Hero Hack: Reversing Heroes and Raising Harem-Chapter 67: Impakto’s Big Boom Energy
Chapter 67: Impakto’s Big Boom Energy
"Impakto!!" Razorwaltz screamed.
She ran alongside the cabin walls, trying to get a clean view.
"Snap out of it, you freak! It’s me!"
But the mutated man couldn’t respond.
His roar was wild.
No trace of speech or control left in him.
He slammed through another cabin wall with a half-phase, dragging bits of steel and torn chairs with him.
The hallway buckled but didn’t collapse.
thankfully, the train’s foundation held strong.
Still, the terror was real.
Screams echoed.
Two officers had rushed in moments ago.
Guns were drawn, shouting commands.
Impakto’s warped body blinked toward them.
Phase Charge active.
In the next instant:
BOOM—!
One officer was torn in half by the resulting explosion.
The other barely raised his weapon before three random Impact Tags on the ceiling detonated.
The area was quickly showered with flame and shrapnel.
THUD. His body dropped, unmoving.
Razorwaltz ducked behind a wall panel, biting her lip.
"Damn it. If this keeps up, the whole plan’s screwed."
She watched Impakto stagger and destroy more of the walkway.
Then she paused.
Her frown slowly shifted into a grin.
"...Or maybe not."
She chuckled low in her throat.
"The mission was to steal somthing important... not clean up after idiots." fɾēewebnσveℓ.com
She looked at the collapsing carnage behind her.
"You, Impakto... You’ll be the perfect distraction."
She adjusted her footing, and energy rippled around her ankles.
Waltz Zone—Activated.
Every movement was smooth and accelerated.
Her footwork was effortless, her body gliding past like a dancer.
She didn’t even glance back until she reached the end of the destroyed train car.
Then she looked over her shoulder and grinned.
"Goodbye, Impakto."
Her voice dripped with amusement.
"I’ll remember you... for your work."
She chuckled. "Until today."
Her eyes glinted. "So long, loser."
And with that, she vanished into the smoke.
She was heading straight toward the back of the train.
The VIP Zone.
---
Above, hidden in the metal beams, Zain smirked.
He had heard every word.
"Tch. Abandoning your partner, huh?"
He leaned forward, watching the mutated Impakto.
He destroyed another segment of the hallway.
"So their mission wasn’t destruction—it was a theft."
He glanced toward the trail Razorwaltz left.
"Interesting."
A series of dull booms echoed as more officers rushed into the car.
Zain saw one of them freeze the moment they spotted Impakto.
Then immediately vanish in a violent explosion.
He narrowed his eyes.
"Yeah... if this keeps up, a hero’s bound to show up."
He raised two fingers, activating the system interface again.
"Before I go..."

---
Zain exhaled, grinning darkly.
"Now, even if I walk away..."
"All those kills will still come to me."
He stood up, stretching once, then vanished into a nearby mirror.
"Even if a hero shows up—"
"I win."
---
Razorwaltz moved like a shadow, weaving past walls and empty corridors.
She soon reached the first section of the VIP zone.
She reached into her coat and pulled out a folded slip of paper.
It was lined with notes, faces, and a marked cabin number.
Her eyes flicked over it quickly.
"Target: Confirmed."
She darted down the corridor.
Cabin 3...
"Please don’t make me waste time."
---
Meanwhile, just as Zain was about to follow, his phone vibrated quietly in his coat pocket.
He frowned and pulled it out.
Zelia.
He answered. "What’s the matter?"
Zelia’s voice came through, tight and worried.
"What happened? Why are there so many explosion sounds coming from the front cars?"
Zain glanced briefly back toward the chaos behind him.
It was where smoke still trailed faintly through a cracked doorway.
"Don’t worry, sis," he said calmly.
"One of the villains went berserk. Explosive-type."
He walked as he talked.
His eyes tracked Razorwaltz’s trail from the upper railing.
"He’s blowing up everything in sight."
Zelia’s voice dropped.
"Are you okay, Zain? You’re not hurt, right?"
Zain chuckled softly.
"Don’t worry, my big sister."
"There are plenty of officers. Some heroes are probably on the way too."
He paused at the corner of the VIP corridor and smiled faintly.
"You know me. I know how to take care of myself."
Zelia hesitated. "...Okay. But be careful."
"Always am," Zain replied, tone playful.
Then, more quietly: "Goodbye for now."
He hung up and slid the phone into his coat.
His eyes narrowed as he caught movement down the hall.
Razorwaltz disappeared into one of the luxury suites.
He stepped forward.
"Now..."
Zain smirked.
"Let’s see what you’re after."
---
Razorwaltz slipped into the VIP cabin silently.
Inside, a well-dressed man was asleep on the reclining sofa.
His breathing was slow, completely unaware.
Her eyes scanned past him.
It landed immediately on the briefcase on the nearby table.
Black. Reinforced. Secure.
She smirked.
"This must be it."
She walked forward slowly, not even bothering to check the man.
Her fingers wrapped around the briefcase handle and lifted it.
Heavy.
Definitely not empty.
She turned it over and quickly inspected the latch.
Her brow furrowed.
A digital lock.
No biometric panel. No password input.
Just a sealed, coded mechanism embedded deep into the alloy.
"Tch."
She frowned, jiggling the latch with two fingers.
"Locked."
A beat of silence.
Then her smirk returned.
"...Which means it’s important."
She stepped back toward the door, briefcase in hand.
"My mission wasn’t to open it."
She turned toward the corridor.
"It was to take it."
She slid her foot backward, ready to leave.
"I’ll just deliver this, get paid, and let the chaos at the front do the cleanup."
Her eyes flicked back toward the sleeping man one last time.
"Thankfully you’re asleep," she muttered.
"Or I might’ve had to cut off your head just to be safe."
She grinned faintly.
"Lucky bastard. You get to keep it today."
