His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker.-Chapter 447 Make something?
He leaned down just a little, his voice lowering, softer and huskier. "Maybe..." His gaze flicked to her lips, then back to her eyes. "A lot of kisses." He lifted his finger and lightly tapped his own lips, amused. "Maybe unlimited."
"You... you deserve it," Bella whispered shyly, her voice barely louder than a breath, and she leaned forward to give him a tiny peck on his lips. Quick. Soft. Almost like a startled bunny brushing against him before darting away.
Leo’s eyes didn’t even blink.
He stared at her as if that tiny kiss had been torture instead of reward.
"That’s it?" he muttered, his voice low, unimpressed, almost offended.
"Yes!" Bella insisted, pouting adorably as she tried to wriggle out of his arms.
Her small movements only made his hold tighten. "Don’t move," he warned, his voice rougher now, the kind of voice that sent heat up her neck. "Goodness, Bella... you have no idea what you’re doing to me."
Bella froze, her face exploding into warmth. "Then let me go! I... I’m going to sleep!" she said, wiggling even more, which only made things worse because his arms wrapped around her like steel.
"Don’t go," he breathed, sounding almost desperate for the first time. "I missed you... and you’re not even going to talk to me?"
Bella’s heart softened instantly. His voice wasn’t playful anymore. It held a hint of sadness that made her chest ache a little.
"I’m not going anywhere," she said gently. "I promise."
Leo finally loosened his grip just enough for her to shift closer rather than escape. She touched his arm lightly, still shy, still pink-faced. "But you... you need to wear something," she said softly, her eyes flicking to his bare chest before darting away again. "You’ll catch a cold like this."
Leo’s chuckle was warm and low, brushing against her skin like a soft breeze. "You’re worried about me catching a cold?" he teased, leaning closer.
"Yes!" she said, even more flustered. "Of course! You’re not wearing anything and... and it’s distracting!"
"Is it?" he asked, far too amused.
Bella covered her burning face with her hands. "Leo! You’re so shameless!"
He shifted just enough to nuzzle his forehead against hers. "Only with you, bunny."
He kissed her temple softly, slow and warm, nothing rushed, then pulled her closer until she fit against him perfectly, like she belonged right there.
"Stay," he murmured. "Just like this."
And Bella did. She tucked herself into him, shy but willing, her small hand resting on his chest while he held her like she was the most precious thing in his world.
After a few minutes, he finally let her go, and she immediately dove under the blanket like a shy little bunny hiding from danger.
Leo swung one leg over the bed, then the other, the mattress dipping under his weight. Bella’s gaze trailed after him without thinking, dazed and soft.
And then—
The towel slipped.
It happened so quickly it felt unreal. One second it was tied loosely at his waist, the next it slid soundlessly to the floor the moment he stood up straight.
Bella froze.
Her whole body stiffened under the blanket, her fingers clutching the edge as if holding on for dear life. Only her eyes moved, widening and widening, round and shocked, absolutely glued to the sight in front of her.
He wasn’t fully naked. He still had his black briefs on. But seeing him suddenly like that, broad back glistening slightly from his shower, muscles shifting as he reached down to pick up the towel... it was too much for her poor heart.
Oh god... oh god... oh god...
Before she could even look away properly, Leo bent down without a hint of shame, picked up the towel, and draped it casually over his arm. He didn’t even glance back. He just walked toward the wardrobe with relaxed confidence.
And Bella couldn’t help it, she was unable to look away. He was so fine.
"Stop staring at me like a little creep, bunny," he said in that maddeningly calm voice, as if her soul wasn’t currently leaving her body. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
Bella felt heat blast across her cheeks. She kicked her foot under the blanket like a flustered kitten caught stealing treats.
"I... I’m NOT staring!!!" she shouted, her voice embarrassingly squeaky.
"Mm-hmm," Leo hummed, opening the wardrobe, his shoulders shaking slightly in silent laughter.
"I wasn’t!" she insisted, waving her hands wildly as if she could erase what just happened.
"Sure," he murmured.
"You... you’re so shameless!"
"And you’re very loud for someone who ’wasn’t staring.’"
Bella wanted to throw a pillow at his stupidly perfect back. Instead she covered her burning face with both hands and made a small, dying noise while Leo smirked at the row of neatly pressed shirts, fully aware of the effect he had on her.
After pulling on a soft grey shirt and loose black sweatpants, Leo walked back toward the bed. He switched off all the lights, letting the room fall into a warm, calm darkness where only the faint outline of his shoulders was visible.
He climbed onto the bed and, without saying anything, slipped an arm around Bella’s waist and pulled her on top of him as if it was the most natural thing in the world. Bella’s breath caught for a moment before she let herself melt against him, resting her head on his chest. The steady beat of his heart thumped softly beneath her ear, warm and comforting, like something she could fall asleep to.
His hand rested lightly on her back, his touch gentle but possessive, and Bella felt her fingers curl into the fabric of his shirt as she listened to the slow rhythm of his breathing.
"Leo?" she whispered in a small voice, lifting her face slightly against his chest, her words brushing softly over his skin.
"Hmm?" he muttered, half curious, half lost in the feeling of her curled against him, already starting to feel sleepy.
"I think we need to make something," Bella whispered.
That woke him a little. His brows pulled together as he stared at the ceiling, trying to decode her mysterious tone. Make something? His mind jumped through possibilities like a tired man flipping channels. Baby? Breakfast? Some cute little craft project she saw online? Why did this sound like the beginning of a long night?
