Chapter 78: Who are you?

Just Bizarre.

That was the character that Ravi would give the young woman. He looked down at the tub in his hand. It was a small wooden container, he opened it and the scent of lemons filled the air. This was an antibiotic ointment that would help in the healing of open wounds but she modified it a little so the healing is accelerated.

Lana claimed that it was the only thing that she had created since she moved, muttering how far the mighty had fallen.

As for the reason that he had gotten such a gift this morning was because of the breakfast.

"The sauce is so delicious. What kind of sauce is this? I have never had crepes like this before."

She praised his cooking so much that Ravi was afraid if he delayed some more, she might swear loyalty to him for the rest of her life.

He walked down the street when he saw the Incarnate. Maybe because of the walk the day before he did not have much hassles about this person.

"Good morning."

"Officer, hope you slept well last night." Malik said he was dressed in dark brown trousers and a light brown shirt with loafers. Was he a teacher?

"It was alright."

And like yesterday, they walked down for a few minutes before Ravi discovered a very important problem.

Yesterday might have been alright because he was coming back from work but it was different today because he would be late for work if he did not teleport.

He pursued his lips. How to go about this?

"Officer, you should not slow your steps for me. My work begins at 9 a.m. You can go ahead."

Ravi’s lips twitched into a smile. This person was much better than he expected, "Alright. I will be going." He jogged forward, turning into a corner and disappearing from view.

The moment he felt the scent had disappeared, Malik’s lips also pulled into a gentle smile.

Ravi did not know that he was the reason for some people’s smiles early that morning as he hurried to work. He carried a simple bag with some case files and his lunch box.

A few meters from work, he stopped at a restaurant and entered inside.

"Officer West! Good morning. I have not seen you in weeks." The man greeted and Ravi nodded.

"I have been busy. I would like to reserve a pack, two packs of fruit salad for lunch." He passed over the money.

The man chuckled, his laughter was the one that began to spring forth from his belly, "Okay. I will get Musa to deliver it to you in the afternoon."

Ravi nodded. He would need some fruit for today.

After the interactions, he rushed out of the restaurant and jogged to work. He met Sarah on the staircase.

"Officer West."

"Officer Adams."

They greeted each other and remained silent. Neither of them was the perfect host or hostess.

Sarah looked at Ravi, the small silver hook in his ear had been changed to a pure black stud, it gave him a bit of unruliness. It was different from Ravi West who looked like the world owed him.

"You changed your earring." ƒrēenovelkiss.com

"Yes."

It got silent again and Sarah opened the door for them to walk through. Ravi thanked her and passed.

"Sergeant. Are you feeling better?" Sarah hurriedly asked when she saw Tom at his desk.

Tom nodded and then looked at Ravi and then at Sarah, "Sarah, who is this?"

"Sergeant, you would break Officer West’s heart if you said that." Arlen’s voice came as he leaned on his office door, his eyes widened when he saw Ravi before he smiled. He was wearing the same uniform that he wore every day but Ravi felt like he looked even better than he usually did.

Ravi’s heart started to beat a bit faster and he tried to control it, it would all end this night, "I do not particularly care." He ignored Sarah’s odd look and went to his seat. He switched on the table light and put his files on the table.

"Yes, definitely Ravi." Tom said and the rest of them laughed.

Ravi shut them all a sharp glare but they ignored it.

There was the sound of the door opening and a young girl walked in.

"Hello. Where do I file a report?" She asked.

Arlen smiled at her, "Come in. Officer Adams, get her a glass of water."

The fact that they had a current active gas they were investigating did not mean that reports would stop coming. Look at the report that he was dealing with. It was the missing report of an eighteen-year-old woman.

He had forwarded it to the missing people department but still he had to file in a report before washing it off his hands.

Come to think of it, has the missing report he received this year increased? He was probably being too sensitive.

"That earring is so beautiful. Where did you get it, I have not seen anything like it?"

Lisa. He rubbed his eyes and looked at her, his fingers pausing their motions on the keyboard.

"In a shop in Harlan." He paused and watched her, he was a little curious, would her desire for such a unique jewel win against her prejudices against Harlan?

Lisa bit her lips for a few minutes, "Forget it. One should not be concerned about worldly things."

Ravi had to pinch his thigh so he would not burst out laughing.

"Ravi,..." She whispered.

He widened his eyes as he recalled what she had told him yesterday, "how did the date go?"

Lisa smiled widely, "It was amazing!!! He was a complete gentleman and he was so interested in our work. Other guys, the moment they hear that I am a police officer, they would just run away but this one was even excited."

Ravi’s brows furrowed but he still dutifully replied, "I am happy for you."

"Captain! Captain!" There was a loud shout as strong wind due to a certain person’s ability blew up all the papers. Ravi did not need to do anything because...

"Draco!"
