They continued forward at full speed. Selene carried Rayden on her back, moving fast through the forest. The baby showed terrifying endurance, not even nauseated despite their pace, making things easier for them.

They kept moving, searching for a human settlement.

But this was the same thing Callack had been trying to do for months now, and he had made no real progress. It wasn’t like they were suddenly going to get lucky and stumble into a village by accident.

Effect: detect killing intent, foresee danger, sense traps, and more.

Temporarily hardens host flesh.

Effect: reduces physical harm, increases durability.

Cost: extreme soul drain.

Warning: massive post-drain after use.

9. Ethereal Shroud

Creates a thin, almost imperceptible aura around the body, warping perception for anyone nearby.

Note: do not think of it as shining armor. You will regret that when you die.

10. Soul Conduit

Creates a channel to manage the flow of soul energy. Control, use, and drain all done through the host’s soul itself.

Can only be used once a day.
