HUNTED-Chapter 357: Taken for a ride (2)
It was Aila’s first time riding and steering and controlling a motorbike. At first, she went slow while Damon instructed her on what different parts were to the bike and what to do on the road. Pack members watched them with cheeky grins splitting their lips. They could hear the pack mind-link stirring and many commenting about Alpha Damon and Luna Aila’s cute date.

Aila had to admit, the images flashing through her mind of the pair were pretty hot. It even made her want to do it on the bike.
Hmm.. maybe later..
Her wolf chortled and approved of where her thoughts went.
Now she was speeding down the long, bendy countryside roads. She hadn’t gone far and felt her legs shaking by the time Damon told her to stop off on the side of the road. They’d been heading in the direction of the mountains, but Aila didn’t yet feel confident in taking that route, and the sky was growing dark.
Damon shuffled forward on the bike, keeping it steady as Aila stepped off and switched places with him. "I’ve dressed up this much.. Where are we going?"
Damon grinned over his shoulder. Or so she assumed, as his face was partially covered. "You’ll see. Hold on tight. Let me show you what speed is." He flapped the visor down in front of him and started to turn.
Aila grinned and leaned forwards, her arms tightening around his waist. "Oh baby, riding isn’t always about speed."
Damon chuckled at her innuendo. "I’ll remember that."
Aila gulped; she suddenly remembered how much of a tease Damon had been her first few weeks after finding out he was her mate. A shiver ran down her as he started the bike again.
Her breath and heart escaped her as Damon sped down the country road. While adrenaline pumped through her, and her fear turned to thrill, she started gazing at the sky of orange, yellows, pinks and blues, turning to navies and the first sign of the moon while the sun continued to lower.
Their bodies leaned one way and the other as they went through the mountains. Aila felt like she was flying at the speed and movement. With the cold wind blowing through her hair, she felt her stresses melt away, and her jaw started to ache from smiling and giggling so much. Once they were past the mountains, the night sky turned dark, with the twinkling stars trying to outshine each other.
The motorbike started slowing down, and Aila’s attention followed where Damon was taking them, and another grin split across her face. Why did she dress up like this to go traipsing through the woods? Her white heels were surely going to get muddy and ruined.
Not that she cared about things like that, and she didn’t mind actually dressing up for once. It was for Damon anyway and for herself. She felt sexy in this dress, especially after his eyes roamed across her in a way that meant he wanted to rip it off her and take her there.
They stopped on the side of the road where the fencing to the slight hill had been cut off for the little section they were going to go through to get to their favourite place. The lake. Aila removed her helmet and shook out her hair before removing the jacket and stepping away from the bike, her legs a little wobbly.
Damon chuckled and bent down, picking her up so his arms were beneath her knees and back. Aila rested her head against his chest, not minding him carrying her. His biceps were big and strong, his chest hard like the rest of his finely defined body to go with his damn sexy Greek god visage.
She was indeed a lucky girl. Aila sighed into his chest with a smile. A low vibration in his chest revealed a happy response from her Alpha. It was almost blissful going through the quiet forest.
Damon didn’t need to carry her. It was possible he was doing it so her shoes wouldn’t get dirty. But like how it never bothered her, it didn’t bother him either normally. Or he was just being a little cutie romantic.
However, they were doing this whole cute date night thing, dressing up and going to the lake. She wondered if he was just going to ravish her in the cave-like how he was going to the first time they were there but were annoyingly interrupted by the pack. Her clit tingled at that, and her thighs tightened in response.
Damon lowered his face to hers. "Stop thinking dirty thoughts, angel. I’m barely keeping myself and Darius in check."
Aila bit her lip and nodded quietly, her cheeks heating when she heard his chuckle, and it rumbled through his chest and her body. "This is really nice, Damon," Aila said after he’d been walking through the dark, damp forest for a while.
"We’re not there yet," Damon chuckled, but Aila noted the slight nervousness radiating off him.
She wanted to ask him about it. What made the Alpha King, her mate, nervous? They’d been through so much together already.
Was he nervous that she wouldn’t like the date?
"Hey.. Whatever you’ve set up, I’ll love it. As long as I’m with you, that’s all that matters," Aila said soothingly, her hand caressing his chest.
Damon instantly leaned down and kissed her lips gently. She watched as he forced himself away, and a small smile played on her lips. Was he really listening to Nairi?
Aila shook her head and wiped his lips again, her eyes full of lust as she brushed those full, bow-like lips of his. For once, Aila didn’t have the same restraint-
"You never had it in the first place," Malia mused.
Ignoring her wolf, she wrapped her arms around Damon, legs around his waist and slid her lips against his. The last of his resolve fled, and his hands squeezed her ass cheeks, and a growl rumbled between them. It became hot and heavy quickly, arousal wrapping around them and making each of them crazy.
Their hands roamed and groped each other, mouths forcefully separating to breathe. Damon kissed her neck and nibbled along the mate mark on her chest.
Then his eyes flicked up past her shoulders as she left butterfly kisses up his neck while grinding against his erection in his jeans. He inhaled sharply, then grabbed her by the back of her neck, fixing his gaze on her, eyes glowing, calling to her wolf as well. "After," his voice was deep, majestic, revealing Darius’ control over Damon.
Aila pouted, causing him to chuckle. "Oh, you’ll get what you want. Not yet. Don’t let Damon’s efforts go to waste now."
At his words, Aila sighed, feeling a little guilty, and she nodded her head as he repositioned his pants. "Now," Damon’s voice returned, and it was a little breathless like Darius had also scolded him. It amused her, making her lips twitch, and eyes crinkle into a small smile. "Close your eyes until I tell you to open them."
Aila could tell they were at the lake now. The moon always reflected beautifully from it, but she followed his orders without complaint and felt excited by what they were going to do next. "Okay," she smiled, and a small giggle left her when he kissed her briefly.
"Don’t worry, your makeup is fine, and you still look perfect." Damon stroked down her hair a little from where he’d dishevelled it. "You’re perfect in every way."
He continued to walk, and she was more attuned to the vibrations of his large gait as he carried her. A slight ascent revealed to Aila’s blind eyesight that they were by the cave like last time. She kept her eyes closed until he told her to as he ordered.
Damon placed her down gently and slowly turned her around, his large hand sliding into hers, his large form remaining behind her as his other hand rested on her hip. "Alright, open your eyes," he whispered.
Aila released a breath, her shoulders relaxing, and she opened her eyes, only for her breath to be taken away and her lips to part at the beauty before her. The lake was alight by floating silver lanterns, the light glimmering across its navy black depths and the forest..
"Oh, my goddess.." she whispered breathlessly, staring in awe.
The forest had fairy lights scattered around the trees surrounding the lake, adding more warmth to the glow of the moon and lanterns on the lake. She turned around to look at Damon, only to pause again. There on the ground was a blanket surrounding it, and in the cave were candelabras, tealight candles, and more fairy lights lighting up the area.
Next to the blanket was a picnic basket and a bottle of wine, pillows, faux fur blankets, and a golden, standing firepit already alight.
It was so romantic.
The looks everyone had been sharing earlier made sense now. They knew what the date was. "Did you do this all or.." She trailed off.
"I had help. It was all worth it to see the look on your face."
