HDXD: Omni Harem System-Chapter 267: Let Me Wash Your Back
The bathhouse was a peaceful place, a sanctuary to relax, the steam was prominent as the serenity as well.
It's marble walls glistening with condensation, the air thick with the soothing scent of lavender and eucalyptus.
The largest pool, fed by the mansion's hidden hot springs, shimmered under the soft glow of crystal sconces, casting rippling reflections across the room.
Adam stood frozen at the threshold, his school bag still dangling from his shoulder, his tie half-loosened, his golden eyes wide with a mix of shock and something dangerously close to longing.
There, lounging in the steaming water of his own personal bathroom was Priscilla, her petite, childlike frame half-submerged, and her blonde drill ponytails floating like golden ribbons on the surface.
Her ruby-red eyes, sharp and bright as twin gems, locked onto his, a storm of surprise, joy, and nervousness all swirling in their depths.
Water glistened on her pale skin, tracing the delicate curves that her small form couldn't quite hide, and for a moment, Adam's mind blanked, the memory of her sprawled naked on his bed this morning crashing back like a rogue wave.
"P-Priscilla!?"
He stammered, his voice cracking, raw and boyish despite the weight of lifetimes he carried.
His bag hit the floor with a dull thud.
"What the hell are you doing up so early? And… in my bath? In my room, no less!?"
Her cheeks flared crimson, but her gaze held firm, sharp as a blade, though it trembled as if she was pondering her next words.
Embarrassed she sank lower into the water, her small hands clutching at nothing as if to shield herself, though the rippling waves did little to hide her embarrassment.
"Tch, don't make a big deal out of it, you idiot!"
She snapped, her voice cutting through the steam like a whip.
"I couldn't sleep, alright? And besides this place looked… cozy. So what? Sigh!... Look are you just gonna stand there gawking like a pervert, or are you gonna take off your clothes and join me?"
Adam blinked, his heart thudding in his chest, a nervous laugh bubbling up as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Priscilla, for all her tsundere bluster, had always been the strictest of his sisters, and friends.
Rakasha, Minerva, Kira, Nyla, and Rakasha split personality White, all paled in comparison when it came to discipline.
Yet beneath that iron facade, she was the most loving of them all, even more so that Rakasha's motherly nature, her childlike form a twisted mask for a heart that burned fiercer than any star.
Most tsunderes annoyed him, their hot-and-cold routine feeling like a cheap act, but Priscilla was different. Her sharp words and flushed cheeks hid a care so deep it had shaped him, molded him from a fragile human infant into the Shinso Human he was today.
The Nexus, the Singular, the Ultimate Human by Monster World standards. Her childlike emotions, trapped in a body cursed to never age, twisted her into this paradox of defiance and vulnerability, and Adam loved her for it, just as he loved all his sisters, each a woman who had carved a piece of his soul.
They where a family he never got to have in his old world.
Still he has never seen her true form, not once in the nineteen years since she had transformed him via magic, a crying baby found in a Horrian Horse stable, into something more, something beyond human, beyond even the Monster World's ancient depiction of the Human race.
Priscilla, a Shinso vampire, was no ordinary being. Like him, like Minerva, like Rakasha, she had reached the pinnacle of her race's evolution, her cells brimming with infinite Monster Energy, a wellspring of power that unlocked secrets of biology and magic most could only dream of.
Adam himself was an experiment, a human infused with Monster Cells born from probability magic to become the first, and perhaps only, Shinso Human, a being who defied the natural limits of his race.
Humans couldn't evolve into Shinso through natural means; it was impossible, a cosmic rule written in the universe laws.
But Priscilla, in her eternal loneliness, had broken that rule, turning him into a walking contradiction entity, much like herself.
Her true form, though, was something else entirely. Shinso vampires, by their nature and physiology alone where sensitive to the Astrum's ebb and flow, as such were the Monster World's most magic-attuned species, their power rivaled only by the gods themselves when it comes magic.
Priscilla's true form wasn't just a transformation; it was a Subjective Law of the Universe, a force so potent it could reshape reality itself.
But that power came at a cost. Echidna, had confirmed it, and Priscilla herself had admitted it in a rare, unguarded moments some years back to him.
Her true form brought chaos, destruction, havoc. It was a curse, born from the sin of diabolism, devouring her own brother millennia ago, a crime that had chained her to this childlike prison, her emotions stunted, her power leashed.
She was a paradox, a half-spirit, half-biological being who could unravel worlds if she let herself go, and so she stayed locked in this weaker form, a prisoner of her own guilt, her own fear of the chaos she could unleash.
Adam's heart ached for her, even as his pulse quickened at her words. He loved her, not just as a sister, but as a woman, a force of nature who had given him everything.
Without her, he would never have become the warrior he is today, muchless one at the very least strong and skill enough to pulling off the feat of banishing Vileth to the Monster World, hell he wouldn't even have Memory Point to rewrite fates if it wasn't for her.
For these reasons, among many others, he wanted to know her, to bridge the gap between them, to one day lift the curse that bound her so. Tonight's date was a start, a chance to see the woman behind the tsundere mask, to understand the pain she hid so well.
He smiled, soft and genuine, his golden eyes catching the steam's glow.
"You sure you want me to join you, Pris?"
He asked, his voice teasing but filled with warmth.
"I mean, you're already hogging my bath. Don't want to crowd you or anything."
Priscilla's eyes narrowed, her blush deepening as she splashed water at him, the droplets scattering like tiny stars.
"Tch, shut up, you idiot!"
She snapped, her voice sharp but trembling with nervous energy.
"Just get naked and get in here already! I'll… I'll even wash your back, okay? Don't make me say it twice, you brat!"
Adam laughed, the sound warm and rolling, filling the bathhouse with a lightness that felt almost sacred.
He kicked off his shoes, his cape fluttering to the floor as he unbuttoned his shirt, his movements casual but he would be lying if he said he wasn't getting a little bit excited.
"Alright, alright, no need to get all tsundere on me."
He said, his grin widening as he tossed his tie aside.
"But you washing my back? That is a first. Gotta say, I'm intrigued, as I am confused and suprise."
Priscilla huffed, sinking deeper into the water, her ponytails bobbing as she turned her head away, though her eyes flicked back to him, betraying her curiosity.
"Don't get any weird ideas, you pervert."
She muttered, her voice softer now, almost shy.
"It's just… practical. You're all sweaty from school and whatever nonsense you got up to with that vampire girl. Hmph. You smell like her, you know."
"..."
'... Of course, shit of course, if Moca could smell Priscilla on me, why can't she smell Moca on me as well... Shit...'
Adam began to internally panic a boy, but decided to play it cool by chuckling a bit stepping out of his pants and easing into the pool, the warm water enveloping him like a second skin.
He settled across from her, keeping a respectful distance, though his eyes never left hers.
"You sound jealous, Pris."
He teased, leaning back against the marble edge, his arms spread wide.
"First Moka, now you. What is it with vampires and sniffing me today?"
Her cheeks flared again, and she splashed him harder this time, the water hitting his chest with a satisfying smack.
"I'm not jealous, you idiot!"
She snapped, her voice rising.
"I just… don't like it when you reek of other vampires okay? It's gross, also smell for us is kind of peeing for dogs when they mark their territory. And I'm your sister, so I am allowed to care!"
Her words were sharp, but the way her eyes softened, lingering on him, told a different story.
Adam's grin faded into something softer, his golden eyes searching hers. He wanted to reach out, to pull her close, to tell her she didn't have to hide, not from him atleast.
But he knew her, he knew the walls she has built was many, and breaking them down would take time.
So he played it safe, and answered back with.
"You don"t have to worry about me, Pris." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶
He said quietly, his voice steady but warm.
"I'm here with you. And tonight… I am really looking forward to our date, our last one was years ago. Still am excited to see wherever you're taking me, whoever you want me to meet, it is gonna be something epic, isn't it?"
Priscilla's eyes widened, her blush spreading to her ears as she looked away, her small hands clenching beneath the water.
"Tch, don't get all sappy on me boy."
She muttered, but her voice trembled, and for a moment, her ruby eyes glistened with something deeper, hope, maybe, or the ghost of a wish she had buried long ago... Her desire for true affection.
But that aside she jump out of the water and said.
"Just… sit still, okay? I said I will wash your back, so turn around, you big dummy."
Adam obeyed, turning to face the marble wall, his heart pounding as he felt her move closer, the water rippling with her approach.
Her small hands, surprisingly strong, pressed a cloth against his back, her touch gentle but firm, and for a moment all his worries became irrelevant at her touch.
