Her Dark Desires-Chapter 61: Eliana’s Video on Sloane

"So Amber isn’t the real daughter?"

"What does she mean her child was taken?"

"How could Sloane lie about her real daughter?"

Whispers filled the hall, and Amber looked to her mother for help, but Sloane didn’t even spare a glance at her.

Despite everyone’s whispers, Sloane smiled and said, "You are right. You are my daughter, and Amber is just the daughter of a nobody; you are completely right, okay? I will agree to everything you say right now but you must promise me that you will go back to seeing your psychiatrist. I can no longer keep up with the crazy things you say."

"Are you calling me crazy?" Eliana asked in disbelief.

"Does Zach know you are no longer seeing your psychiatrist?" Sloane asked and suddenly gasped "Don’t tell me that he doesn’t even know that you see a psychiatrist. A relationship that does begin with honesty won’t go well, dear."

Eliana looked at her dad and asked "Won’t you say anything? She is saying that I am crazy and you aren’t saying anything?"

There was sadness in Henry’s eyes as he said, "Your Mom is right, you should go back to seeing your psychiatrist."

Eliana smiled sadly and said, "You have always supported Sloane in all her ways, and even now, it’s no different. I feel sorry for you dad, you keep supporting a woman who doesn’t give a damn about you. A woman who didn’t hesitate to screw another man in your house and on your bed when she thought no one was home!"

"Eliana," Sloane screamed and slapped her.

Eliana touched her slapped cheek and, in front of everyone, slapped Sloane twice as hard. "Don’t you ever lay your filthy hands on me! Are you upset that I told the truth, or will you say I’m saying crazy things again? Should I send Dad the video?"

"You took a video?" Sloane asked in disbelief.

Eliana smiled crazily and said "I took a video. Don’t give me that angry look, Sloane; you have to imagine my shock when I saw my elegant, graceful, and cold mother humping like a cowgirl on another man. Dad, you are also shocked, right? But then again, how else did you think a man like Jerry Houston would have invested in your business, especially when you and I both know that you weren’t that worth it."

"That’s enough!" Amber shouted; she looked at Eliana and asked, "Is this what you want? To humiliate your own family in front of everyone."

Eliana sneered in disgust and asked "Are you lecturing me? What a joke!"

Amber could not explain the inferior feeling she felt as Eliana sneered and looked at her in disdain and the worst was that no one was ready to support them or so she thought until she heard David Lennox saying

"Mrs Sanders, it’s obvious you have unresolved conflict with the Moore family. However, I must ask you to be careful of your words regarding Amber, who is to become my future daughter-in-law."

Cecilia rolled her eyes while Jason looked away. He couldn’t bear to see the disappointment that would be in Eliana’s eyes.

"Not everyone knows this, and this is also not how I would have liked to say this, but within a few months, I will be a grandfather."

"Grandfather?" Eliana whispered softly and slowly turned to look at Amber "You are pregnant?"

"Jason is the father, and very soon, he and I, with our baby, will be one family," Amber replied, placing her hand on his belly.

Eliana’s gaze went to her belly, and she remembered her little treasure that was taken from her. "Let’s just hope yours stay longer than mine did, Amber."

Amber flinched when she heard those words. Why did it sound like a threat? Could it be that Eliana knows? Come to think of it, she did say I took her child then that must mean she knows, but how? Mason would never betray me, so how did she find out?

At this point, Amber’s breath had already become heavy, and she was finding it difficult to breathe. She suddenly felt so suffocated as she thought of whether Eliana knew the truth or not.

"Eli, it’s time for us to go." Zachary Sanders, who has been silent the whole time, suddenly spoke out.

Eliana looked at him and nodded; she ignored everyone’s eyes that were on her and walked to him.

The first thing Zach did when she came to his side was to caress her cheek, which was slapped by Sloane.

"Does it hurt?"

"No, not after I slapped her back twice as hard," Eliana replied with a smile.

Zachary held her hands and said "You did well. I’m proud of you."

Hearing Zachary compliment his wife for slapping her mother made every guest in the hall speechless.

Sloane felt so humiliated, and she could feel Henry’s eyes on her. Henry has never looked at her like this in all of their years of marriage; he has never looked at her with so much disgust.

She was going to be on all of these women’s lips, she could already hear their whispers and taunts, and it was all because of Eliana.

This is the second and last time I will be humiliated by you, Eliana because I promise you that there won’t be a third. I will make you suffer even more than Stella did.

Zachary had asked Ethan to go home, saying he would be the one to drive.

"I can’t believe she is pregnant." Eliana softly whispered, focusing on the view outside.

"It seems she got pregnant for Jason intentionally because Henry wanted her to marry ..." Zachary was cut off by Eliana saying

"She can’t be pregnant, not after taking my baby from me. She doesn’t deserve to be pregnant." Eliana kept whispering to herself, making Zachary stop the car.

"Eli, look at me." Zachary gently coaxed.

Eliana turned to look at him and Zachary could not explain the pain he felt in his heart when he saw her watery eyes. "She will pay for what she did to us, you have to make sure of that. Right now, what do you think Amber wants the most?"

"To become Jason’s wife and the daughter-in-law of the Lennox family," Eliana replied.

"Good. Now that you know this, what is the next step you have to take?"

"I should ensure she doesn’t get married to Jason but instead to Nolan."

"And do you know how you are going to do that?" Zachary asked gently.

Eliana gave a soft nod and said, "I have an idea, and seeing the way Cecilia looked at Amber with hatred, I’m sure it will work."

"Ok. Amber won’t get her happy ever after. She will receive a slow and painful punishment, and one of the ways you punish a person is by snatching something they already thought they had. You can do that, right?"

Eliana nodded and received an affectionate kiss on her forehead from her husband.

"I know you can."

Zach gave her one last kiss and started the car only for Eliana to suddenly shout for him to stop.

He was surprised when she came down from the car in a hurry.

Zach immediately followed after her and slowly stopped walking when he saw what she was doing.

"Look at you, you are so small," Eliana spoke gently as she carried the whimpering puppy into her arms.

Zach frowned at the way the dog looked so thin and small and said "Eli, he might not survive."

"I think it’s a golden retriever, I have seen one like this when I was a child," Eliana said, ignoring Zach’s words and cuddling the little puppy instead.

"Eliana."

"He looks so frail, we should take him to a vet." Eliana said, finally looking at Zach, and added, "Please, Zach."

How could he say no when she was looking at him like that? His only fear was that if the dog died, then her mental health would worsen, but if it survived....

Zach sighed and said, "Let’s take him to a vet."
