Before the fellow could finish talking, he felt space constrict around him. It was a very suffocating experience.

He felt like the space around his cells were being constricted at a subatomic level. It was very excruciating. Then the feeling spread to every part of his being. The compression traveled from his cells outward, bones cracking and flesh folding in impossible ways.

After that, blood started flowing out of his mouth and face. Then, sounds of bones breaking started sounding. Space was crushing, pushing, and compressing them together. His face started morphing into something else. Very soon, he looked like a compressed meat ball. He was dead.

The sight was very chilling. It had only been a moment, from the time the giant attacked Kailen to the current outcome.

At this instant, several of the Giants snapped out of their fear, and shot towards him. They launched attacks, imbued with laws of lightning, fire, water, earth, wood and others towards him.

Several massive thumbprints manifested above Kailen, each made with either one of these—fire, earth, wind, water, lightning, wood, or shadows.

The palm prints blotted out the sky. They flickered with teleportation runes and disappeared. They appeared before the approaching giants. Kailen was now a rank 4 runesmith.

His spiritual power was now at the beginner stage Dao level.

Although he had not yet received the comprehensive knowledge of runemsithery level 4, he could still use his spiritual power and his already existing knowledge of runemsithery to launch several attacks.

Their attacks seemed to warp and bend, as if space itself was confronting them, until they were snuffed out completely.

The swords made of elemental energies and affinities, imbued with the law of space, did not stop. They appeared in the Giants lines of vision. Then dove into their flesh. Their skins and organs seemed to have been hollowed out unnaturally, warping and bending, until they tore apart.

They were dead. Blood flowed ceaselessly as dismembered and unnaturally shaped bodies lay strewn across the battlefield.

"Kill that human. If he dies, those weird creatures he has summoned, greatly reducing our numbers for targeting him will die too," a bellow rang across the battlefield.

Several Giants ranging from rank 4 to rank 7 beginner stage Dao level shot towards Kailen.

As for those below that rank, they were scared shitless. They were not braindead, steering clear from him and targeting weaker enemies.

"Out of the way." A sudden voice boomed like thunder. The voice of a giant rang throughout the battlefield.

Suddenly, a figure hollered across the skies. A large palmprint silhouette appeared in the sky, overlapping with the Giant’s lifted palm.

Some sort of strange energy was coming out of the large palmprint.

It was very ethereal, majestic and domineering.

The law of gravity.

Many thoughts. It was one of those extremely rare and powerful laws, very difficult to comprehend, like the law of space. However those who mastered it were very terrifying.

Kailen felt an extreme threat encumbering him. He felt like he was being crushed to the ground.

Even with the law of space, he could not escape. This giant was overwhelmingly powerful. It was as if Kailen could not go anywhere. He was pinned to the ground. Everything seemed to be in slow motion as the palm print was coming down on him. But he could not do anything. Sometimes when the gap in strength was too wide, one would simply be powerless in the face of an enemy.

The large palmprint seemed to press everything down to the ground.

Kailen’s shadow creatures shot towards the approaching palm print, releasing various attacks imbued with different laws towards it.
