From Human to Skeleton: Revived with Infinite System Crystals-Chapter 604 Xia
As Ty turned around, the sky turned pitch black, a sudden shift that sent an unsettling chill through his body. A massive creature emerged from the darkness, towering over the field with its grotesque form. Its sunken eyes oozed with a green liquid, the sickly fluid dripping down its jagged, black-stained teeth. Its jaw extended unnaturally long, as if the creature's grin had been split open by some monstrous force. Ty's gaze was drawn to its hands, where it clutched two figures—one woman whose shoulder was torn away, blood spilling down her side, and another whose upper half was completely gone, only her lifeless legs dangling from the creature's grip.
The creature chuckled, a deep, bone-rattling sound that resonated through the air before letting out a roar. Its mouth opened wide, revealing an unnatural green energy swirling within. The energy condensed, forming a small, glowing orb that began to grow, expanding outward with ominous intent.
Panic set in, and Ty lunged forward, his instincts screaming at him to do something. But just as he moved, another figure flashed past him. Ty blinked, momentarily disoriented. The figure was wielding a sword, its blade gleaming with a familiar edge. Recognition hit Ty like a wave as he recalled the vision he had seen while lying on the pile of bones. It was that same sword—the one that had spoken to him. The man holding it had a commanding presence, his white cape flowing behind him, his hair strikingly similar to the body Ty was currently in. But this man was taller, broader, a more formidable version of himself.
Ty stood frozen, watching as the figure charged at the creature. The orb of green energy released, a blinding pulse shooting forth, but the man showed no hesitation. He swung the sword in a swift, confident arc, bringing it down across his body. The attack met the blade, and to Ty's astonishment, the energy seemed to be drawn into it, absorbed like water soaking into parched earth.
A voice emanated from the sword, a mocking tone that seemed almost amused. "Thanks for the free meal, buddy!"
The creature roared in anger, its massive arm swiping toward the man, but he moved with a grace that belied his size. He ducked under the swing, rolling to the side and coming up with his sword at the ready. The creature lashed out again, its other arm descending like a hammer, but the man leaped, twisting in midair, narrowly avoiding the crushing blow. He landed lightly, his feet barely making a sound on the grass as he shifted his stance.
Another strike came, the creature's claws aiming to tear him apart, but the man sidestepped, his cape flowing behind him like a ghostly specter. He spun, using the momentum to slash at the creature's extended limb, the blade carving a deep gash that oozed the same sickly green fluid. The creature howled, its monstrous voice echoing through the blackened sky.
The man used the opportunity, leaping onto the creature's massive shoulder. He balanced there for a moment, his white cape fluttering in the breeze, before raising the sword high. The tip of the blade hovered over the creature's shoulder, and Ty could see the man's lips moving, murmuring words that seemed ancient, powerful—words Ty couldn't understand, but whose significance he could feel deep in his bones.
A pulse of energy built up at the tip of the sword, a green glow that grew brighter with every syllable uttered. The air around them seemed to hum, vibrating with an unseen power. The creature twisted, trying to shake the man off, but he held his position, calm and unwavering. The energy reached its peak, a blinding light that illuminated the nightmarish scene.
In an instant, the energy erupted downward, the force so intense that Ty felt the ground beneath him shudder. The blast tore through the creature, erasing half of its body in one violent explosion. The creature let out a final, gurgling roar before collapsing, its remaining form crumpling to the ground, lifeless.
The man stood atop the fallen beast for a moment, his gaze focused on the sword as if listening to something only he could hear. Then he hopped down, landing lightly on the grass. Ty watched, his heart pounding in his chest, his mind struggling to process what he had just witnessed.

Everything about this felt real—the smell of the scorched earth, the oppressive darkness, the creature's agonized screams. Ty looked down at his hands again, flexing his fingers. He was still in his original body, the same one he'd had on Earth. This was no ordinary dream. There was something more to this place, something connected to the past he couldn't quite grasp. The man turned, his eyes locking onto Ty for just a moment, and Ty felt a shiver run down his spine, a strange sense of recognition flashing between them before everything began to blur, the dream fading around him.
The sound of hooves hitting the ground reached Ty's ears, a rhythmic pounding that seemed to vibrate through the air. He turned, hearing a loud roar behind him, and saw eight horses approaching rapidly. Armored men rode atop them, their armor glinting dully under the darkened sky. The horses circled the clearing, their riders surrounding the injured women and the man who was tending to one of their wounds.
"Xaivuz! What the hell do you think you're doing here?" one of the armored men shouted, his voice harsh as he dismounted from his horse. His eyes were cold, his face partially obscured by the helmet, but Ty could see the fury etched in every line of his body.
Xaivuz turned his head, looking up from the wounded woman, his expression calm despite the situation. "I am sorry, Sir Valore," he said, his voice steady. "But I heard the screams. I couldn't just sit by while innocent maidens were devoured by a monstrous creature from the hell space."
Valore's eyes narrowed, and he reached out, grabbing Xaivuz by the collar. "If you would keep to your region, you damn demon, these creatures wouldn't keep showing up!" He shook Xaivuz roughly, the anger evident in his movements.
