Help! I'm in Another World and the Dragon Man Want Me To Get Pregnant!-Chapter 19: Sharing a Meal
Chapter 19: Sharing a Meal
"We have a bath here, and the bed is clean. Once we drop off our things, how about we go eat first?" Ignatius asked.
"Ah, yes. By the way, you mentioned yesterday that we're out of food? What are we going to do about that?" Shen Xinghui finally asked, having wondered about it for a while.

He was hoping to do something in return, even if it was something small.
Ignatius thought for a moment. "Ah, that's right. I'll buy some ingredients, and we can use the kitchen here to make something simple."
"Well, if that's the case, I can—"
"Hmm?" Ignatius raised an eyebrow, looking at Shen Xinghui, who was hurriedly trying to explain.
"I'm good with housework. I can cook too, at least well enough to manage. So, if you don't mind, I'd like to cook for us."
"You sure? It's a bit of a hassle."
"I really want to do this. It's the only way I can repay you right now. Besides, I also want to do something myself."
Shen Xinghui persisted, his desire to repay Ignatius's kindness clear.
While he genuinely wanted to show his gratitude, he also just wanted to see Ignatius smile.
When he smiled, his usually sharp features softened, revealing a childlike innocence.
Seeing that made Shen Xinghui feel like he could contribute in some way.
"It's not necessary, really," Ignatius said, though he smiled a little. "But... actually, I'd appreciate it. I can make simple meals, but when it comes to something more complicated, I can't manage. Plus, I tend to make the same kind of dishes, so it gets boring."
Ignatius chuckled lightly and handing the responsibility over to him.
Shen Xinghui beamed with joy and nodded his head enthusiastically.
That night, they ate in the dining area on the first floor.
Shen Xinghui had stew and bread, while Ignatius had a much larger meal.
Along with his stew and bread, there was a salad, steak, and even alcohol—everything he had seemed to be in larger portions than Shen Xinghui's.
"Are you sure that's enough, Xinghui?" Ignatius asked, noticing the difference.
"I'm full enough," Shen Xinghui replied with a smile.
The innkeeper, who had been nearby, chuckled and placed a large glass of alcohol in front of Shen Xinghui.
"Ignatius, Humans and Dragon Man have different appetites," the innkeeper explained. "He's eating a perfectly normal amount of food for a human."
Ignatius laughed sheepishly. "I guess I've been using my own standards to measure things."
Shen Xinghui couldn't help but feel a little bit more at ease as he watched Ignatius eat with such enthusiasm.
It made him feel like his efforts to cook had been worth it.
He was energized and determined to do his best the next day.
"Ah, by the way, Mr. Bruno," Ignatius said, turning to the innkeeper. "I'd like to use the kitchen tomorrow, if it's available?"
"Of course, feel free. If you'd like, I can make something for you again," the innkeeper who is named Bruno replied.
