I Have 10,000 SSS Rank Villains In My System Space-Chapter 80: Flow
Chapter 80: Flow
So, how was it? Did you see it?" the old man asked, his eyes glinting with something between pride and mischief.
"Ahh... well, it was ridiculous," Razeal answered honestly, still blinking in disbelief.
At his words, the old man simply clasped his hands behind his back, his already-bent spine curving further as he leaned back slightly.
"You might be the very first person to ever witness a strike like that and still be alive," the old man said, stroking his beard, his voice drifting into nostalgia. "Almost every person I tried to show my techniques to died within the first instant. That’s why I never had any disciples."
Razeal coughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. "Well... I’m special, I guess," he muttered under his breath.
"So, did you learn anything?" the old man looked at him expectantly.
Razeal rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "I... don’t know," he said, honestly.
The old man’s eyebrows rose high. He’d fully expected a denial, not this vague response. In truth, he didn’t believe anyone could learn it. All his life, he’d tried taking disciples from commoners to heavenly prodigies but no one, no matter how much talent they had, ever learned it. The concept seemed untouchable. As for why he was entertaining this kid now? Simple: the kid was obviously too dumb to ever learn it. This was just passing time... and showing off. Not to mention, the promise of twenty heavenly books was too tempting. It wasn’t his fault the kid was talentless, after all.
But Razeal, in truth, was far from empty-headed.
He wasn’t even sure why.
He wasn’t sure what he was doing wasn’t sure how he was supposed to feel it or even what it was. But ever since he had seen that unbelievable strike from the old man, something inside him had shifted. He felt Something at that time subtle?A ripple. A drift. A memory, perhaps, of a sensation too deep to explain. He don’t know
He didn’t understand it. Couldn’t name it.
But he could feel it.
As if... something at that time had passed through him. Something beyond vision beyond logic.
He squeezed his eyes tighter, trying to grasp that fleeting sensation. Trying to hold onto something he wasn’t even sure existed.
He stood there, body relaxed but mind focused, reaching deep inside, trying to remember it. That brief, ephemeral sensation when everything around him seemed to move as one. He couldn’t visualize it not really. But he wanted to.
From the side, the old man watched Razeal with a slight frown.
"What’s this brat doing now?"
But Razeal wasn’t thinking about impressing him. He wasn’t even thinking about techniques or rewards. He simply wanted to understand what he had felt. It was like trying to remember a dream right after waking something vivid yet slipping between his fingers.
Then, suddenly
A spark.
His mind buzzed.
It was like a ripple had danced across his soul, and something... unlocked.
"What is this...?" Razeal whispered to himself. The sensation was bizarre. It wasn’t pain, nor power. It felt like he was submerged. Not in water, but in something intangible. The world around him became softer, denser rippling.
There was a strange pressure a stillness wrapped in movement. Like he was floating. Or sinking. Or both.
It was as if he were submerged underwater... surrounded on all sides, covered in a rippling, invisible force. It wasn’t suffocating, but all-encompassing. It came not just from one side but from every direction.
It wasn’t mana or aura or even something like that he knows of. It was something else.
His senses expanded.
He felt something brushing against his skin. Not wind. Not heat. Just... flow.
Then suddenly
He opened his eyes.
And as he did the world exploded in color.
His pupils shrunk for a moment, adjusting, and then expanded again in awe.
And then he saw it.
Colors.
Everywhere.
Ripples of radiant light drifted across the air like slow moving streams of liquid. Ethereal, shifting alive.
Each flow had its own hue. Some silver, some deep violet. Others glowed with crystalline green, and a purple one.
He blinked, awestruck.
Above him, he saw the dark-golden ripple pressing downward dense, slow, powerful. From its presence, he could feel pressure. Gravity?
A pale white flow circling his feet inertia?? He didn’t know, but he could feel it tugging at him.
And then there was that pale silver ripple again, moving with elegance and clarity through the air, the ground, the sky. It wasn’t powerful like the golden one, but it was vibrant. Alive.
Thousands of such flows. All colors. All directions.
All
Razeal stood in the middle of it all, unmoving. Like a lone, indestructible stone in the middle of a flowing river. Or rather countless rivers. Because he wasn’t surrounded by just one flow. There were thousands.
And they weren’t imaginary. He could see them.
Not just see but feel them.
He was no longer just observing them they were brushing across his skin, curling through his limbs, drifting through his mind like whispers of wind.
It was surreal.
The air itself felt like water now weightless and smooth. Not dense, but somehow tangible. Touching him. Embracing him from all sides.
He wasn’t hallucinating.
This was real. ƒrēewebnoѵёl.cσm
The world had always been this way. Full of unseen rivers. He had just been blind to them.
It was like suddenly being able to hear music in a silent room, only to realize it had been playing all along.
He looked around, then down at his own body.
And saw more.
Even within himself there were flows. Red for blood. Purple for emotional ripples? Memory? Spiritual? He didn’t know, but he could see them, and he could feel them.
As he turned slightly, more ripples changed direction, brushing past his shoulders, wrapping around his legs. He felt like he was made of stone, unmoved while the tides of the world flowed freely around and through him.
Outside and inside, the same strange phenomenon danced: movements, ripples, streams... Like the world had always been made of it, and only now had Razeal finally lifted the veil to see.
It was strange.
Unreal.
But somehow...
Didn’t even feel uncomfortable... maybe a little but all fine
In fact, it felt like this this was how things were supposed to be.
System, what is this?" Razeal suddenly asked, his voice low and filled with awe, addressing the only being who could see through his vision the system.
[Congratulations, host. What you’re currently seeing are the flows every kind of flow that exists and is active around you right now,] the system responded calmly, its tone matter-of-fact.
Razeal’s mouth slowly fell open, eyes wide as he tried to process the confirmation. Even though the thought that these waves and ripples might be the "flow" had passed through his mind, hearing it directly confirmed was an entirely different matter. It was surreal.
"Did I... already start learning it?" he muttered under his breath. "Damn... did I really grasp the concept that fast?" His chest puffed up a little as he rubbed his chin in thought. He hadn’t even gone through any proper training no long lectures, no exhausting trial and error. Just like that, he could now see it?
Only under ten minutes? SSS ranked related concept? Damm
Was he... a genius?
[Don’t flatter yourself too much, host,] the system cut through his thoughts like a bucket of cold water. [It’s because of your skill, ’Absolute Dark Genius.’ Since the old man revealed the concept and demonstrated it, and you actively tried to concentrate and understand, the skill began resonating with the idea. This allowed you to perceive what you subconsciously desired. That sensation you felt when the old man unleashed his slash? That was your perception aligning with the flow.]
Instead of getting annoyed at the system’s tone like he usually did, Razeal suddenly started laughing.
"Hahaha!"
The old man, who stood just a short distance away, raised an eyebrow. He was watching this kid from beginning with a confused and weird look as first this kid suddenly closed his eyes for no reason like praying to god? then opened them with shocked expressions cycling rapidly across his face Like he had seen god. He even turned his head in strange directions, like he was seeing that somethig dancing around naked?. Now, the boy was laughing like a lunatic.
"Does this brat have a mental condition...?" the old man muttered to himself, folding his arms. This behavior was nothing short of bizarre.
But Razeal didn’t care.
He was grinning from ear to ear, genuinely overjoyed. For the first time in years, his so called cursed skill actually proved useful. For six long years, ’Absolute Dark Genius’ had been little more than a title. No obvious use, no tangible benefit only fucking curse. But now? Now it had opened a door to something truly otherworldly. He felt vindicated.
"Finally... finally this skill proves it’s not completely useless!" Razeal whispered, shaking his head in disbelief and excitement. He felt like he’d just broken through something massive.
He wiped the corner of his eye, still grinning. "It’s finally starting..."
Then, shaking his head in amusement, he muttered to himself, As if answering to system words "Whatever... That skill’s mine anyway, so yeah it’s me who figured it out. It’s me who connected the dots. Literally makes me the genius."
I knew it i was just born to shine He roared in his head as of to fuck with system more.
Which worked ofcourse.
[You aren’t. It was because of the skill.]
The system tried to deny him, as usual.
But Razeal simply ignored it as he had planned with smirk on his face.
There were more important things to focus on.
He turned to face the old man, chest high and confidence surging.
"I can do it, old man! No, senior!" he declared, his voice rich with pride.
"...Do what?" the old man asked, blinking slowly. He looked at the kid’s overly proud face and wondered: Did he suffer psychological trauma from my strike? Maybe he didn’t die but the shock scrambled his brain... That would explain a lot.
But Razeal didn’t even wait for a reaction.
"I can see the flows now!" Razeal said, spreading his arms. "And honestly, I didn’t expect them to be this colorful. It’s a little weird, a bit uncomfortable, but still... they’re beautiful in their own way."
He spun his gaze across the environment, eyes glimmering with curiosity.
The old man just... stared. He understood the words. But not the meaning.
Huh? "Wait... what? You mean to say... you can see the flow?" Old man suspicious voice came even with little mocking.
Razeal nodded, his eyes scanning the invisible ripples around them. "Yes! Like these waves... Also I don’t know why, but some of them are giving me a very dangerous vibe. Like I shouldn’t touch them. What are those ones?"
His eyes narrowed, and then he pointed toward something ahead. "Especially that one. That green, emerald ripple over there. It’s giving me a really bad feeling. Almost like... I’ll disappear if I touch it. Do you know what that is?... it’s the thinnest, but it feels the most dangerous."
The old man’s eyes confused. "Green ripple?"
Then he paused.
Wait. Ehhh?
"You mean... you can really see the flows now?" he asked, his voice beginning to change as if hearing colours. "And not just one you said multiple?"
There was a faint crack in his tone. A note of disbelief.
And emreld green you say? Umm..
Also he followed Razeal’s finger, squinting into the space the boy was pointing at.
His eyes focused. Then widened.
He went pale.
"Wait.. your finger... that’s... that’s..." His voice caught in his throat.
Then he screamed.
"DON’T YOU DARE FUCKING TOUCH THAT, YOU FUCKING MORON.. THAT’S THE TIME FLOW!!"
