Chapter 369: Chapter 369 Revision

Drake sighed in relief, slumping dramatically. "Teacher... thank you... Drake’s brain was starting to melt."

Felix nodded seriously. "Teacher is right. If we read too much, our brain gets tired."

Boo raised his hand. "Teacher... Boo’s brain gets tired even before reading."

"That is not something to be proud of, Boo," Vlad Jr. said deadpan.

Luna leaned back in her chair and stretched. "Teacher said fun is important. I will fun very hard today."

"Yes," Rocky agreed, hugging his notebook. "I will fun too."

Alina laughed softly. "Yes, yes. Fun is important. But remember...read a little bit every day. Just a little."

Sable raised his hand shyly. "Teacher... even if we read a little... can we still get good marks?"

Alina knelt beside him and smiled. "Yes, sweetheart. If you read properly and understand everything we practiced, you will all do very well."

The babies exchanged hopeful glances.

Vlad Jr. lifted his chin. "Then we shall revise with sincerity."

Drake patted his own cheeks. "Drake will try... Drake will fight..."

Boo floated in a circle. "Boo will read ONE sentence more than usual. Boo is champion."

Alina couldn’t hold back her laugh. "I believe in all of you."

The bell rang, echoing through the hallway like a tiny announcement of doom, and Alina clapped her hands gently as the babies straightened in their seats.

"Alright, little ones," she said with a calm smile, "now we’re going to continue with math."

Half the class groaned.

Drake slid halfway under his desk.

Boo wrapped himself in his own tail like a blanket of despair.

Felix whispered, "Math hurts my heart..."

Alina pretended not to laugh.

"There will be no big problems on the exam," she reassured them. "I will only ask addition, subtraction, multiplication, and maybe one tiny division question."

The babies nodded seriously, although Boo immediately whispered, "Teacher says tiny division... but division is never tiny..."

"Boo, sit properly," Alina said gently.

He sat. Upside down. But he sat.

"Let’s start with something simple. You already know all of this. We’re just revising," she continued, picking up her chalk. "First, let’s remember what addition means."

The babies exchanged exhausted, traumatised glances.

"Yes, teacher..." they mumbled.

"Good," Alina said calmly. "Your exam paper will only have simple things. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and very rarely division. All things you have already learned."

Boo raised a shaky hand. "Teacher... Boo learned them. Boo remembers learning them. Boo does not remember remembering them."

"That’s why we revise," Alina said gently.

Drake sat up a bit. "Teacher... revision means reading again, right?"

"Yes, sweetie."

He sighed dramatically. "Drake already did so much revision. Drake counted how many snacks he has. Then Drake subtracted how many snacks he ate. Then Drake multiplied how many snacks he wants."

"Drake," Vlad Jr. said politely, "that is not how revision works."

Drake glared. "It worked for me!"

Alina hid her laugh behind her lesson notebook.

"Alright," she said, "let’s begin. First, a quick reminder: What does addition mean?"

The babies did not panic this time, they answered like exhausted war veterans who had survived a thousand worksheets.

Rocky lifted his hand. "Addition means putting things together... again..."

"Yes," Alina smiled. "Good."

Boo floated forward. "Teacher, Boo remembers this. Addition is... numbers becoming friends."

"That is not wrong," Vlad Jr. admitted.

Drake nodded with deep wisdom. "Addition means we get more. Which is good. Very good. Like snacks."

"Not everything is snacks, Drake."

"But it could be," Drake muttered.

They wrote it down, slowly but confidently.

Next, Alina turned the page. "Now, subtraction. Tell me."

The class groaned instantly.

Luna slammed her pencil lightly. "Teacher... subtraction is when numbers leave us."

Rocky whispered sadly, "Yes... subtraction is heartbreak."

Felix nodded dramatically. "Subtraction is when my tails get confused."

Boo clutched his chest. "Subtraction makes Boo emotional."

Alina held back a laugh. "Children... subtraction simply means taking something away."

Vlad Jr. raised a finger with noble grace. "Teacher, we know. We simply dislike it."

"That is very fair," Alina agreed.

They wrote their notes again.

Finally, she moved to the next part. "Multiplication. You already know this too."

Drake nearly fell off his chair. "Teacher... multiplication scares my brain."

Boo floated in tiny anxious circles. "Teacher... when numbers repeat... Boo gets dizzy."

Felix blinked. "Teacher... multiplication is like adding many times... right?"

"Yes!" Alina nodded encouragingly.

Felix puffed up proudly. "Then Felix is good. Felix can add snacks many times."

"Why again snacks?" Alina sighed.

"Because life is snacks," Felix said seriously.

Even Vlad Jr. struggled not to laugh.

Alina wrote the note: "Multiplication = adding the same number many times."

Everyone scribbled with determination.

Even Boo wrote confidently this time... although he added a tiny ghost next to the answer "for strength."

Then Alina gave them all a soft smile. "See? You already knew everything. You’re just revising. Nothing scary."

The class relaxed visibly.

Boo raised his hand. "Teacher... after exam... can we revise naps instead?"

"No, Boo."

He nodded sadly. "I tried."

Drake raised his hand. "Teacher... can we revise snacks?"

"No."

Alina finally clapped her hands and said, "Alright, little ones. Ten minutes of rest. Stretch your fingers, drink water, breathe."

The babies collapsed instantly.

Drake flopped over his desk like a dying carrot. Boo melted halfway through the air like a ghost puddle. Felix folded his tails over himself like a blanket. Luna just lay face-down, growling softly at the floor.

Alina walked between the desks, smiling at their dramatic exhaustion.

Then Drake suddenly lifted his chubby hand toward her as if presenting evidence in court.

"Teacher!!! Look at my wrist!!!" he cried, eyes wide with tragic hope. "Teacher... my hands... my poor hands... they are pink from writing! Look, teacher! LOOK!"

He wiggled his chubby fingers at her, making the entire thing even more dramatic. He clearly hoped the sight would make her cancel exams forever.

Alina blinked. "Oh my goodness, Drake! Are you okay?"

She crouched beside him immediately, gently taking his soft little hands into hers. They were warm, tiny, and honestly the cutest things she had ever held. His palms were slightly pink, mostly because he had been squeezing his pencil like he was fighting for his life.

She examined them carefully.

"They’re very soft," she murmured, poking one finger. "And very small. And very chubby."

Drake puffed his chest proudly despite the fake suffering. "Teacher... you see... my wrist is injured from working SO HARD..."

She bit her lip to stop a smile. "Injured, hm? Should I call the nurse?"

Drake gasped. "No! No nurse! Nurse will give medicine! Drake hates medicine!"
