I Have A Baby From My Ex-Husband's Enemy-Chapter 149: After Long Time We Meet Again
Three months on, Megan and Samuel are already preparing for their wedding. They only invited close friends and business associates, except for Samuel who only invited his trusted people.
And it was at this moment that they had planned for Vasco and Dasha to reunite.
Samuel then went to Mocoado to pick up his mother, while Vasco would come alone to Zondalian where he would also be picked up by him. They planned for their mother and father to meet at Sean’s house.
Two days after Samuel went to Mocoado, he finally arrived at Zondalian in the afternoon. There they kept it a secret that Vasco was coming too. Because they were sure Dasha would not want to come if she knew he was coming too.
"Welcome mom, how was your trip? Everything was fine, right?" Odelia asked her mother.
Of course Dasha nodded her trip was fine and she was happy because soon Samuel would be married. Megan also welcomed her future mother-in-law.
"I ask for your blessing, I will take good care of Samuel!" she said.
"I will definitely bless you, I know that Sam will be happy with you. You are a good woman and also talented," said the middle-aged woman while patting Megan’s shoulder.
They then invited Dasha to sit in the living room while they waited for Vasco’s arrival. The man had not given any more news after he took off a few hours ago. But if they calculated the travel time from Dormania to Zondalian, Vasco would be arriving at the airport soon.
They then invited Dasha to chat, talking about other things because they wanted to talk about the continuation of the wedding after Vasco arrived. Carmelia also looked happy to see that her grandmother had come from afar and could finally meet her again.
While Dasha was playing with Carmelia, Samuel received a message from Vasco that he had arrived at the airport.
"Then I’ll pick up dad, you guys distract mom while I pick him up. Just tell her I’m going to take care of some things for the wedding," Samuel said and borrowed Megan’s car to go and pick up his father.
"Where are you going?" asked Dasha as she watched her son leave the house.
"Sam has some things to take care of for the wedding the day after tomorrow. That’s why he has to leave for a while, he’ll come back later. You don’t need to worry, just sit and play with Carmelia," Odelia replied and accompanied her mother and Megan to the living room.
At the airport, Samuel immediately looked for his father who had been waiting at the exit. He had only come alone, as his men would follow later to stand guard around the wedding area. Actually, another reason why their wedding was held in Zondalian was so that no enemies from Lorenzo’s family would disrupt their wedding party.
Especially with Samuel’s family members being mobsters, they wanted to keep it a secret from all of Megan’s acquaintances at Sean’s request. He didn’t want it to become a big talk because his family was related to the mafia.
"Have you been waiting long?" asked Samuel as he helped carry Vasco’s suitcase.
"Not really, I just arrived a few minutes ago, maybe 20. There’s a lot to see around here anyway," he replied as he put out the cigarette he had been smoking.
They got into the car and left the airport with Vasco looking out the window. He watched everyone in the city of North Zondalia, studying the people around him.
"It must be very profitable if we do business in a place like this. If I look at them, they live with so much luxury, even the dogs are dressed," Vasco said.
"This city is different from the others, because this one has many skyscrapers and companies. Just like Vansia City, the North Zondalia section is the most successful place than the other sections." Samuel explained as he focused on driving the car.
He had come to Zondalian several times and seen several other places where they had their own characteristics. For example, North Zondalia is characterized as the most modern place with many big companies.
Western Zondalia has very beautiful beaches and some interesting tourist attractions. Likewise, Southern Zondalia and Eastern Zondalia also have their own characteristics.
Vasco nodded in understanding, amazed that the country was so well-organized by a government that was wise in governing their region. Samuel also explained that Zondalian regulations were quite strict, as were the fast-moving police.
"If we open a dirty business here, it won’t take long for them to find out. That’s why this country is quite safe from the things in Dormania," said the young man.
Dormania is indeed governed almost 60% by the mafia. Even the government that still governs the country, some of them are still subject to one of the strongest mafia groups which makes the mafia untouchable by the law.
After a long journey, the two of them finally arrived at Sean’s house where Vasco had been for the first time. He was quite impressed because the house was quite large and comfortable for Odelia to live in together with Sean and Carmelia.
"It’s good that my daughter and granddaughter live in a decent place like this. I feel calmer now that I know," she said.
"Oh they will be moving in soon, Odelia and Sean have bought a big house on the edge of the city. The house is also surrounded by a large yard and fence like the mansion where we live," said Samuel.
It’s just that the house is currently being renovated before it will be ready to be lived in by Sean and his little family. The house they currently live in is actually intended for Megan to live there but it turns out that Megan will move to Dormania following Samuel.
With the help of his son carrying a suitcase, Vasco walked into Sean’s house because he couldn’t wait to see Carmelia again. He even brought a large pink teddy bear that was his granddaughter’s favorite.
"Carmelia, where are you?" he called, which the little girl immediately heard because she recognized her grandfather’s voice.
Carmelia, who was sitting on her grandmother’s lap, immediately climbed down and ran to the front door to see her grandfather.
"Who’s coming? Did you invite the rest of the family?" asked Dasha who was surprised that they didn’t say anything about other family members coming.
Especially since she felt that she was familiar with the voice but she couldn’t remember who it belonged to because it had been so long since she had spoken to Vasco.
And as he stood in the living room doorway to hug his granddaughter, Dasha was surprised to find her long-time husband in front of her.
Not only her, Vasco was also very surprised to see Dasha in front of him now.
They were both frozen in place with a look of disbelief at what they were seeing right now.
