Chapter 525: Chapter 525.

The moment Kailen entered the pocket world, he appeared in a region full of burning magma and flames.

Towering humanoid figures could be seen having lethal battles against one another. Some of the colossal figures had horns. Some of them didn’t.

The atmosphere was extremely suffocating as clashes, which shook the void, occurred. The sky was covered in red. He looked around. Kailen saw tall pagodas being drowned in flames. Mountains were leveled to dust due to the shockwaves from attacks.

Currently, he examined himself. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

Nothing had changed. It was his body, his affinities, everything.

He knew it. He was in some sort of simulation.

"Shit, why the hell did the Giants have to invade our territory? After everything we did for them?"

One of the colossal figures, with skin glowing with runes, yellow skin, having a horn between his eyebrows, bellowed. The fellow had three arms and three legs.

"We Asuras always repay evil for evil and good for good! We repay everything tenfold! If the fucking giants think we are a threat to them after everything we’ve done for them, after showing them extreme generosity, after giving them some of our resources to advance their Civilisations, then we will let them know we are not to be messed with. Kill them all!"

"Yes, Commander Borthorth."

Kailen listened to everything in stunned silence. He observed as Asuras, looking like Commander Borthorth but having different skin colors, clashed with the Giants.

The most eye-catching thing was that laws were used in the attacks frequently. Law of fire, law of lightning, law of water, law of wind, amongst others, were imbued in attacks.

This was a serious showdown between Dao level lifeforms. Supreme stage Dao level lifeforms to beginner stage Dao level lifeforms duked it out. The scale of this war was extremely overwhelming.

Kailen didn’t have any ID slot to draw out information about when and where he currently was.

However, what he just heard told him a lot about where he was.

"I’m in some sort of era before the Olden War. The Asuras and the Giants could only have had a falling out at a time like that. In the real world, there are no historical records I know of that point to this, possibly because this happened in an extremely distant past of the universe, and this historical moment has been forgotten, with the passage of time.

From the words of that yellow-looking Asura, Commander Borthorth, it seems the Asuras helped the Giants to build their civilizations, and the Giants decided to eliminate the Asuras after that, because they felt the Asuras were a threat to their existence. They decided to launch a sudden attack on the Asuras at a time they felt the Asuras were not prepared. But the Asuras are fighting back. The question is, ’What am I supposed to do in this simulation?’"

Just when Kailen spoke, Commander Borthorth turned to him.

"You, human prince. What are you standing there for? You better fight with everything you have and survive!"

Kailen’s eyes flashed with realization.

So in this simulation, he was some sort of ghost prince, possibly one who never existed historically. This explains why he didn’t inhabit anyone’s body, but was himself.

Also, Borthorth didn’t address him with any name. That was a clue about this simulation, reinforcing the fact that he was only given a defined identity in this simulation, not that of someone who actually existed in this historical period. It was similar to when he was in the simulation where he was called the Red Commander.

Kailen simply nodded to Commander Borthorth’s words.

He didn’t hesitate. He had learnt after countless simulations that death meant actual death. The time dilation artifact was brutal in her training. If he died in a simulation, he would actually be dead. It was not like when he had normal training sessions in the pocket world.

At this moment, a beginner stage Dao level giant, with flames imbued with the law of fire, circling around him, was wreaking havoc. The law of fire seemed ethereal and majestic, like wisps of burning majesty flowing in and out of the flames.

The havoc the giant was wreaking was heading in Kailen’s direction. The flaming giant, alongside other giants, were killing not only Asuras, but even humans, elves, and individuals from other races in the Asura City.

One of the Giants stomped on several humans and other races.

Another slammed its fingers on a child and squashed the child into meat paste. Kailen knew he had to use everything he had, else he would be next in line to die.

"Come out, everyone!" At that moment, an army of colossal obsidian shadow creatures spread across the battlefield.

They now numbered 35,000 after Kailen had broken through to the Dao level. The shadow creatures were all at the rank 2 beginner stage Dao level.

At this moment, Commander Borthorth had disappeared into the battlefield with several Asuras.

"Kill any giant that targets me! Let’s move!"

"Yes, Lord."

Kailen led the shadow creatures towards the approaching horde of giants.

One of the Giants, the one using flames imbued with the law of fire, squinted his eyes. These strange creatures and their master were no joke.

"Did the Asuras hire some mercenaries as reinforcements? This human has to die! Anyone that kills this fucker will be the next lieutenant of my fucking division!" The giant shouted. He was engaged with another Asura Commander at the moment, so he could not kill the human mercenary himself. Best to let his subordinates deal with him.

At this moment, all the Giants in his command stared at Kailen with ruthless eyes. It was as if they were looking at a grand prize, a ticket to the next level.

Kailen’s gaze was calm as a ruthless glint flashed through his eyes.

At this moment, one giant manifested lightning streams around his figure as he shot towards Kailen.

He swung a large bell made of lightning down, tearing through the void. The large lightning bell blotted out the sky as it came down. It was very lethal. It was made from the law of lightning, and it was very powerful. The law of lightning whipped in and around the lightning bell, ethereal and majestic.

The bell came down on Kailen and his shadow creatures.

Kailen remained calm. He pointed his single hand forward. His figure flickered.

Suddenly, he appeared in the sky before the lightning bell.

He was like an ant before the bell.

The giant scoffed. A mere rank 1 beginner stage Dao level lifeform dared to go against him, a rank 3 beginner stage Dao level lifeform. This human was really overstimating himself.

At this moment, Kailen just pointed his finger towards the approaching bell.

An unbelievable sight occurred.
