Chapter 348: The meet

After finishing eating, James took his friends to go to the Eiffel tower which was only five minutes from the hotel where they were staying on foot. Lauren and the others looked very excited, in contrast to the restless Gina. Since leaving the hotel Gina felt uncomfortable.

"What happened to you?" James asked quietly, as if James could sense Gina’s nervousness.

"Me? I’m okay," Gina answered quickly, trying to act normal.

James smiled. "You’ve become more reserved after we arrived in Paris, is this your first time traveling without family?"

"Yeah, this is my first time going without Uncle and Aunt."

"Looks like your association is really strictly selected, huh."

Gina pursed her lips. "Not that strict, besides Lauren I also have close friends who often come to the house."

"Oh yeah? I thought Lauren was your only friend," James said teasingly at Gina.

Talking with James while walking made Gina’s mood improve, several times even Gina even laughed amused at James’ chatter. The air was still very cool when they arrived at the Eiffel tower, not many people had gathered in the large garden that surrounded the tower with four sturdy legs.

After arriving at the park, the students who will soon enter the world of work take a selfie together using a tripod that has been prepared in advance. The short girls were asked to kneel down, while the rest were allowed to stand, including Gina, who was almost the same height as her male friends. They did several poses before finally being allowed to do free activities, James really coordinated this holiday very well. The sense of responsibility deserves thumbs up.

"Gina, let’s get closer to the tower, I want to touch the eiffel leg," said Lauren half forcefully.

"Touching the legs of the Eiffel tower? Really?"

Lauren nodded quickly. "Really, I’m just curious. I want to know the quality of the steel and iron used to build the tower."

"Oh my God...Lauren..."

Lauren chuckled, she didn’t care about the concerned look Gina was giving her right now. The American-Mexican girl excitedly pulled Gina’s hand towards the Eiffel tower following her friends who had already walked first. Gina’s hair that fell without a tie looked even more beautiful when the owner ran. From behind Gina looks like a girl in a shampoo commercial.

Arriving at the Eiffel tower, Lauren immediately completed her curiosity. Touching the sturdy legs of the Eiffel tower, the girl occasionally tapped them with her knuckles which made Gina shake her head in disbelief at what Lauren did.

After confirming her curiosity, Lauren then asked Gina to take photos and videos of her being under the tower with a height of 324 meters. Gina, who didn’t want to spoil Lauren’s fun, patiently became the girl’s personal photographer, occasionally even directing the style for Lauren. Although there are some strange poses but Lauren still practices them, the girl really really enjoyed her vacation this time.

"Take a photo with me, Gina," said James from behind, suddenly surprising Gina who was checking the photo on Lauren’s camera.

"Hmm?"

"Photos, I want you to take pictures with me. Just the two of us," said James again. "Is it okay if I ask to take a picture with you?"

"Of course, there is a prohibition. You are nothing," said Gina amused. "Okay come on, where’s your phone?"

James shook his head slowly. "Let Lauren take our picture," he said quietly as he held out his phone to Lauren.

Lauren, who understood James’ intent and purpose, immediately grabbed the cell phone that James gave her, as Gina previously directed Lauren’s current style to do the same. The difference is that at this time what Lauren asked for style was James, several times Lauren asked James to put his hand on Gina’s shoulder or waist to make it look natural. Gina, who knew that Lauren was working on her, could only surrender and not refuse, Gina didn’t want to offend James.

Just a photo, just a few photos. Does not matter!

After being satisfied with the photo of the two of them, James then asked Lauren to take a photo, but Gina was still in the position right beside him. Gina’s warm smile completely filled James’ phone gallery right now.

After taking pictures, Gina’s feelings became increasingly uneasy, her chest felt tight as if she was being watched. Even though at this time it was clear that he was in an open area, in the Eiffel Tower.

"What happened to you?" Lauren asked quietly, Lauren seemed to be aware of Gina’s nervousness.

Gina nodded slowly. "I don’t know, I just feel uncomfortable."

"What makes you uncomfortable? James? Or the picture of you guys? If so I’ll ask James to delete it." Lauren tried to offer Gina a way out.

"No, don’t do that. James must be offended, after all this has nothing to do with the photo," said Gina quickly while holding Lauren’s arm so she wouldn’t go near James who was talking to the other friends, not far from where the two of them were standing. at the moment.

Lauren smiled. "If not for the photo then for what?"

"I don’t know, I just feel uncomfortable."

"Hey you, we just arrived in Paris two hours ago Gina. You’re not homesick, are you?" joked Lauren.

Gina pursed her lips with her arms folded across her chest. "I’m not a toddler who would immediately miss home that easily, Lauren. Don’t keep teasing me."

Lauren laughed amused seeing Gina sulk, she quickly raised her hands in the air. Position yourself to give up. "My bad, sorry," she said quickly.

"Suddenly I want ice cream, Lauren. Does anyone in this place sell ice cream?"

Lauren immediately looked around, trying to find an ice cream seller around where they were standing at the moment. "I don’t think there is, even if there was, maybe the shop would be quite far from this place, Gina."

"Hmm... what a shame."

James, who had just finished taking pictures with his other friends, approached Lauren and Gina again.

"What is the problem?"

Gina and Lauren suddenly turned to James who came back to them.

Lauren smiled broadly, realizing that luck was in front of her eyes, when she was about to open her mouth, Lauren glanced at Gina who was already shaking her head. Gave her a code not to talk nonsense to James, but Lauren was still Lauren. The girl actually smoothly made up an additional story to dramatize the atmosphere by saying that Gina’s mood would be better after eating ice cream.

Gina, who was made a scapegoat by Lauren could only smile wryly without being able to refute Lauren’s words.

"Well then, let’s look for it together, shall we?" said James excitedly, his eyes sparkling as he spoke.

"You don’t mind accompanying us?" asked Lauren in surprise, she wouldn’t have expected James’ response so well.

"Of course not, it’s not a bad idea to enjoy ice cream anyway."

"Thanks, James," Gina said in a barely audible voice.

James smiled warmly at Gina’s words which sounded like lullaby strains in his ears at this time, not wanting to make his friends suspicious of him suddenly James clapped his hands. Calling his friends to gather, when several people had arrived James also said his intention to find an ice cream seller.

Feeling that James’s idea wasn’t bad, everyone agreed, they even decided to go together. Gina suddenly tapped Lauren’s arm a few times, she was happy because her wish to eat ice cream while enjoying the view in the Eiffel tower park was about to come true.

"Don’t thank me, thank James. It seems like James really knows what’s in your heart, Gina," Lauren whispered softly teasing Gina.

"Ishhh you, lower your voice! Just watch out if someone hears it, okay!"

Lauren laughed loudly at the sound of the threat that just came out of Gina’s lips, she was really satisfied with teasing Gina today. As James and the others started to leave the Eiffel Tower, Lauren took Gina with her, inviting her to follow their friends in search of an ice cream shop whose whereabouts were unknown.

With a cell phone, James led his friends to find an ice cream shop. When they were walking on a path that had shady trees, they suddenly stopped when about twenty men dressed all in black surrounded them. Gina, who was walking behind Lauren looked confused when she saw her friends suddenly stop her steps.

"What’s the matter, James?"

"Who are they?"

"What is this?"

Whispers began to sound from Elena and her friends who were standing behind James.

James raised his hands up, trying to calm his friends. Trying to remain calm even though he looked a little nervous, it was the presence of a gun tucked into the waist of the dozens of men surrounding them that made James feel a little worried.

"What is this? Why are you all cutting us off?" James asked quietly in fluent French.

Instead of answering James’ question, suddenly the six men dressed in black approached the group of James and his friends. They tried to split the group into two until they finally arrived right in front of Gina who was gripping Lauren’s arm tightly.

"W-who are you guys?" asked Lauren aloud.

Instead of answering Lauren’s question by surprise, the six men who had split the group into two bowed their heads quickly, followed by the other gunmen who said, "Greetings, madam."
