Global Mutation: Opening with Swallowing a Black Mamba-Chapter 434 - 435: Mixed-Blood Descendants! Exposing Terrifying Battle Records!
Gu Qijue didn’t know how long he waited before a dirty little child came forward.
Gu Qijue thought this child was here to beg.
To his surprise, her words were astonishing.
"My father is from the Undead Race, and my mother is half-Undead, so I guess I’m three-quarters Undead?"
Gu Qijue didn’t expect to be dealing with items related to the Undead Race here.
And the first person to trade with him turned out to be an Undead.
As a C-Tier Cosmic Level powerhouse, Gu Qijue didn’t need to use a Lie Detection Crystal to know this little one, who seemed to be only five or six years old, wasn’t lying.
Gu Qijue immediately asked, "Where are your parents? What do you want to trade with me?"
The little girl shook her head. "They’re all dead in battle."
After speaking, she proudly added, "My mother killed one from the Heaven-Fighting Race and more than ten from the Slave Race."
"My father killed many from the Heaven-Fighting Race, at least twenty."
As she spoke, she placed her small hand proudly on the Lie Detection Amethyst.
The Lie Detection Amethyst did not react, indicating she was telling the truth.
Suddenly, everyone around showed respect toward the little girl.
After all, the greatest honor among the creatures of Ten Thousand Races is to be able to kill one from the Heaven-Fighting Race in their lifetime.
As long as they could kill one from the Heaven-Fighting Race, life would not be in vain.
Gu Qijue slightly nodded, then placed his hand on the Lie Detection Amethyst amidst the surprised gazes of everyone, and said:
"I have killed hundreds from the Heaven-Fighting Race."
This even included the battle results of the Ice Dragon Avatar, which was, of course, permissible.
The Lie Detection Amethyst tests the soul.
Just like someone using a Battle Saber to kill three from the Heaven-Fighting Race and using a Battle Spear to kill two, saying he killed five is also no problem.
Gu Qijue’s casual remark stirred up a huge sensation around him!
Even the dirty little girl in front of him gazed at him with adoration.
Gu Qijue had his reasons for saying this.
His goal, of course, was to attract more people to inquire about his affairs, thereby learning about his trading post.
After showing off a bit, Gu Qijue began to inquire about the little girl’s situation.
"What’s your name? What do you want to trade with me?"
The little girl was not afraid of Gu Qijue and said in a crisp voice, "My name is Lin Miaoyin."
"I know some of the Undead language, but not much."
"I don’t have a place to eat, and I want to stay here for my meals."
"Besides, I can help you with work..."
As Lin Miaoyin spoke, she lost a bit of confidence.
She looked only about five or six years old, possibly as young as six or seven.
She was too small to do many things.
Gu Qijue said nonchalantly, "You can stay here, and if you wish to train, I will guide you in your cultivation."
Hearing Gu Qijue’s words, Lin Miaoyin burst into tears of joy.
Gu Qijue, having a trading post here, was evidently a top-tier powerhouse.
Following a top-tier powerhouse like Gu Qijue, she would no longer have to go hungry in the future.
Moreover, Gu Qijue was willing to guide her in cultivation so she could kill those from the Heaven-Fighting Race and avenge her parents!
In the Heaven-Fighting Universe, the Ten Thousand Races find themselves on the brink of life and death, causing heroes like Lin Miaoyin’s descendants to be neglected.
Had they been in the Star Cluster Alliance, Lin Miaoyin could have lived a privileged life on her parents’ merits.
After Lin Miaoyin, a weathered, one-armed middle-aged man came forward and handed a Stone Tablet Book to Gu Qijue.
After giving the Stone Tablet Book, the middle-aged man spoke, "Sir, this is a Stone Tablet Book from the Undead. I wish to obtain a bottle of Healing Potion."
As he spoke, the wounds on him were still bleeding.
Though he had escaped into the Underground Palace, he was evidently gravely injured and unable to receive effective treatment.
Gu Qijue casually took out a bottle of Healing Potion, and opened the Crystal Bottle Cap.
A mass of Necromantic Energy then enveloped the Healing Potion, allowing it to cover the man’s wounds.
The next moment, everyone around was shocked to see it.
The grim wound on his neck rapidly healed, and even the arm that had been severed for who knows how long had astonishingly regenerated!
This made everyone in the Underground Palace realize that the items in Gu Qijue’s trading post were better than they had imagined.
It also made everyone realize that anything related to the Undead Race would be extremely valuable in the future.
After this one-armed middle-aged man, a woman stepped forward, placing her hand on the Lie Detection Amethyst and said:
"The Heaven-Fighting Race was created by groups related to the Undead."
Many had heard of what this woman said, but everyone was unsure if this was true information.
Gu Qijue nodded slightly, took out a hundred F-Tier Energy Stones, and handed them to her.
He couldn’t confirm the information’s authenticity, only whether the person was lying.
Therefore, he paid a hundred F-Tier Energy Stones regardless of the information.
He was quite wealthy now, a hundred F-Tier Energy Stones weren’t even worth a grain of sand to him.
Seeing this woman receiving a bag of Energy Stones, the crowd buzzed with excitement.
Although information shared before is recorded on a nearby array light screen.
Many knew some of these speculative messages.
As long as they didn’t lie, and their message wasn’t previously shared, they could receive a hundred F-Tier Energy Stones.
For Gu Qijue, a person of his level, he wouldn’t even bother picking these up if they fell to the ground.
But for many who hadn’t yet reached F-Tier, or had just crossed into F-Tier, it was a substantial fortune!
People immediately began lining up, eagerly sharing any intelligence related to the Undead Race with Gu Qijue.
Gu Qijue primarily wanted to trade for items related to the Undead Race.
However, for some unknown reason, there seemed to be very few items left by the Undead Race.
Most people either traded intelligence or presented other items as a pretense for Undead items.
Eventually, a girl caught Gu Qijue’s eye.
Unlike Lin Miaoyin, this girl was a pureblood from the Undead Race.
The girl observed Gu Qijue and Lin Miaoyin for a while before speaking:
"She has three-quarters Undead blood, while your Undead blood purity is very low, barely one percent."
"Why do you collect Undead items, seek Undead intelligence, and adopt Undead descendants?"
Her words greatly surprised those around.
Many thought Gu Qijue was a major figure in the Undead Race.
Little did they know, his Undead bloodline was so thin.
Gu Qijue glanced at the girl before saying, "I need to investigate my origins and some matters concerning the Undead Race."
Hearing this, the girl slightly frowned.
However, she still took out a Stone Tablet Book and said, "I want to trade for a Healing Potion."
——
Ah!
Writing this far, I have some personal thoughts I’ve always wanted to share.
If this book hadn’t consistently been reported for being anti-human, I wouldn’t have introduced Earth after hundreds of thousands of words.
The editor asked me to write it in, or else I’d be sent to the metaphorical "little black room."
My original setup was the protagonist reviving stronger by relying on the Star-Sucking Main Tree after death.
Then, the Ancient Continent connects to Earth, filled with bizarre mutated creatures and some struggling races... the protagonist continues to devour and evolve.
The initial plan was that the three monsters deep in the sea came from the Primitive Continent.
...
I’m currently writing with a completely different plot outline.
Many exciting plots couldn’t be written as a result.
