Chapter 287: Chapter 287: Fire Warden

The stone door appeared and the group entered the Prison once more. This time, they arrived at the Floor of Fire.

"Mmmm. This place smells like home." Bash took a deep breath in.

Solarix flew away with her demon wings. She landed on a lava lake and submerged herself within it.

"The lava here feels like a hot bath." Solarix said.

Crow squatted down and touched the lava. He quickly retracted his hand as his dark skin started to fizzle.

"Yup. Definitely not a hot bath for us." Crow said.

Bash looked around in the barren wasteland. The place had the perfect environment for him. However, there was nothing here at all. It’s just a ground of fire and a sky of dark red.

"It seems... empty." Bash said.

Mater’s cat eyes appeared in the sky, "It is. But it won’t be anymore."

The Submission Seal that Mater took away from the forge appeared inside the floor. It was much larger than before and pulsed like a beating heart.

It landed at an empty field and embedded into the ground.

First, a large Octagram symbol glowed up. It covered the entire space of the floor. Then, from beneath the Seal, a steel flower emerged.

It was much bigger than the version in reality. The steel flower was as big as a skyscraper with its petals reached all across the floor.

The interior of the flower reconstructed itself and transformed into a building.

"Come. Take a look inside and tell me what you guys think," Mater’s voice echoed. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

The group marveled at the gigantic steel flower. A door appeared on the body of the flower, right at the ground surface. They entered it.

It was a castle of steel. A castle that looked like a flower. At the top of the castle was a pool of lava.

The steel flower pulled in all the heat from the lava and concentrated it into the pool.

Bash squatted down and put his hand inside the lava.

"This is the new Shrine?" Bash said.

"That’s right, kid." Mater’s voice echoed. "It is your Shrine and your new throne. The Infernal Throne."

A throne emerged inside the room, right in front of the pool. It was a throne of pure black steel with jagged edges and spikes spurring out of it.

"What about Solarix?" Bash said.

The black cat chuckled gently.

"Of course. I won’t forget about her."

A second Submission Seal appeared in the sky. It landed on another open field right next to the steel flower.

Jagged rocks and boulders emerged from the ground. A natural river of lava formed and flowed across the entire floor.

At the beginning of the river, a second steel flower appeared. This one was smaller than the first one but it acted as an anchor for the lava river.

"Come, Solarix. Have a look at your new Shrine." Mater’s voice echoed.

Solarix spread her demon wings and flew over to the beginning of the lava river.

"I want to go see it too!" Selina said.

"Hang on to me, Selina." Evelynn came over and carried Selina toward the place.

Crow transformed into a large bird and carried Aurora and Blanche over.

Sparrow summoned his Terrestrial Guards. He jumped up on their back and rushed to the second floor.

As for Bash. He jumped off the steel flower and took off his mask. His body enlarged and transformed. His true form was revealed.

A mean muscular demon with a bone exoskeleton on the outside. As he landed on the ground, the entire floor seemed to be shaken by his weight.

Bash jumped up in the air and shot through the sky like a bullet. He left last but arrived before anyone. The Infernal Demon dropped near the steel flower and shook the ground.

The others arrived just after him.

"Woah..." Aurora couldn’t help but touch his skin. "You’re huge!"

"Bash huge! Help better!" Bash tapped his chest.

Crow dropped Selina on Bash’s shoulder. The goth girl patted Bash’s head like he was still a kid.

"You’re still cute this way." Selina said.

Solarix entered her steel flower to find a similar lava pool like Bash. However, hers was smaller and her throne seemed to be much more humble than Bash.

"I am grateful for you, Master." Solarix said.

"Haha! I thought you’re going to be jealous of Bash." Mater said.

"Of course not, Master. I am under him in every way." Solarix knelt and bowed in the sky.

"Very good. You know your place. Let’s make it official also."

The Warden Mark appeared in the sky. It shot at Bash and granted him the authority of the floor.

"Bash is the Warden of the Floor of Fire. Of course, he needs your help to manage it once we have more residents here." Mater’s voice echoed.

"I will do everything in my abilities to assist my big brother, Master." Solarix said.

"Since everyone is here. I will establish the new Submission Pact with everyone." Mater said.

"Submission Pact?" Aurora tilted her head slightly.

Mater explained to everyone about his discovery of the Psycho Pact and how he figured out a way for them to use his spells.

"We can use Master’s spells?" Aurora widened her eyes. "That is too overpowered. It feels like cheating."

Mater’s chuckled echoed in the floor, "If you’re not cheating, you ain’t playing."

The black established the Submission Pact with the rest of the servants, including Blanche. This way, the powers of the entire group were raised a level.

Mater also gained access to their spells. Aurora and Sparrow had some really powerful spells. They were still Rank-1 at the moment but once they reached Rank-2, their powers would be a great addition to Mater.

Everyone got their Pact connected with the black cat. They examined their body curiously, finding out the difference from before.

From the sky, a helmet slowly floated down.

"Oh?! I almost forgot about him!" Selina blurted out.

"Him?" Solarix said.

Sparrow leaned over and whispered, "Master’s fourth servant. He is a Phantom living inside the helmet."

The helmet landed on the ground. Black smoke reached out from the helmet and formed a shadowy body. A body similar to Crow but was much more faded and elusive.

The knight knelt down, "I am here for you to command, Master."

"Hmmmm. What kind of spells should I let you hold?" The black cat squinted his eyes.
