After thinking long about his decision, Sean asked Samuel a question that only he could answer yes or no. And the question surprised them all.

"Can you leave your mafioso world for Megan? Yes or no?" he asked seriously which made Samuel feel so hesitant to answer.

Sean reminded him that Samuel said he would do anything to be with Megan. It’s true, Samuel is willing to do anything for her but he can’t leave his mafia world.

He felt it was his responsibility to take care of Lorenzo’s family one day. His father had also trusted him with this and no other could do it. Moreover, this was a very big business that affected the Lorenzo family’s survival.

"I would do anything for Megan, even risk my own life. But I can’t leave my mafia world for this." Samuel replied with a firm answer as well, saying how he couldn’t do that.

This was about his family’s pride, something that would be passed down to him.

Samuel then turned to Megan, saying that he had let her down because he simply couldn’t let go of his mob world.

After recovering sufficiently, Megan was allowed to go home from the hospital and they went to the Lorenzo family mansion. Odelia picked up Carmelia from the daycare center at the hospital.

There at dinner, Samuel started talking about his marriage to Megan. He and Megan had discussed this before, and they were ready for the wedding.

"I’ll agree with whatever you choose, and if the wedding is going to be at Zondalian, I’ll be there," Vasco told his son.

Meanwhile, Sean initially thought it was too soon, as Samuel and Megan’s relationship had only been going on for two months. Although they have known each other for more than a year.

"But it all comes back to Megan, if she really wants to get married to Samuel, I won’t stop her. As long as both of you are ready for this because marriage is a big responsibility," Sean said, which Vasco agreed with.

Vasco hopes that Samuel is ready to take on that responsibility, as a husband who will be loyal and protect Megan in the future. He would beat his own son if he dared to cheat or hurt Megan’s feelings later.

"It doesn’t matter if you’re my son, if you dare to hurt Megan’s feelings by cheating on her or even physically abusing her. I will personally repay you for that," said his father.

"If you go to Zondalian, who will temporarily hold your mafia group?" asked Odelia.

"I have Owen, my right-hand man. He usually takes care of this when I have to go somewhere else. I’ll leave my group with him for the few days I’m away in Zondalian," replied the mob boss.

"We are planning to get married in the Zondalian area, near a lake with lots of wysteria flowers there. We’ll try to observe the place first, whether it’s really as nice as it looks on the internet or not," Megan explained while holding Samuel’s hand.

The two of them smiled as they leaned against each other during dinner. Vasco smiled at how Samuel had found someone he loved. He then turned to his eldest daughter Odelia, where she had also found happiness with Sean and their little daughter Carmelia.

As a father, he felt he wanted nothing more than their happiness. Seeing them finally have a life partner, someone who would accompany them for a long time already made him feel very relieved.

She then turned to Samuel, as if their minds were connected to each other and understood what Odelia was thinking at the moment. He nodded his head, accepting the code from his older sister.
