My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively-Chapter 335: Summer Shawcross, Come Blow Out the Candles!
After leaving the restaurant, Summer Shawcross went straight to the second floor, only to discover that there was a large bedroom hidden there.
The bedroom had a large floor-to-ceiling window, which happened to offer a view of the entire wetland. At this moment, fireflies were actively fluttering around, twinkling as if they were part of a starry river, even more beautiful than a fairy tale world.
Summer stood in front of the window, lost in enjoyment for a moment, before turning around contentedly and heading to the bathroom.
...
Half an hour later.
Having just finished her bath and dried her long hair, Summer emerged from the bathroom dressed in a prepared silk robe, only to find the bedroom completely dark.
She was startled, thinking that she had clearly turned on the wall light in the bedroom before she went to take a bath.
But now...
Just as she stood dumbfounded at the bathroom door, a soft sound suddenly echoed in the bedroom.

It was the sound of a lighter, a flash of firelight illuminated the bedroom.
Summer was stunned. Following the faint light, she saw the tall figure of a man, sitting on the floor, head lowered, holding the lighter and lighting candles.
The warm glow of the firelight on his face made him look less sharp and added a bit of an inexplicable tenderness...
Soon, the candles were lit. Noah Drexler put down the lighter, then turned his head to glance at the woman still standing at the bathroom door, cleared his throat, and softly commanded her.
"Summer Shawcross, come blow out the candles."
His voice shifted her gaze from his face to the small dish on the floor with candles, something resembling a cake, and she couldn’t hide her surprise.
She quickly moved her legs and walked toward him, sitting down on the floor before him. Looking down at the ’tiny cake’ on the plate, she realized it was made from a few fried eggs with white yogurt, not as delicate as a cake but uniquely exquisite. She couldn’t help but wonder what it would taste like...
She was quite surprised. Was he preparing this while she was in the bath?
Solely because she just mentioned wanting to eat cake...
Unexpectedly, he could be so attentive sometimes.
As she was curiously examining the cake, the man glanced down at the time on his phone, then spoke again, reminding her.
"Make a wish."
There were only a few minutes left in the day, and if she didn’t blow out the candles soon, it would be too late.
At his words, Summer nodded, then closed her eyes, clasped her hands at her lips, and earnestly made a wish.
After a few seconds, she opened her eyes, revealing a satisfied smile, bowed her head, and blew out the candle. The room once again plunged into darkness.
Just as Summer was getting up in the dark to turn on the lights, her wrist was suddenly seized by a strong hand.
She was stunned, and with a slight pull from that force, she fell into his embrace, her back pressed against his chest.
Then his hands wrapped around her waist, preventing her from moving.
He lowered his head, his warm breath fell on the back of her ear.
Then, his deep voice slowly resonated in her ear.
"Happy Birthday, Summer Shawcross!"
The deep voice seemed to fall directly into her heart, slowly melting away...
