Gravity Mage with Level-Up System-Chapter 1266: Part 2: Milo’s plan
From MC’s Perspective:
After attending the classes, I began looking for rooms. There are a lot of empty rooms available on the second floor, so I went there to check.
The rooms are wide and spacious, but I’m having this feeling that someone is watching me. Yet the system made no warning.
A cold sweat appeared on my forehead. The Special Mage Department is not ordinary. Who knows what existence is hiding in this tower?
So I made up my mind not to use the Gregor Mansion here. I don’t want to be seen by anyone. Then I ended up picking the last room in the corridor.
After selecting the room, I returned to Elder Paul Lin to get room key access. After getting the key, I started making the arrangements inside the room.
Meanwhile,

Council Elder Milo returned to the True Elements Society, but there was no smile on his face. He agreed to complete the task. Until then, he won’t have sleep.
He casually came to the dorm building where Vincent Carey stays. His eyes gazed at the damaged side.
A quick gleam flashed in his eyes. He had heard the news as well. The rumors were going around that a magic spell cast by a student went awry.
Milo shifted his gaze from that to the entrance. Suddenly, he spotted the first-year students of the Beast Taming Department.
A bright smile appeared on his face.
He immediately called out to them. More than four students appeared. The rest of them had gone somewhere.
"Are you guys friends with Vincent Carey?" he asked.
"Vincent Carey!"
"No, he is the enemy of our Beast Taming Department."
"Nobody likes him."
The students voiced their dissatisfaction.
Milo smiled and said, "Some of you might not know me. I’m the Council Elder of the Beast Taming Department. My name is Milo, a Level-9 Wizard."
Gasp!
The students sucked in a cold breath of air. Some of them are only Level-7. It’s not easy to reach Level-8, let alone Level-9.
Immediately, everyone’s eyes turned respectful.
"Ha...Ha...Ha..."
Milo saw their reactions before letting out a small laugh.
"Don’t worry; you guys will reach there one day," he added.
"But I have come here for an important reason. I heard Vincent Carey has been causing problems. What are you guys going to do?" Milo asked.
Everyone knows that there is tension between Vincent Carey and the two departments, Bloodline Beast Department and Beast Taming Department.
"Council Elder, we want to teach him a lesson."
"But we fear that the Elder behind him will take action," one of the students said.
A quick glint flashed in Milo’s eyes.
He took out a magic scroll from his storage bracelet. The first-year students’ gazes fell on it.

"It’s called a Magic Scroll. It has a binding spell inscribed in it. If someone uses the scroll against the target, the targeted person will be bound for the next 24 hours," Milo said with a smile.
Hearing that, everyone immediately believed it. The first thing that came to their minds was to use it against Vincent Carey.
Milo saw through their reactions and smiled. He had wanted this effect, but he lied to them. There is no binding spell in it. Rather, a powerful Level-9 Magic Spell was inscribed in it.
He had this magic scroll for personal safety reasons, but he didn’t expect to use it against a mere Level-6 Wizard.
Upon activation, the Level-9 magic spell will destroy the place and anyone near it. Even if the first-year students used it, they wouldn’t escape the aftermath.
Vincent Carey will die, and they will die along with him.
"Council Elder, we want this magic scroll. With it, we will teach Vincent Carey a good lesson," one of the first-year students said.
They are Level-7 Wizards, but they completely believed the Council Elder’s words like children.
"Okay. I will give it to you. But don’t try to open it. If you do, the magic spell will disappear. Use it when the target appears." After saying that, he gave them the magic scroll.
Milo then asked about Vincent Carey’s activities. After learning that Vincent Carey might appear for dinner at the canteen, he asked them to take action at that time. The first-year students agreed.
Then Milo spoke a few words before leaving the spot. He couldn’t help but crack a grin. He thinks it’s an easy job, like he said before, to kill a mere Level-6 Wizard.
He doesn’t have to take action personally.
In an hour or two, he might hear the news of Vincent Carey’s death.
Meanwhile,
When it was dinner time, I left the room and went downstairs. Soon, I appeared at the gate and walked out of the Special Mage Department after scanning the I.D.
I started walking towards the dorm building. I thought I wouldn’t be coming back, but the food made me return.
About 20 minutes later,
I returned to the dorm building and headed towards the canteen. When I appeared in the canteen, many gazes fell on me.
As usual, the gazes were mixed. I ignored them and received food from the counter. After picking up the plate, I found an empty table nearby to sit down.
Then I placed the plate on the table before starting to slice the mana meat into small pieces.
With the other hand, the students looked for a moment before minding their own business.
But one particular group never averted their gazes. They are first-year students of the Beast Taming Department. They had been waiting for Vincent Carey to appear.
Now that he was here, they couldn’t wait to use the scroll. But there were quite a lot of people here. They didn’t want to get caught red-handed, so they decided to wait.
But unnecessarily, one of them showed killing intent towards Vincent Carey.
[Ding! Warning!]
[Killing intent detected.]
A mechanical voice sounded in my mind.
Hearing that, I dropped the knife before looking around me. Finally, I saw a group of students looking at me, they were not even averting their gazes.
