsible for their own safety."
With that he swung himself onto Alpha’s back. The horse’s four magnificent wings spread wide. It leaped into the air. Adam looked back at the stunned group on the ground.
"I have heard that hunters are very powerful" he shouted. "Let’s see if you hunters have real power or if it is just a name."
He and Alpha shot forward a white streak against the sky. A smile touched Anastasia’s lips. Edward let out a loud whoop. "You have some nerve!" he yelled. He ran to his own horse and leaped onto its back.
"From now on your name is Emily! Let’s go Emily! Let’s show him what we’ve got!"
The horse let out a happy cry and shot into the sky. Anastasia ran to her own mount. The horse stood up as she approached. She leaped into the air and her horse moved beneath her catching her perfectly on its back.
"Your name is Gulam!" she shouted. Her horse too launched itself into the air.
One by one the hunters all joyfully took to the sky their initial fear replaced by a thrilling excitement. Soon only Ricky was left on the ground. His horse walked up to him and stood patiently. Ricky let out a long sigh. "So you need a name too" he said. He patted the horse’s neck. "I will call you Sanju."
Sanju seemed to like the name. But as Ricky was about to mount his gaze fell upon the charred remains of the giant crocodiles.
At first he did not recognize them. But then he saw their size and the nearby river. His eyes went wide. His mouth fell open in shock. He walked over to one of the carcasses. It was ten times his size.
He looked up at the sky where Adam had disappeared. "Was Adam always like this?" he whispered to himself. He shook his head in disbelief then ran and jumped onto Sanju’s back. The great horse launched him into the sky.
Back in the village Rachel stood outside her house. Many other women and villagers stood with her. They were all waiting anxiously. Most of the other villagers were working in the fields at the edge of the village. Suddenly one of the women pointed at the sky.
"What is that?" she asked.
Everyone looked up. They saw small black specks in the distance getting closer. An old man who had once been a hunter squinted at the sky. His face went pale. He knew what they were.
"Those are flying creatures!" he yelled. He knew that any creature that could fly in this dangerous jungle had to be incredibly powerful. Weaker flying beasts had been wiped out thousands of years ago. Only the strongest the most dominant could survive in these skies.
He recognized the shapes now. His voice was filled with terror. "Those are Demon Horses!" he screamed. A wave of pure panic washed over the crowd.
