Has Big Shot Fallen in Love Today?-Chapter 946: Sometimes I Really Hate You
After Gu Jiahui left, Sheng Tang returned to the restaurant.
Gu Shiyan was going home in the evening, and left after dinner.
"... Save a room for me tomorrow, running back and forth is indeed troublesome. I’ll visit home in a few days." said Gu Shiyan.
Sheng Tang responded, "Okay, there are two suites left, one for you and one for my senior."
Ding Ruifan also wanted to go home after dinner but ended up chatting with the director, finding the conversation interesting and was reluctant to leave.
He genuinely liked the subject matter.
After the meal, everyone dispersed. Sheng Tang moved to the hotel cafe with the producer, director, and Ding Ruifan to talk.
"This play, we’re shooting for 18 weeks initially, that’s four months." the director said, "In the first 10 weeks, we’ll complete the studio scenes, and in the last 8 weeks, do four weeks of location work in the desert, four weeks at Kunlun Mountain."
"Kunlun is in Xinjiang." Ding Ruifan noted.
"Right, so we decided to shoot at Kunlun in the hottest months of July and August, there would probably still be snow, perfect for cooling off; then go to the desert in September when it gets cooler," the director said.
"This won’t be such a hardship." Ding Ruifan was quite pleased.
"We’ll try to make the filming enjoyable for everyone," said the director, "The budget is very ample, we have four assistant directors who will organize in advance, so it won’t delay you and Tangtang’s schedule."
Ding Ruifan smiled.
He felt really good about this crew, it made him happy.
It was quite late, his youngest daughter called to ask if he was coming home tonight.
Ding Ruifan was reluctant, "I have to go."
Sheng Tang saw him out.
She then turned back to chat with the director and producer until it was 11 p.m.
"Get some rest early," Sheng Tang said.
The group dispersed.
Sheng Tang changed into a new outfit of baggy jeans and a long-sleeved T-shirt, put on sunglasses and a mask, ensuring no one was lurking downstairs before quickly getting into a car waiting at the door.
The car waited for ten minutes, and indeed there was no tailing, heading towards Gu Shiting’s small apartment.
This little apartment seemed specifically designed for Sheng Tang.
She often had to film at this studio, which was very close to his place.
They got out of the car cautiously and entered the apartment.
All was calm along the way.
Once inside, Gu Shiting kissed her.
Sheng Tang was still wondering if the curtains were drawn, caught a glimpse of the dim room — Gu Shiting must have come back earlier.
Sheng Tang was almost breathless, there was a strange feeling: it was the first time kissing Gu Shiting, feeling like kissing a mature man, not a boy.
An arm tightly encircled her waist, slightly lifting her, bringing her closer.
For a long time, he paused.
"Tangtang." His teeth gently bit her cheek, "Sometimes I really hate you!"
When seeing that photo, he was filled with rage. Rage that went to the bone, wishing he could lock her in the basement of his house.
Though, seeing her wearing the ring brought him satisfaction.
Basically, she should be his, only his, without any doubt. What Gu Shiting needed was this certainty, unquestionable certainty. Now, he had it.
Sheng Tang held onto his shoulders, stood on tiptoes, and pecked his lips lightly, "Still hate me?"
Gu Shiting bent slightly, lifting her up completely.
No longer hates.
Having seen you, there’s no hate anymore.
Or perhaps, never hated, just couldn’t bear to hate you.
