Chapter 132: Is it the Dawn?!

Celestia’s POV:

"Celestia, for the love of God, please control yourself," Darius shouted out. "Let us talk and sort out everything."

"No," I snarled. "There is no use in talking anymore. It is not going to bring any solution."

Darius came near me and raised up his hands. " Celestia, please hear me out. What you are going to do is a huge mistake! Your actions will jeopardize the existence of all of us. Please change your mind for Aiden’s sake!"

I am not ready to hear another piece of advice from him. I stuck him with my bright yellow flames before he could say another word. My flames hit him exactly on his left shoulder. He let out a shrill cry and crouched down on the floor.

"Edwin, bring the chains! I will try to hold her back," Darius shouted out and placed his hand on his shoulder. With his icy blue flames, he tried to heal the burn on his skin.

After that, I turned my focus to Edwin. Even before I could strike him, he ran away from me. He is probably going to bring the dead rock chain! I should not let him go!

I tried to follow him outside, but Darius had already healed himself, and he got up from the floor. "I am not going to let you do this, Celestia! I won’t hesitate to fight you if you don’t step away and surrender now."

"Bring it on!" I screamed out.

Without warning, he cast out a couple of his blue sparks at me. One of his blows barely missed me from hitting my torso. I should be more careful now! I might be the Dawn, but Darius is my mentor. He knows about all of my moves as he is the one who taught me them.

Perhaps I should try out the strategy that Theo uses. He makes the enemy attack first so that all of their energies get drained. Then he strikes at them when they are entirely vulnerable.

But Theo has already performed that strategy on him while he battled with him in the Southern Lord’s castle. I can’t use that same old trick on him!

I should come up with something else! Unfortunately, my mind wasn’t able to come up with any such strategies. I blankly cast my flames at him multiple times. He neutralized all of my strikes with his blue flames.

This continued for a couple of minutes. I kept on attacking him with my flames, and he subdued them with his. This is going to get me nowhere! If I waste more time here, then Edwin will come here with a dead rock chain and tie me up again.

I can’t let them tie me again! Then who is going to rescue Theo? My rage rose up as I pictured Theo lying unconscious on the ground. He is in that cold dungeon for more than three days.

My rage aided me in releasing all the immense amount of hidden powers inside me. My eyes got turned into bright yellow slits of flames. Darius was shocked to see my transformation.

"You can’t compete with me anymore. I am an Angel now," I shouted out in a bold voice that didn’t seem like mine.

He lowered his hands down and stared at me in awe. Soon my skin began to glow like the Holy fire of Aiden. Now I can take down Darius with just one blow if I wish.

But Darius got down on his knees immediately and acknowledged the defeat. Good for him! I really didn’t want to attack him.

When I decided to leave him alone, Edwin arrived at the spot. He had the dead rock chain in his hand.

Edwin was intimidated by my appearance too! But still, he stepped forward and tried to tie up my wrists again. Surprisingly, I let him do it. My hands were now cuffed again with that deadly chain.

Still, my powers weren’t suppressed! I realized the significance of my powers at that moment. All this time, I foolishly let that chain take control of me.

When it restrained my powers, I let it win. Now that I am taking a stand against it, I was easily able to break off the chain into two, and I dropped them on the ground below me.

That was easy! I should have done this before. Why didn’t I try? From now on, I should try to have faith in my abilities.

I always view myself as a Fae and forget that I am actually an Angel. The powers of an Angel have no boundaries. They are infinite and unpredictable.

Angels created the realm of light. How can a glossy rock in this realm suppress the power of the creator?

Edwin knelt on the ground beside Darius, and he, too, yielded to me. "Dawn, Please forgive us," he cried out.

Now there is no use in attacking them anymore. I walked out of there immediately. It is time to save Theo!

On my way, the rest of the Fathomless warriors tried to stop me. But they all backed out just by looking at my fiery eye slits.

I had no disturbance until I reached the door that leads to the dungeon below. The five Fae guards were stunned when they eyed me.

"Is that the Dawn," one of them shouted.

"You are right! It is her," another said.

"Get out of my way," I yelled at them.

They got scared of me; still, they didn’t step away from the door. One of the Fae guards came near me. He bowed down and said, " I am sorry, Dawn. The King has commanded us not to allow you through the door. We can’t let you in."

I didn’t know if I should appreciate him for his bravery or mock him for his stupidity. " Are you going to stand in the way of the Dawn?" I roared out.

The guard was shivering in anxiety. Still, he stood in my way. "Dawn! Please understand us. We are obligated to follow the orders of the King. Please show some mercy on us!"
