Has Big Shot Fallen in Love Today?-Chapter 947: Boy or Man?
That night, Sheng Tang once again slept embraced by Gu Shiting.
After taking a shower, he held her in his arms and softly said, "You’re so thin!"
"As an artist, you have to be this thin," Sheng Tang replied. "I haven’t had a full meal in a long time."
"It’s very tough," Gu Shiting said, "Once this movie succeeds, you can switch to production, make money as well."
"Do you think it will succeed?"
"It definitely will," Gu Shiting said, "Since the time you were in school, you’ve always been confident in what you do. Plus, you’re very capable."
He admired her wholeheartedly, trusted her, even if the whole world doubted her.
Sheng Tang snuggled deeper into his embrace.
She slightly lifted her face, and Gu Shiting’s kiss landed on her lips.
They talked for a long time. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Regarding Sheng Tang’s movie, she explained to Gu Shiting and even recommended that he read the novel, saying it would be excellent.
Gu Shiting agreed.
He asked Sheng Tang, "When you’re filming here, can we see each other once a week?"
"Hmm."
"And when you head to Xinjiang for on-location filming, I’ll come visit the set," Gu Shiting said, "that summer during your senior year of high school, if I hadn’t rushed to earn that 20,000, I would’ve planned to take you to Xinjiang for a vacation."
She nodded with a serene smile, "Okay, you’re welcome to visit the set."
She was a bit tired and began to drift into sleep.
Gu Shiting, however, remained awake.
He recalled how, in his youth, he always thought about marrying her, eager to wed her early.
He thought the only barrier to marrying Sheng Tang was age.
Now, he didn’t dare to dream.
Not just marriage, even a public relationship was impossible.
People indeed change.
In the past, Gu Shiting thought marrying her, holding hands publicly at school, was a must. If she disagreed, he would sulk.
Now, he felt this was nice too.
Keeping it a secret from everyone, her parents, her fans, they enjoyed this stable yet private happiness.
A kiss landed on the top of Sheng Tang’s head.
The following day, Sheng Tang woke up early.
She glanced at the time; it was only seven thirty in the morning, and Gu Shiting was already gone.
If it weren’t his room, Sheng Tang would have suspected she was dreaming.
"A night has passed," she thought.
Sheng Tang still felt he was pure-hearted.
Smiling at the mirror, Sheng Tang brushed away those thoughts.
Meanwhile, Gu Shiting, who went out to buy breakfast, returned.
"You’re up so early?" Gu Shiting noticed she was already dressed and didn’t want her to leave, "You can sleep a bit more."
"No, I should eat and then head to the film set," Sheng Tang said.
"Do you have a scene this morning?"
"No," Sheng Tang smiled.
Her role this time was minimal, only about ten minutes. Although the Kunlun Goddess was central to the storyline, she only appeared for those ten minutes.
This was even less than when Sheng Tang played a minor role.
Nevertheless, she didn’t need to wear makeup and wait on set every day; the director had consolidated her scenes into one day.
However, as the owner of the production company and sole investor, she needed to be present every day.
She wouldn’t interfere, but she needed to stay informed.
