" Lets kick things up a notch" Kailen muttered to himself.

He remembered the movements of Old Ha during the battle between him and Jackson.

He started weaving Old Ha’s movements ,little by little,into the battle.

The young man’s movements became more unpredictable and complex, at the same time simple.

There was something extremely indiscernible about Kailen’s battle style.

It seemed familiar,yet different- Simple,yet shrouded in mystery, near to be grapsed- yet completely incomprehensible .

To put it simply ,Kailen’s battle style was unpredictable .

Old Ha stared at the young man battling his disciple with a shocked expression on his face .

" This kid... Is simply too much. He not only weaved my disciple’s battle style into his movements ,he even added mine to it too?- A battle style I spent several centuries to comprehend ?"

The old man was literally questioning his life choices.

Jackson Bloodfallen was equally shocked.

" You are really a monster . Not only have you completely mirrored my battle style perfectly,you’ve seemlessly added that of my master to it too- all at the same time incoperating them into your own battle style to create something different?"

Kailen was excited at the results he had gotten as he weaved in and out of the battlefield- akin to a dark phantom.

Each clash with Jackson revealed he was getting better and better at polishing his battle style.

The older gentleman sighed.

He had had enough of being this brat’s whetstone.

It was time to end this.

" Blood severance- Arc 1"

Large blobs of blood appeared before him, defying gravity - morphing into a crimson whirlwind of blood blades,obviously made from blood , rotating and spinning before him.

The whirlwind, containing various blades made of blood spinned towards Kailen with lethal ferocity.

The young man felt the threat packed in the attack.

It was not enough to kill him, but it was enough to defeat him and keep him lying in bed for some hours.

Katana sizzled with immolating lightning from his lightning affinity, then- elemental mirroring packed lightning merged seamlessly with the normal elemental lightning ,dancing wildly around the katana.

Jackson widened his eye.

Old Ha widened his eye.

This brat had an elemental dormant physique.

They felt it. There was no way they could be mistaken.

However ,before their thoughts could progress any further ,Kailen muttered .

" Astral Nova"

Then he swung his katana.

The air itself sizzled.

A terrifying arc of lightning tore through the air, shooting towards Jackson’s attack with terrifying ferocity.

All this had taken a while to describe, however ,from the time Jackson launched his blood severance-arc 1 attack to when Kailen retaliated, it had taken just a couple of seconds .

Azure lightning arc and crimson blood tornado met.

A stalemate.

The air grew still.

Terrifying shockwaves spread towards different directions in the training hall .

However the room held . The training hall was made of materials that could withstand their level of attack after all.

However that was no one’s concern.

The two attacks were engaged in a fight of dominance ,only for the lightning arc to succumb,being reduced into smithereens.

The blood tornado proceded towards Darkhaven with extreme speed.

However another lightning arc followed , then another.

The young man did not remain at one place as he launched the attacks.

He moved ,weaving in and out of place to place, his silhouette akin to a phantom ,dancing on the battlefield. Each movement followed with an astral Nova.

He had terrifying reserves of worldly natural energy,inexhaustible amounts to be precise. So why why not make use of this advantage.

Yet, Jackson’s attack was not simple. Even with his terrifying attacks which left both Jackson and Ha dumbfounded ,Kailen was swallowed by the blood tornado ,or so they thought.

" Umbral replacement"

Kailen dissapeared, appearing behind Jackson , his katana leaning on the man’s throat.

" You lost, old man"

He had swapped places with a shadow creature at the last moment.

There was no way he’d let that attack hit him- He didn’t want to be injured or to be more precise bullied by this old man. Not after all the grueling bullying of the time dilation artifact.

" I see" Jackson sighed,then lifted up his hands in surrender.

The tornado having crashed into the wall at the opposite end of the hall ,let out a deafening sound before dissapearing after Jackson’s command.

" A rank 1 beginner stage ascendant lifeform able to go toe to toe with a rank 5 beginner stage ascendant level strength ?. Also you have an elemental dormant physique? The hell of a monster did that Saul give birth to?"

He stared at Kailen with eyes wide open,filled with shock and incredulity ,yet the truth was before him.

Kailen chuckled lightly.

Old man Ha approached them with surprise on his face. He stared at Kailen.

" Your father was a genius , but you are a monster . I’ve watched the videos of your feats on your planet kid. This shadow affinity of yours, is heaven defying. You are literally not just a one man army,but you can make use of it to amplify your strength to deal with opponents several levels above yours. Not only that ,you have the lightning affinity and an elemental dormant physique. Also the speed of your growth,is extremely otherworldly .

Kid,I have never seen anyone like you before. Even in the entire Astral Empire,I’m not sure there could be many that may rival your potential. On top of all this ,you are also a genius alchemist!. Kailen nodded ,not shocked at the old man’s evaluation of him. With the time Dilation artifact involved,it was no surprise he would be considered an anomaly wherever he went.

Jackson asked " Let’s settle the issue of your citizenship and incoperating earth into the Astral Galaxy " Kailen couldn’t agree more with him.

Jackson turned to Old Ha " But first, let’s follow the old man to his office for your alchemy badge"
