I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse-Chapter 1824: Every Big Race is Taking Sides!
The wise ones in the Hescos advised against turning Hye to an eternal enemy. They mentioned that in the history of big races, there was no such a thing like long lasting foes! πππππ¬πππ·ππΏππ‘.ππΈπ
They also advised others to take advantage of the chance presented to them. News about how the Toranks dealt with Hye wasnβt secret for anyone, and it was highlighted over by these wise old Hescos men.
They saw an opportunity, in which they would pull Hye closer to their side, while working from the shadows to expand the gap between him and the Toranks.
The meeting slowly shifted towards this point. Led by the wise old Hescos figures, everyone started to accept such thought. What made many accept such a switch was the great benefits the Toranks enjoyed from acquiring Hyeβs bones, the thing every major force in the universe coveted!
The decision became much easier when few pointed out how Hye fought in that recent war, using the outer universe ships like he was one from that universe!
The benefit of having such an ally on their side, one who could easily change the tide in the brutal wars at the outer battlefield, was enough to attract more to the decision of allying with Hye.
Not to mention no one had a clue on how to stop Hyeβs peculiar fighting tactic that he showed in the last war. It was obvious how he mastered such a fighting maneuver, in a way that told everyone he did it many times before.
Things escalated from this point when everyone recalled the recent failed attempt to gain the precious caravan of the Toranks. They all realised it was Hye who gained the caravan, and even few started to link him with the pirate group that appeared in that incident.
Sizing up all the benefits from luring him over their side, the Hescos decided after a long meeting to end the enmity with Hye and turn a new page with him.
"I heard he was seeking lots of items from the Toranks," one of the leaders who were interested in Hye for long time spoke up at the end of the meeting, "items like warrior tokens, U.stat crystals, spaceships, and advanced war techniques are all highly sought by him!"
"I canβt believe he lacks any U.stat crystals," another leader expressed his thoughts, "he canβt have such might in the universe without securing tons of U.stat crystals and lots of ships!"
"I didnβt see any single ship from our universe in his fleets in that war," a third one spoke up, "perhaps he still needed these!"
"I say we try to establish a permanent connection with him," the first leader who mentioned what Hye valued said, "I know he is using his bones to settle such dealings, so we can have lots of bones this way!"
"That would be awesome, but do you think he still has enough bones after those bastards milked for so long?" another leader expressed his doubts.
"I received reports about someone making lots of deals using lots of bones a year ago or so," a big merchant in the Hescos said, "I believe he still has lots of bones."
"If my doubts are correct, then he must have a proper way to get more bones," the leader who knew Hye well said, "anyway we wonβt lose anything by asking, right?"
"Yet we need to prepare some kind of a deal that he wonβt refuse," one of the wise old men in the Hescos elite circle said, "we must understand that we have one shot at this. We must leave a strong impression on him; besides, we donβt know what the Toranks will do. They have an old history together, and we need to beat that!"
The meeting ended up by agreeing on finding good deals and giving these over to the leader who knew Hye the most. They decided to let him handle Hye, try to lure him to their side. In the worst case scenario, he wouldnβt be an enemy with them anymore.
Yet they all hoped to see Hye working with them like a true ally. The leaders in this meeting all knew that the most they would get from Hye wasnβt his bones, but his help in the outer battlefield.
For a long time, the big races in this universe reached a stalemate with their enemies from the other universe. This wasnβt surprising when the enemy was using ships that couldnβt be easily destroyed!
This stalemate put the big races in the universe under immense pressure. Everyone could tell if any race managed to find a way to perform well in the outer battlefield, if any force managed to turn the table around, then they would gain immense benefits from the system!
Big races werenβt fighting over resources in this universe anymore. In their eyes, what really mattered was the resources and benefits they would acquire from the outer battlefield. And Hye appeared as the unexpected variable every big race was waiting for.
Yet not all the big races in the universe thought the same. The Toranks for example didnβt consider any of that. Even if they had a better relationship with Hye, their pride got the best out of them.
In the end, the Toranks settled on treating Hye as a sworn enemy! Silverlining could only bitterly sigh when he heard the news, not knowing how the higher ups would come up with this decision!
Aside from these two, other races reached similar decisions. Few decided to be neutral, watch and see how things would end up, including the Hectors!
The latter had history with Hye thanks to what happened in the apocalypse. And even if many asked to ally with him, the final decision was for them to stand idle and do nothing.
Many decided to be enemies with Hye, others decided to start strong ties and get as many bones as they could out of him, while Hye didnβt know of any of that!
