I was Kidnapped for Revenge by a Ruthless Alpha-Chapter 80: The Gift
Chapter 80: The Gift
~ODETTE’S POV~
"Ursula. That’s not a name I’ve heard in a long time and vaguely remember her name. She must have been that close." I shrugged. I did like the idea of someone who knew my family being around to teach me. I missed home so much. Now if they rescued me, I don’t know if I’d return with them.
I need to convince Ambrose to let me reach out to my mother and tell her I’m okay. That she doesn’t have to keep searching for me, that maybe in time, I’ll get to come visit, and we can move past this.
I don’t think I can ever truly let go of Ambrose.
I look back at the man holding me from behind. His strong jaw and sharp cheeks. His think black hair that screamed to run my fingers through it. Golden eyes like sunshine and honey. A face carved by gods.
How I fit perfectly in his arms. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. I’ve been gone weeks, and that place doesn’t feel like home to me.
But his arms do. He feels like the home I’ve always wanted.
"Best we get ready for dinner, I can hear the chatter in the channel, people are hungry and are already returning. I admit I wanted to take some time for ourselves and ravish you, but with a pack of hungry wolves banging on our door I don’t I’ll have the time for all that I have in store for us." He bent low and his hot breath sent shivers down my spine. The words he whispered sent a thrill through me.
"I can smell your arousal." And with those words heat rushed from my core to my face.
I quickly turned around and shoved him. "Screw you."
I swiftly moved past him, whipping my braid at him before taking it out and letting my white locks cascade down my back.
I peak through the clothes, seeing that we’d be in doors I went to pick out a black dress, but instead I felt a square plastic bag hit my back.
"Wear this tonight, for me, please, I picked it out. I mean if you don’t like it, you don’t have too, but I’d like it if you did." He spoke almost shyly. He’s picked out clothes for me before, so why does this dress make him nervous?
I take the bag from him and open it up and find a small square box on top.
I look at him with a raised brow.
"What’s this?"
"Open it and find out." He gave me his famous stupid smirk.
I open the box and find a beautiful necklace. A white gold chain with a small, dainty crescent moon charm with a hard glittery metal stone in the center of the crescent moon. And a pair or white gold star shaped earrings.
"Meteorite."
"An upgrade?" I joked.
"From what?" He gave me a puzzling look.
"For my collar?" I laughed.
He frowned. I guess he didn’t find it as funny as I did.
"There’s nothing magical about it the necklace. It’s just rare and beautiful. Like you."
And just like that guilt ripped through my chest like a brute force.
"It’s beautiful, I love it. Would you help me put it on?" I said speaking genuinely, grabbing hold of my hair and moving it to the side to give him a full view of my neck.
It was possibly the most beautiful piece of jewelry I’ve ever seen.
"I had it custom made for you. It’s from a piece of meteorite that has been in my family for generations." He told me as he wrapped the necklace around my neck clasping it from the back.
I pressed my hand on the necklace, I thought it would feel cold against my skin, but instead it felt warm. And I swear I could feel it humming.
"It suits you."
I hadn’t stopped touching it or smiling since he put it on.
"There’s more in the bag, keep opening." He said proudly.
More?
But this was already so much, I wasn’t used to getting gifts, not from my family.
I open the bag and look further and there was something else folded and wrapped in thin paper.
Unfolding the paper revealed a beautiful shimmering silver dress. Adorned with beaded gems and silver threading. It was stunning.
"There’s shoes too." He adds.
And inside there were solid crystal heels.
"Very Cinderella." I couldn’t help but laugh lightly. These gifts were stunning, and unlike anything I’ve ever been given. The dress style was mature.
We quickly showered. He left the shower first, not having so much hair to wash makes showers a lot faster. That by the time I was done and out he was already dressed in a black tuxedo with a tie and cufflinks that matched my silver dress.
He looked godly standing before me; his tailored suit fit his toned muscular body perfectly.
He helped me into my dress. I was going to style my hair up, but he asked if I wouldn’t mind leaving it down. I smiled and nodded yes.
After I applied some light make up to my eyes and lipstick, I stood in front of the body length mirror admiring myself for a moment.
The dress had a corset boned torso that cupped my breasts perfectly. Fitted to my curves, like the dress was made for me. It hugged my hips but flowed out freely at my thighs. The dress was silk colored silver with soft sheer fabric that glittered with beaded accents. I looked like a winter storm had blown in.
I stepped into the crystal shoes and out of the closet. And when I came out Ambrose dropped the phone and starred, his adams apple bobbed when he gulped. I watched as the man became practically undone in my presence.
He closed the distance between us in the blink of an eye. Wrapping his big muscular arms around me. His lips claimed mine with an insanely fierce intensity it stole my breath away. I was melting in his arms, becoming complete putty under his kiss. It was all consuming and soul devouring.
Our lips danced hypnotically while our tongues moved in perfect sync. We got lost in the thraws of our passionate kiss, only stopping when he broke the kiss. freēnovelkiss.com
Breathless he pushed his forehead to mine.
"You are a goddess... And when you walked in... it was like Artemis herself... had blessed me with her... presence..." He was panting so hard it took him almost a whole minute to say those words to me.
"I can’t that someone as beautiful as you, is my mate."
