Xu Ke and Tang Yingchang pushed the door open and entered. Xu Ke grinned. "I only gave you three a tiny bit of poison. Why all the fuss?"

Damn it! You call this a tiny bit of poison? the Yin-Yang Elders and Shi Hongda cursed inwardly.

But on the surface, they still appeared pitiful, their faces mournful. "No, no, no, we were just kidding. We were just speaking out of anger."

After Xu Ke left, Shi Hongda smirked, a triumphant look in his eyes. "He thinks he can trick us with such a simple ploy? Impossible!"

"Exactly!" the Yin-Yang Elders nodded vigorously in agreement.

When Xu Ke came out, he shrugged at Tang Yingchang. "I did my best. They didn't want the antidote, so there was nothing I could do."

"I saw that, Mister Xu," Tang Yingchang nodded with a smile, then asked, "So, what's your next move to secure another vote?"

"Hmm..." Xu Ke pondered for a moment before saying, "In that case, Elder Tang, please accompany me to the hospital."

Tang Yingchang didn't understand what voting had to do with a hospital, but he obediently nodded anyway.
