I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse-Chapter 1825: The Hescos’ Move!

Hye ended up gathering up the loot while feeling he struck gold by getting involved in this war. He gained tons of bones, lots of ships, and overwhelming wealth out of golden coins.

"If only many forces in the universe are as generous as those motherfckers!" he muttered in regret when he finished the second war he was initially going towards.

The gains from this war weren’t even close to one hundredth of what he gained from the war with the Golden Cross. He even asked the pirate king and lady nymph to see if there was any news about this group, trying to see if he could attack them again.

"Tsk! I can’t complain though, at least I got more bones and ships," Hye bitterly said, while getting no intel about the Golden Cross. "I still have more warzones to visit, let’s start with this one then..."

Hye spent the next couple of months jumping from one battlefield to another. He kept repeating the same tactic, using his Soulers and Reapers to shock any war he joined, while gathering tons of loot in the process.

The number of ships he gained was now enough to double what his kingdom had of fleets! Not to mention he acquired a huge wealth of golden coins, enough to embark over the plan he devised with Major and others.

And yet he didn’t feel any excitement nor was he satisfied by what he was doing. There wasn’t a single big enemy that gave him enough challenge, nor a big gain to make him feel contempt.

If not for the dire need he was in for the golden coins and ships, he would have stopped a long time ago. And when he was about to go to a new warzone, he received a weird message from the lady nymph.

[There is someone asking for a meeting. He is from Hescos!]

"The Hescos? That’s weird..." Hye was taken aback by what he received from the lady nymph. When he inquired further, he learnt that some sort of a big name in the Hescos left him this request at the Bringold impact!

Hye didn’t know why someone from the Hescos wanted to meet with him. And he didn’t realise how big of an impact he made for the entire universe by the first war he visited.

He didn’t know that the Hescos leader was trying to find him across the vast universe but failed. He didn’t want to alert the Toranks about their intentions, fearing the Toranks might interfere or change their attitude towards Hye.

News came from the Hescos spies in the Toranks empire, they intended to make things hard for Hye. it was the best news ever, as it would pour into the Hescos favour and make things easier for them.

Yet finding Hye proved to be super hard! There was no way to get in direct contact with him. Any attempt to find his post-apocalypse world came with no results. And trying to locate his new base in the universe wasn’t fruitful at all.

In the end, that leader had to send convoys to any place he heard Hye was spotted at. His messengers kept visiting lots of warzones, seeking Hye with no result.

In the end, he found a brilliant idea of using the help of another force Hye was known to have ties with; the Bringold impact. Even if this merchant group suffered lots of setbacks lately, mostly thanks to what the Hescos did to them, yet it wasn’t that hard to amend things between the two sides.

After paying a hefty price and striking lots of future deals with the Hescos, the Bringold impact leaked the intel of having their ex-employee with Hye. They sent a message by the Hescos request over to the lady nymph, while asking for a meeting with Hye.

"Intersting..." Hye sat on his small ship seat while contemplating over what he received, "if my hunch is correct, then perhaps there is going to be a large shift in their attitude towards me... It’s dangerous to meet them up in a place belonging to them, just in case they wanted to something bad to me. So..."

He didn’t hesitate to check where the meeting was. When he spotted a place he never heard of, he didn’t hesitate to ask his friends about what this place was.

"Hmm, a large resort planet... Never heard of such places in the universe before..." he read the many reports he received from Major, lady nymph, and the pirate king about that planet the Hescos picked for meeting.

The planet seemed like one of the most famous resorts in the universe. The race controlling it was so influential to be threatened by a big race in the universe like the Hescos. That race was so rich to be bought for setting a trap for him.

"Everything looks fine on the surface; I have to admit they picked a great place for meeting with me... It’s a neutral planet, one that is far away from any big influence the Hescos had, away from any big influence any other big race held, like the Toranks... Great first move indeed!"

Hye thoroughly researched that planet, taking almost two days before making up his mind. [Tell them I agree, I’ll meet them there in a month from now!]

[A month? You can take a shorter path, no more than one week to arrive there!] The lady nymph was surprised by what Hye sent. And she made sure to remind him of the shortest path she sent before to arrive there.

[I know, but something tells me this meeting will be a grand chance for us to strike more deals. So why not amass more golden coins and bones? Who knows!]

[Ah, so you plan to visit more warzones before going there? Not bad!] she paused, before adding, [How about taking a few of your big generals with you?]

[No need, if they meant ill, then I doubt any force with me will be enough to stop them!] Hye shrugged, [being by myself is way better, this way I can easily run from any trap, or even retreat!]
