Chapter 511: Chapter 511. 3 years

Three weeks went by in a moment. During this time, Kailen and company used the virtual universe to train.

Kailen himself cleared both the intermediate stage galactic level towers of the Long Hai and the Kazuka training hall in difficulty modes. Naturally, he used a different persona. He was laying low and trying to improve on his strength after all, and didn’t want unnecessary attention.

His friends too had been training in the virtual universe since they could not use the spaceship to train.

Everyone was really engrossed in their training.

Finally, they arrived at their destination.

The Galaxy sat like an island beyond the scope of the low tier civilizations.

"We have arrived," one of the powerhouses escorting them said.

The spaceship went ahead to dock at a docking point at a planetary sector as they came out of the spaceship.

"The low tier civilisation headquarters of the Universe Alliance is the boundary between the low tier and mid tier civilisations," the powerhouses explained as they were currently seated in a hover vehicle.

Their gazes stretched across the sector. It was a metropolis. But it had this military feel around it. The powerhouse noticed their expressions.

She explained,

"Every sector of this galaxy is part of HQ. No solar system is wasted. There are training regions and facilities, recreational facilities, estates. This place is more like the home for those here.

But there are various departments of the Universe Alliance stretched across the star systems. The reason why this place gives you a military vibe is because no one here is weak, or below the supreme stage galactic level. Only experienced veterans are here. Do you know why?"

The powerhouse said, her gaze directed at the group at her last statement.

Their faces revealed they thought across different lines. Kailen’s face revealed he was not one to talk. It was not because he had not figured the reason out.

Reynolds said,

"This is a stronghold of the Universe Alliance. An enemy attack here will be very detrimental. Not only will they have access to high tier intelligence manned across several star systems, they will also have control over the Low tier Civilisations. It’s why powerhouses are stationed here to ensure that this place is well protected."

The powerhouse nodded.

"Mmm. But here’s the final reason. In the universe, only the strong can lead. Weaklings have no say. The low tier civilisation headquarters of the Universe Alliance cannot be full of weaklings, right?"

Everyone nodded. It made perfect sense.

As the hover vehicle stretched across the metropolis, the group witnessed a very lively yet shocking sight.

No one here was radiating a weak aura. They were all at the supreme-stage galactic level.

Although several of them were between the first rank and the third rank.

"You will be training across several star systems here in HQ," the powerhouse said to them again. She smirked lightly.

"Do you know what that really means now?"

Everyone nodded.

"Your training begins now."

Three years passed like a single breath.

During this time, Kailen seemed to have disappeared in the low tier civilisation headquarters of the Universe Alliance. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Whispers, however, spread through several areas in HQ. They were about a person.

People were saying he was difficult to read, and seemed extremely dangerous, yet strangely calm.

Kailen’s training had been relentless. He did not hide in simulations and combat duels. He did not train on convenient planets.

He journeyed to extremely dangerous worlds in HQ galaxy.

He went to planets enveloped with apex predators.

Places where storms that could annihilate continents existed, and there were extremely dangerous terrains.

He endured them all. Kailen hunted, fought dreadful creatures, and survived.

Every encounter he had sharpened his body and sharpened his mind.

Every scar was a fuel for growth and every drop of blood, every scream of beast, and every agonizing injury carved into his instincts and honed them to perfection.

Some planets blazed with volcanic fury and over there, molten rivers split continents and oceans.

On some planets, gravity crushed, winds shredded, and predators with senses beyond imagination had every thing in sight.

Kailen walked among them and faced death every day, emerging stronger every time. Nothing could stop Kailen. Not even the storms, the beasts, and the deadly landscapes themselves could stop him. He had never been more determined and relentless to be strong.

His friends trained alongside him where possible, but they could not match his pace.

Even the strongest among his friends, Jackson, felt the powerful weight Kailen’s presence cast, though Kailen rarely showed himself.

During this time too, Kailen trained in the pocket world. He went through countless simulations, and fought with dreadful beasts in deadly terrains in the pocket world. In one simulation, for example, he was the founder of an interstellar mercenary group.

In the simulation, he had fought his way through a gruesome mercenary war which lasted countless years and emerged as an ultimate mercenary king, carving his way to the top across a sea of corpses.

In another simulation, he was a war prisoner who had to climb his way to the peak of an empire. He spent years backstabbing, planting schemes, poisoning experts, causing massacres, and ascended the throne. One had to know that in every single simulation Kailen went through, death in the simulation meant real, permanent death.

The countless simulations and training in the pocket world coupled with his gruesome training in the real world made him extremely dangerous and powerful.

Also, through the simulation rewards, Kailen had become a rank 3 runesmith, and a rank 3 alchemist.

By the end of three years, Kailen was not like he was three years ago.

Rank 1 supreme stage galactic level. He radiated restrained strength. But it was deadly, and could ring alarm bells in the heart of anyone that saw him. His presence was weightier than it had ever been, yet undeniably enigmatic.

Then, the whispers began. It was not by his action, not by his boasting, but by those who had glimpsed the aftermath of his trials.

Planets had been emptied of apex predators.

There were battles where the most powerful were defeated in mere moments.

Tales of Darkhaven defeating several rank 1 supreme stage galactic level lifeforms spread quietly until they finally erupted.

Even within the low tier civilisation HQ of the Universe Alliance, those who had once ignored him now began to notice him. There were subtle glances, quiet whispers, and nervous stares. The rumors preceded him.

He had become a legend, and no one had to witness him act to feel the weight of his strength.

Three years of isolation, terrifying trials, and growth beyond what anyone could have imagined.
