I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse-Chapter 1837: Shocking Moth!
"I get your point," Hye paused, thinking about this before adding, "so let’s first check what you can give me in return. I’m sure you prepared a long list of goods we can trade..."
"Not while she is here," Moth was already full of Olana’s presence. He didn’t want to see her any longer, "kick her away or send her with your forces, I don’t care. I won’t continue the meeting in her presence!"
"Never thought a Hescos mighty commander like yourself would fear me," Olana chuckled in amusement, returning to do the playful role.
"I can’t," yet Hye didn’t even spare her a glance, "the moment I take her away, her family will notice, and our meeting will stop."
"Ah, don’t worry about that," Moth suddenly grew curious about what Hye intended to do, "see this orb? It can block any communications with the outside. Or else do you think I’ll speak openly with you while our talk is broadcast elsewhere?"
Hye looked at what Moth took out. It was a glistening blue ball, made of many facets. It was beaming with white light at the separate lines between facets. "Nice touch," Hye paused, before seriously adding, "if they have a way to know if she was here or not, then..."
"Don’t worry about that," Moth waved his hand, while another piece of equipment appeared in his free hand, "this matches anyone’s vitals. Let me place it over her forehead, like this..." Moth’s hands moved fast, and in the blink of an eye, he touched her forehead with that piece of gadget, "Now I can mimic her vitals, and no one will tell she isn’t here!"
"You two are madmen!" Olana never showed anything until Moth copied her vitals. That told Hye she really felt threatened, and the only thing keeping her safe was now taken away by that gadget.
"Cool, why don’t you activate it then?" Hye slowly stood up, and in return, Olana’s body trembled while she involuntarily stood up.
"W... What do you plan to do?!!" Her voice even came weak, as she knew if Hye had a way to take her away, then he was going to do it right now!
"What else?" Hye evilly smiled, "I’m going to send you home, to my place, of course." Hye even chuckled, while flashing fast towards her. One hand grabbed her body, another waved at the space, and then a portal miraculously appeared in front of everyone!
"This... This... No... No way!!!" Olana felt what true fear really meant at this juncture.
"Interesting..." As for Moth, despite being as shocked as Olana to see a portal opening here, he was far more curious to know what lay on the other side of this portal.
He knew the space was locked and shut tight using the help of the advanced space locking technologies. This was something not even his race could handle or crack when applied! And yet, Hye simply waved a hand, and a portal defied all scientific logic, appeared against any logic!
"Let me go... Help! Help!!!" Just when the portal opened, Olana tried to resist Hye’s grasp, tried to fight and punch, tried to run for her life. And yet, all that she managed to do was scream for a few seconds before she felt a tight grip, and her body flew into the portal, passing through it.
"Nice toss," Hye used the help of a few of his Selvator warriors, "go and make sure she stays out of trouble. Inform everyone there that she is my woman, got it?"
"Sure, my king," the warrior nodded in veneration, before moving with a group of twenty others, passing through the portal. And then, the portal closed, while Moth felt great regret that he couldn’t take a peek at what was on the other side.
"You... You really did it!" As if he just watched something impossible happen, Moth said in a low tone, "You also plan to get away using that portal. Where does it lead between? Your new base in the universe?"
"Why? Interested in coming over and having a few drinks?" Hye snorted, and Moth knew he was just joking. Yet he couldn’t help but joke as well.
"Why not? I like tightening up relationships with my future long-term allies!"
"Next time then," Hye jumped over this point, "now she is gone. Show me the list you prepared!"
"Sure, but let’s make things faster," Moth seemed a bit troubled by Olana’s absence, not like how he behaved all this time, "I can’t be sure how long they’ll be fooled by her absence!"
"Let’s add each other as friends then," Hye couldn’t believe Moth did all that just to tease Olana. The joke he kept playing turned against him in the end, as he never thought Hye truly had a way to take her from here!
"Send me everything you are willing to exchange with me, and I’ll slowly go through them..."
"Slowly? Shouldn’t you do it faster?" Moth interrupted his words, and if Hye could see through the thick mask of the suit, he would have seen a bewildered expression over Moth’s face.
"Why? I’m not the one who needs to travel through this place and explain himself and what happened," Hye didn’t even feel a tinge of empathy towards Moth. The dude dug this grave for himself, and Hye was gladly pushing dirt over him!
"Fine," even if Hye said he would take his time going through everything, Moth didn’t hesitate to hurriedly accept the friend request and sent everything he had at once.
He was sure Hye wouldn’t find trouble going away from here, though that portal. And yet he had to go through the entire resort, a thing that would end in a tight spot even for someone like him. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"This human is a bottomless pit of secrets!" Watching Hye go through the list in ease, Moth couldn’t help but think like this to himself!
He knew and followed Hye’s news for a long time, feeling like there was nothing this human could do to surprise him anymore. And yet what Hye did to Olana was out of expectations, exposing a new secret to Moth.
