Chapter 325: Start to panic

St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.

Two hours had passed since Massimo came and heard an explanation about Gina’s return from the two doctors who had helped Gina yesterday. Martin himself was busy talking to security, checking CCTV footage. Hoping to find some clues about Gina’s return, which turned out to be nothing because some parts of the CCTV footage had been deleted. Julian Sanders really did it neatly.

"Because the patient’s family has signed the statement letter, we cannot stop them from bringing the patient home, sir. So we apologize, we refuse to be blamed. We have done everything according to the applicable procedures," said a hospital official in response to Massimo’s words.

Massimo sighed in exasperation. "But my wife has just had surgery, her hand is still injured and you were silent when she was brought home. That was the stupidest thing the medics did," Massimo screamed hysterically.

"Watch your words, sir. We have explained before that we have done everything according to the applicable procedures, we have also explained the worst condition of the patient if she is brought home. But the family is still insistent and we can do nothing but allow them to take the patient home ," replied a senior female doctor who lost her temper, constantly blaming Massimo for making the doctor lose control.

Martin, who had joined Massimo, immediately replaced Massimo, apologizing to the medical staff who had received Massimo’s various curses, because Massimo’s condition was getting out of control. Finally, Martin decided to force Massimo away.

After a long struggle, Massimo was finally brought into the car with Martin and Darius, whose faces were covered with bruises from being hit by Massimo, who had previously rebelled and asked to be released. As if they had no pain, neither Martin nor Darius sat straight in front of Massimo who was massaging his aching head.

"We’re going straight to the Sanders’ house, Pablo. I have to take Gina home," Massimo said hoarsely.

"Yes sir."

Not waiting for orders twice Pablo then started his car and immediately went to the Sanders family’s house, all the way back to the Sanders’ house which seemed long for Massimo there was no conversation in the car. Everyone was lost in their own thoughts, including Massimo himself who chose to continue sending messages to Gina even though she didn’t reply to any messages.

In front of the Sanders family’s house, Pablo was forced to stop his car. The reason is right in front of him now, ten fully armed policemen were standing neatly, blocking the way of his car.

"We can’t go in, sir," Pablo said quietly, reporting to Massimo.

Massimo, who was still concentrating on his cell phone, immediately looked up at the front of his car, where dozens of policemen were now standing, blocking them from passing. After slamming his cell phone, Massimo then rushed out of the car and approached the policemen who stopped his car.

"Why won’t you let us in? You don’t know who I am?" Massimo snapped hard at the police who had approached him.

"Sorry Mr Massimo, we are just following Mr Sanders’ orders not to allow anyone to visit his residence."

"Fuck, what kind of ban is that? I’ve got business with Julian Sanders right now, so you’d better get out of the way before I run out of patience," said Massimo coldly.

"Sorry sir, we still can’t..."

"You, you are looking to die. You don’t know what I can do to you right now huh!!" Massimo stopped the young policeman in front of him by suddenly putting his hand on the policeman’s neck.

Seeing this, several other police officers immediately pointed their guns at Massimo which immediately made Massimo’s men do the same, pointing their guns at the police. Martin, who was still sane, immediately approached Massimo and tried to calm him down, but Massimo, who had been overcome with emotion, refused Martin’s request to remove his hand from the neck of the policeman who had previously spoken to him.

Prok..prok..prok..

Suddenly there was a sound of applause from the closed gate of the Sanders family residence.

"You’re really something, Massimo," said a young man who had just clapped his hands sarcastically without fear.

When his name was called Massimo, he immediately turned towards the source of the voice and immediately smiled coldly when he saw the owner of the voice.

"Diego Alvarez," Massimo hissed hoarsely at the name of the young man standing before him.

Diego, who had been monitoring the arrival of Massimo and his men from CCTV a few minutes ago smiled broadly when Massimo said his name, Diego slowly stepped closer to Massimo who still hadn’t lowered his hand from the young policeman standing in front of him.

"We can talk calmly without resorting to violence," Diego said quietly, touching Massimo’s hand giving him a code to remove his hand from the neck of the policeman in front of him.

Feeling no interest in the police standing in front of him, Massimo then removed his hand from the neck of the policeman who was still staring at him without blinking and immediately turned his body to face Diego without guilt.

"Where are you hiding my wife?" asked Massimo coldly straight to the point.

Diego chuckled. "Wife? Since when did you get married? Didn’t Massimo del Cano often tell the media not to marry, did he."

Massimo’s jaw hardened. "I’m not in the mood for small talk, Diego. Quickly tell me where did you hide my Gina?"

"Your Gina? Since when did my sister become yours? Remember Massimo, my sister is a free human being who is not bound by any ownership relationship with anyone," Diego answered quietly, trying to provoke Massimo.

"Diego," Massimo growled warningly. "I’m not wasting time, quickly tell me where Gina is. Why are you bringing her home? She just finished surgery, the wound is still wet, damn it!"

"Since when did you care about her? Didn’t you agree with the choice my father gave you? You didn’t forget that, did you?"

Massimo’s angry gaze immediately dimmed at Diego’s words, his memory immediately focused on the offer Julian Sanders had given him last night.

"Since you have agreed not to let us take this case, the consequence is that you have to let go of my sister, which means that now you have no right to meet, talk or touch her again," Diego said again in a voice that only Massimo could hear, Diego didn’t want to the police around them knew about Gina and Massimo’s problems.

Massimo’s eyes stared intently at Diego. "Gina is my wife, Diego. Our marriage is legal..."

"And a real man will never go back on his word, haven’t you told my father that often before?"

"Diego..."

"Go home, Massimo. As you know, my sister still needs intensive care because her wound is still wet. Don’t make a mess in this place, show a little humanity to respect my sister’s life as a human." Diego interrupted Massimo’s words again without raising his voice.

Massimo was silent, he did not respond to Diego’s words until finally Martin came closer to him and asked him to leave in front of Diego. At first Massimo insisted on refusing to be invited to go, but when Martin whispered a few words, Massimo finally agreed to leave the Sanders family residence with the rest of his men.

"Is it true that Massimo del Cano is your sister’s husband, sir?" asked the policeman who just moments ago had been grabbed by Massimo by the neck.

Diego shook his head. "Of course not, it’s just a trick. Our family is a respectable family, how could my father allow his daughter to marry a mobster like Massimo del Cano. After all, my sisters are still teenagers, they don’t deserve to be married."

The young policeman nodded his head. "I see, Massimo del Cano really is something. He’s too free to do what he wants."

"Let it be, sir, people who are insane will be like that. Well then I’ll stay, I have to go back into the house and please take good care."

"Yes young master, I understand."

Diego smiled, he slowly patted the shoulder of the policeman who had just finished talking to him before finally entering the house again. Although this time he managed to get rid of Massimo easily, but Diego had to think of another way to still make Massimo think Gina was brought home. At least until Gina arrives safely in the third country where she will be living with Patrick and his family after receiving intensive care in Dubai.
