Gravity Mage with Level-Up System-Chapter 1265: Part 1: Milo’s plan
The Perry Family Estate:
"Go and bring him back to me," Rhys said to Aaron Perry. Aaron Perry immediately left the estate.
When he was gone from the place, Rhys Perry’s eyes turned cold. He didn’t know whether the trash’s friends would be the same.
If both of them failed him, then he would make them die for sure.
"Rhys!"
A deep voice sounded.
In front of Rhys, the former family head Callen appeared. His gaze fell on his son, trying to see through him.
Rhys recovered his expression. He didn’t want his father to know.
Callen remained silent. But he was surprised inside. He didn’t know what his son was planning. His grandson Charon Perry was killed.
He thought his son Rhys would have caused havoc by now. Yet the first two days were turbulent. Then he became all silent.
"Father," Rhys greeted him.
"What are you doing?" Callen asked.
"Nothing," Rhys replied.
"I have been trying to find some clues. Yet it appears that no one suspicious had entered the territory," Callen said in a solemn tone.
Rhys’ eyes flickered. He was so fixated on that kid who stole his black token that he didn’t pay attention to his son’s killer.
"Father, what do you think?" Rhys asked.
Callen’s deep gaze looked into Rhys’ eyes. He had been struggling to make this decision. But he thought that only if he did that could he find his grandson’s killer.
"Rhys, I think we should close my grandson’s demise," Callen said.
Boom!
Rhys was shocked to the core. He didn’t expect his father to give up.
"Father, how are you going to find the killer?" Rhys asked.
Callen’s eyes turned cold.
"I heard there was this kid from the special department who was there when the incident occurred."
"I’ll force Head Howard to interrogate him. I doubt the whole True Elements Society would stand up for that kid," Callen said.
Rhys was dumbfounded. His father’s idea was interfering with his own plan. He didn’t want anyone to know about the black token.
"Father, give me two days. Then you can do whatever you want," Rhys said confidently.
He believed that two days was enough for him to kill that kid and retrieve his black token.
A surprised glint flashed in Callen’s eyes. He didn’t know what his son was planning. Since he had asked for two days, he decided to wait and see.

Aaron Perry returned with Council Elder Milo. When he brought him to the meeting hall, Rhys Perry’s gaze fell on Milo.
"Are you Council Elder?" Rhys asked.
Hearing that, Milo shuddered. He felt the person’s gaze in front of him was unfathomable.
"No wonder Aaron addresses him as Lord," Milo thought.
"Lord, I’m the Beast Taming Department’s Council Elder," Milo replied.
"Good, Aaron has spoken about you a lot. I heard you will do all kinds of jobs for resources," Rhys said.
Milo’s eyes flashed with greed.
Rhys saw the reaction and sneered inside.
"Yes, my lord. I will do it without mistake," Milo said.
Hearing the term "mistake," Aaron’s back went cold. He didn’t know whether the madman had an appetite for another failure.
Rhys decided to talk about the topic.
"I have Supreme Resources with me. With that, you can become a Level-10 Wizard. But I want you to kill someone inside the True Elements Society," Rhys said with a smile.
Gasp!
"Supreme Resources!"
Milo sucked in a cold breath of air. He had only heard of Supreme Resources. He didn’t take the killing as seriously at all.
Aaron, who was standing beside him, was worried. If Milo failed the task, the madman would kill both of them.
"Will you do it?" Rhys asked in a cold tone.
He thought that the greedy pig in front of him didn’t take the information seriously.
Milo realized his mistake. He quickly replied, "I will do it."
"But who is the target?" he asked.
"The target is Vincent Carey. I want him dead right away. After killing him, get back his body," Rhys said.
"Vincent Carey!"
Milo’s face turned ugly. He thought the target would be some elder, but he hadn’t thought it would be Vincent Carey.
"Are they now desperate? So that they want help from a Level-9 Wizard?" Milo asked in his heart.
He thought that the Perry Family still held a grudge for the loss of quota. They wanted Vincent Carey dead from the beginning. Now they were taking their actions to another level.
Rhys saw Milo’s reaction.
"What?"
"Why are you hesitating?" Rhys asked.
"Lord, that kid is a mere Level-6 Wizard. Any one of my students can kill him."
"Don’t you think it’s a bit overkill for me to do?" Milo asked.
Hearing that, Aaron’s mouth twitched. He wanted to slap the back of Milo’s head badly. They had been fooled by that kid previously.
He feared it might happen again with Milo.
Rhys didn’t speak. But his gaze fell on Aaron. He didn’t know how Aaron’s friends were trash as well.
A hint of anger appeared in his eyes. The next moment, an invisible pressure filled the room.
Aaron and Milo’s expressions changed drastically.
"If you want Supreme Resources, do as I say. Bring back his body after his death," Rhys said.
Milo shuddered before nodding his head. For a second, he realized he had been too casual in conversation with the Lord.
"Don’t worry, Lord. I will kill that kid. He just has a little support behind him. As long as Aaron blocks, I’ll capture that kid," Milo replied.
"No, you will do it alone. Aaron will be staying here," Rhys said.
Milo was dumbfounded. He thought both of them were in this together. If Aaron was not doing the work, then what was the point of him being here?
"I have some other work for him. So don’t waste time. Go back and kill that kid," Rhys said.
Milo nodded before leaving the residence.
"Will he do it?"
Rhys then asked Aaron Perry.
"Lord, he might look lazy. But he will do it," Aaron answered.
