Chapter 448: Chapter 448 Naughtiest big baby

"Make something?" he repeated, turning his head to look down at her with confusion. "What exactly are you planning? Because if it’s food, I’m not moving. And if it’s a baby, I’m definitely not mentally ready right now."

Bella lightly smacked his chest, her cheeks warming. "Not baby or food, idiot."

Leo grinned at the faint embarrassment in her voice, but before he could tease her again, she shifted, her tone turning thoughtful.

"Yeah... I was thinking about making a security system," she said softly. "Something that connects to both our phones. If anything ever happens, we can extract each other’s exact location and IP address instantly. And not just phone, maybe our watches too. Something only we can control..."

Leo blinked.

Then blinked again.

Because she said it so casually, as if she were talking about baking cookies, not building an entire high-tech private satellite-level tracking system.

His lips twitched. "Bella... sweetheart... normal couples make photo albums. You’re here planning an intelligence-grade surveillance network."

She lifted her head slightly. "So? We’re not normal."

"That," he said, sliding a hand up to the back of her head and gently pulling her down again, "is exactly what scares me."

Bella puffed her cheeks. "I’m serious."

"I know," he sighed. "That’s the problem. You’re serious, and you can actually build it."

She smacked his chest again.

He winced. "Okay, okay! Continue, Miss Hacker. Tell me how we’re going to become a two-person secret agency."

Bella frowned softly, playing with the collar of his shirt as her mind continued turning. "We can add emergency alerts, encrypted messages, maybe even a silent SOS... I want something only we know. Something no one can break."

Leo watched her as she rambled in that innocent, focused way she had when she was thinking. His fingers slid slowly through her hair, a small smile tugging at his lips.

"Fine," he said quietly. "We’ll build it."

She looked up at him in surprise. "Really?"

"Really," he murmured, brushing a thumb along her cheek.

And feeling happy with his response, Bella leaned. Her lips brushed the center of his chest, right where his heartbeat lived. Something warm and electric rushed through Leo, stealing a breath from him before he could hide it. Bella pulled back with that tiny smug smile she wore when she knew she had won.

"Thank you," she murmured softly, tapping his chest with her finger. "But even if you had said no, I still would’ve built it." Her grin widened, full of mischief and pride.

Leo’s heartbeat slipped, stumbled, then thumped hard again. God... this little woman... he thought, half defeated, half completely in love. There was someth ing addictive about her confidence, especially when she got cheeky like this. Smug Bella was dangerous in a way he secretly enjoyed far too much.

He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her tight, then suddenly dug his fingers into her sides. Bella yelped before collapsing into laughter, twisting helplessly in his hold as giggles spilled out of her again and again.

"Hahahahah—stop! Leo—stop! Lion—wolf—whatever you are!" she gasped between laughs, trying to escape but completely trapped in his arms.

"Oh? You’re calling me animals now?" he said, amused, his voice dropping into a playful growl. "Let me show you just how much of an animal I am."

With one smooth motion he rolled, pinning her beneath him. Bella let out a soft surprised giggle, her hair spreading around her face like a dark little halo. She looked up at him, breathless from laughing, her eyes shining in the dim light that slipped in through the curtains.

Leo hovered above her, his hands still caging her in, his face softened by the shadows. His gaze moved over her expression, her bright eyes, her reddened cheeks, the smile she couldn’t hide.

He leaned closer, letting his breath skim her cheek as he spoke.

"You’re becoming the naughtiest big baby I have ever known," he growled softly, his tone half playful, half warning. "And you know it’s rude to call your husband with animal names, right?"

"I am not a baby," she protested, her lips forming the cutest stubborn little pout.

Leo’s mouth brushed along her jaw in a slow, teasing glide that made her toes curl. "Big lie," he murmured against her skin, his voice deep and warm. "You’re my baby. My little bunny who likes to pretend she isn’t one."

Bella squeaked and tried to push his cheek away, but Leo caught her wrist gently and lifted it above her head, his fingers wrapping around her hand with effortless dominance. His lips traveled across her nose, then her forehead, and finally the side of her temple in soft, lingering kisses that made her heart flutter.

"Leo..." she whispered, feeling his warmth everywhere, her body relaxing under him. "Should I call you wolf or Leo?" she teased, her eyes sparkling up at him, her happiness too bright to hide.

Leo narrowed his eyes slowly, a knowing look sweeping over her face. "I can see that little bunny brain trying to provoke me."

Before she could answer, before she could even finish her smile, he dipped down and captured her lips in a smooth, heated kiss that swallowed her giggle. Bella gasped softly as his mouth moved against hers, slow but certain, guiding her breath with his. His hand stayed above her head, holding her wrist gently but firmly, while the other slid along her waist, pulling her even closer as the kiss deepened.

Her heartbeat fluttered wildly when his lips parted hers just enough for his tongue to brush hers, a soft warm touch that sent a shiver through her body and made her cling to him instinctively.

He pulled back just enough for her to gasp, her lips parting in a soft breathless sound that reminded him of a startled little fish. The sight made something dark and warm flicker inside him, and before she could even recover, Leo leaned in again and captured her lips with a deeper, hungrier kiss. His mouth moved over hers with slow, confident heat, and when he gently bit her lower lip, Bella let out a tiny sound that made his pulse throb. To him, she tasted impossibly sweet, like she was made just for him.

He brushed his lips along hers, murmuring against her mouth in a low whisper that made her shiver. "You called me lion... wolf... now this lion is going to devour his little bunny."
