Demi-human Girls Completion Manual-Chapter 1153 - 109: Seventh Night (Part 2)
But in the next second, Fisher didn’t see the sea before him, but rather Tangze Asuka with a flushed face, shaking him incessantly with her hands.
"...Tangze?"
"Thud!"
Feeling her hands shaking him, he slightly trembled his body trying to make her let go. Unexpectedly, this gentle force caused Tangze Asuka to lose control and fly backward. She frantically covered her white robe and slid far on the floor until she hit the wall at the end of the room with a "thud".
"Ouch, it hurts..."
Fisher was startled awake by this too. He quickly sat up, looking at Tangze who was covering her head and groaning continuously,
"Tangze, are you okay?"
"No... sss... I’m okay... sss..."
"Hahaha, I feel like a big bump is going to grow on her head."
At this moment, beside them, because Fisher had knocked through the wall, Helair in the next room was revealed. Facing her merciless mockery, Tangze Asuka felt even more embarrassed.
Fisher glanced at Helair sitting in the adjacent room, then looked at the dim sunlight outside and couldn’t help but ask,
"Afternoon again, have I slept this long?"
"Not afternoon again! It’s almost evening! No matter how I called out to Mr. Fischer, you wouldn’t wake up. If it weren’t for Hel... anyway, I almost thought you were going to miss tonight’s festival. I made some delicious food, if you don’t get up, Mr. Fischer won’t be able to taste any of it."
"Delicious food?"
"Yes, I personally made French cuisine. Margaret taught me. Mr. Mikhail and the others have already gone to prepare for dinner, while Mr. Fischer is still lazing here, let’s get moving."
Tangze Asuka patted the dust off her clothes and said with a smile. It was then that Fisher noticed Chun with black hair outside the doorway, seemingly examining him.
Fisher nodded to him, then stood up and walked towards the outside. Helair from the next room yawned and floated up to follow, but probably in Chun’s eyes, she was moving around like a normal Human.
It has to be said, this ability is indeed useful. If she could disguise herself as others, wouldn’t she be able to do many things without being discovered?
Watching Fisher and Helair walk out of the room, Chun, who had been staring at Fisher, finally withdrew his gaze,
"Your Life level has transcended, have you joined our ranks?"
Unexpectedly, Chun’s first words to Fisher who just came out was this.
Fisher’s steps paused slightly. Although a bit wary, he still nodded calmly,
"Indeed so."
Although Tangze Asuka initially was a complete newbie in this Otherworld, after these months of adventure with Fisher, plus the recent days with Margaret’s guidance, she could roughly understand what their conversation was about.
But Chun was exceptionally perceptive, seeming to have sensed Fisher’s thoughts,
"No need to be tense, I am different from my kin, I won’t do anything to you. Let’s go, we’re heading to Margaret’s; she’s prepared dinner."
"Would I be targeted on the Tree Continent?"
Fisher questioned, and Chun nodded honestly, his expression was calm.
Leading Fisher and the others towards the stone tower, he spoke,
"Yes, Life level is a standard that distinguishes my kin and all other things from birth, moreover, the reverence of the ’rites’ of ranks won’t tolerate acts of Overstepping. Yet, the Ranks set by Lord Main God are fixed, but not insurmountable.
"To Him, Life is a miraculous encounter, even if the miracle is small, it can still occur. For millennia, in the Tree Continent, there have been a few individuals who crossed the Gate to achieve the so-called ’Myth’. However, unlike you, their original level was already high. This is the first time I have seen a Human achieve Myth...
"Perhaps this is the uniqueness of a Transferee?"
On hearing this, Fisher laughed suddenly, because anyone with a bit of sense would know the fate of those usurpers,
"All those who entered the Mythical Rank were killed by the Elves, weren’t they?"
"...Not just killed, but eradicated."
Chun’s gaze dimmed, as if recalling something sad,
"An individual entering Myth, even if a rarity of millennia, still represents a potential of Overstepping for that race. You should know, the total number of Mythical Species is fixed, but those who later enter Mythical Rank are not bound by this limit.
"As such, my fellows found a justification to purge them under the claim of ’limiting the impact of powerful individuals on the rules’. Under this claim, whenever there’s an individual of Mythical Rank in the Tree Continent, their race would immediately face extinction.
"Since then, many kind and beautiful races from my homeland along with their partners and supporters vanished from the world, leaving no Trace of their existence as if they never were."
Fisher’s expression shifted slightly, he looked at Chun beside him, who wasn’t looking at him but kept a calm gaze forward.
