Help! I Think We Summoned A Demon King-Chapter 48: Lord Hero With The Staff
"I want you to do something for me, Kaelara."
"Anything, master."
"As always, keep what happens between us, just between us. And also..."
"After you return and have freshened up in the morning... I want you to pay a visit to your friend, the princess."
"Elowen ?" Kaelara asked, showing a little surprise as she adjusted on the bed to meet Zorat’s gaze.
"Yes. You will go to her, and give her this..." Zorat said, as the same pile of documents and parchments that Kaelara had brought for him materialized in his hands, withdrawn from his spatial repertoire.
He hands the documents to her as he instructs." Try as much as possible to convince her of how trustworthy I am, and that you and I both are trying to bring the grand vizier to justice....
Say something along the lines of... You can’t stand by and watch your father cause harm anymore...."
"Can you do that ?" Zorat asked as Kaelara nodded vigorously in understanding.
"However, tell her not to do anything with the documents yet... and she should wait until after I return from the dungeon exploration..." 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
"Just tell her I have a foolproof plan to bring justice to your father... do you understand ?" Zorat said while smiling warmly at her, and Kaelara responded with deep conviction written all over her face.
Once given this bundle of incriminating evidence, the princess would surely first question her friend’s sanity for doing such a thing to her own father. But since she’s very smart, she will, of course, gladly accept them and run straight to her father, the king, with them.
But her father won’t be able to do much with only these documents, even if they do have the insignia of all the people involved. For sure, Victor, being the shrewd man he is, would raise an argument that he is being framed with forged papers.
And with more than half the royal court ministers backing him, they could draw on the case of his guilt to this crime indefinitely.
But there exist two crimes where the punishment, no matter how high-profile the target may be, is always met with execution.
And Zorat has a plan to make Victor Malverin commit one of these crimes.
The documents he will be sending to the princess were just icing on the cake; more to serve to imprint his usefulness in her mind and slowly crawl his way into her.
How many people can arrive in a world in just over seven days and not only convince the daughter of the grand vizier to go against her own father but also provide adequate proof of his atrocities?
Even the princess who’s best friends with Kaelara hasn’t been able to do that. This would create quite an impression on the princess, though whether it is a negative or positive one remains to be seen. Still, Zorat could work smoothly with either.
Now... he is curious to see if the princess would have the foresight not to immediately jump the gun and use what he was providing her to try and bring Victor down yet.
If she does, it would be quite the letdown and would simply exacerbate her own downfall, since Zorat plans to deal with her as well.
"It’s almost sun out, Kaelara. You should get going now."
Kaelara, with joy in her heart, picked up her things and headed for the exit, carefully depositing the document into her overall storage pouch.
It’s strange though... I half expected the bunny to have intruded at any time in the last hour, since I never informed her I would be heading out...
Guess she’s more independent than I give her credit for.
Would have been fun to see her reaction, though. Hehehe.
Zorat settled into a meditative pose on the wooden floor, ready to begin unearthing the runic structure of the skill he had just replicated from Kaelara.
Only that way will he be able to use it as freely as he does his Space manipulation skill.
While Zorat was now engrossed in training, a young lady with ocean blue hair and green eyes was crouched low in the corner of a four-person maidservant quarters, looking both gloomy and depressed. Her usual bubbly nature completely absent from her current state.
"What’s the matter with the treasonist’s daughter this time ?"
"Don’t know. Maybe you cursed her out too much last time ?"
"Who even cares. She’s lucky she’s allowed to hold a job in the palace, being who she is."
"Let’s go... leave the filth be for today, we have better things to do."
Two maidservants discussed openly right at the entrance of the bunkered maidservant quarters, not caring if the object of their gossip heard what they had to say about her or not.
Seeing as the subject of their bullying was already emotionally down, they became uninspired to torment her still; so they turned and left, leaving just the blue-haired girl inside.
Florielle was quite sad right now; not because of her fellow maidservants calling her names; she’s gotten quite used to that; only on days when they go extreme with it would she crack.
Instead, she’s sad, confused, and a little frightened by what she had seen about an hour ago.
Her lord hero had left to join the other heroes in training, as the knight commander requested.
About a couple of hours later, while the other heroes had dispersed, she joyfully ran over to serve him as usual, only to find that he wasn’t in the cabin.
She waited outside until it got really dark in the night, so she decided to call it a night, thinking he would for sure be back in the morning.
But after arriving in her maidservant quarters and staying for only a couple of hours, it was barely even morning yet; since she couldn’t sleep and had been worried that something might have happened to her lord hero, fearful for his well-being, she charged into the still dark night, heading straight for the cabin.
However, just as she got close to the entrance, she heard a loud, unmistakably female voice, accompanied by repeated slaps, so she assumed a woman was being slapped silly inside the cabin and screaming.
Concerned, she moved quietly because the assailant might be dangerous, and she wouldn’t want to be caught and unable to call for help.
However, peering through the crack in the doorway, the sight she beheld both made Florielle’s heart drop to her stomach and also ignited some type of fire between her thighs.
Her lord hero had what looked like a staff between his legs, as he rammed it into Lady Malverin, who was on the bed and yelling in weird ways.
Though the look on her face, for some reason, Florielle understood she was experiencing the best thing in her life.
Florielle knew what she was seeing; she’d heard of it being discussed in hushed whispers. What a man and a woman are supposed to do when they like each other.
Does this mean her lord hero likes Lady Malverin?
What about her?
And was that activity supposed to be this intense?
Can her body even take the tip of that staff?
Sad, flustered, confused, and a little frightened, Florielle ran away from the intense scene, as the sound of loud slaps accompanied her retreat.
