Hold On Mr.! Your Sweetheart is a Real Queen-Chapter 715: Did you already fall in love with me when we got divorced?
After divorcing James Shelton, she left with nothing but Erin Ginger and that ring.
For years, she wandered from place to place, not knowing where the ring was.
"I don’t know if I still have it," Daisy Ginger coughed lightly, "maybe I lost it."
"Lost it?"
Daisy Ginger pouted, "Well, it’s been years since we divorced."
The man looked at her, his gaze deep, smiling slightly, he said casually, "Then go find it. If you find it, I’ll give you the house."
"That was my house to begin with..." Daisy Ginger muttered softly, turning around to go rummage through her makeup cabinet.
She didn’t have much left over the years, changing supplies with each new place. Only the small box for her passport and ID contained old items.
Edward Stephens stood behind her, resting his chin on her shoulder socket, watching her search for things.
Daisy Ginger opened the small box, found her passport inside, but no ring.
"It’s really gone..." She paused, looking at the empty brown little wooden box, a bit surprised.
"Search again," Edward Stephens said.
"Can’t find it." Daisy Ginger shook her head gently, still a little stunned. She knew where she kept important things, if it was gone, then it was really gone.
The ring being so small and delicate, since she didn’t wear it on her hand, might have accidentally been taken out with something else one time.
"That’s really a pity," Edward Stephens said.
Daisy Ginger noticed his nonchalant tone and sensed something, narrowing her eyes, she turned to look at him suspiciously.
"What?"
"How did you know I kept the ring?"
"Saw it by accident."
Daisy Ginger said dangerously, "Edward Stephens, you’re rummaging through my things again!"
"I was bored being home alone..." he dragged out his tone.
What nonsense, as if she wasn’t home.
Giving the man a once-over, Daisy Ginger stepped forward and checked all his pockets.
The man caught her hand, chuckling lightly, "Sweetheart, if you keep searching like this, something might happen."
His tone was playful, carrying laziness, Daisy Ginger glared at him, extending her hand, "Give me back the ring."
The man lowered his head, glanced at her slender fingers, and said innocently, "You want it from me?"
"Don’t give me that crap!" Daisy Ginger glared at him, "Who else would steal a ring from my makeup box besides you!"
"Didn’t you say you lost it?"
"It was stolen by someone with the last name Stephens!"
The man burst into a low laugh, pulling her over and sitting on the sofa, resting his chin on her shoulder and gently nuzzling, drawing out his words, "If you tell me why you kept my ring and didn’t return it, I’ll tell you where it is." 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
The warm breath brushed her ear, making Daisy Ginger shiver sensitively, she pushed away his approaching head, "When did I not return it to you? I bought it with my money."
"Oh?"
"Is my house cheap or something?"
The diamond ring might be worth millions, but her villa was worth over a hundred million.
Trading the villa for his ring, he definitely profited big time.
"You still haven’t answered me, why you didn’t return the ring when I asked for it."
"..." Daisy Ginger’s chest heaved, her face blushing slightly.
She refused to speak.
The man spoke for her.
"So can I assume that you had already fallen in love with me when we got divorced?"
