The call instantly disconnected leaving Deborah in confusion and panic. She hurriedly went to the phone gallery and opened the only video store on the phone.

When Deborah pressed play on the video, an image of her husband wearing some sort of safety helmet and jacket while talking to his friend and a fellow investor came to live.

They seemed to be deliberating on a rock-like lustrous sample when some approached them.

This person, who seemed to be the one recording this video was hidden away from the camera lens. He said something about Mr Anderson taking over their shares and investments.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, a loud sound closely followed by a flash of light ended the video recording.

Deborah impulsively let go of the phone, her body frozen and her breath hitched. Her dilated pupil followed the phone in slow motion as it fell on the cobblestone pathway, with a slight cracking thud.

"Victor!" A drop of tear slipped out of Deborah's moist eye.

But what she heard next made her heart freeze. It was a tiny electronic voice message, saying,

[This message will self-destruct in 5,4,3,2 and...]

The phone on the ground exploded, causing Deborah to almost jump out of her skin.

At another foreign location, a nursing mother who happened to be the wife of the second dead investor received a similar harrowing message that caused her to collapse at the end of the transmission.

Back in Salvine City, Amelia carried on for the next two days like nothing serious had happened to her husband's company.

She regularly kept in touch with Blaze, giving her all the morale support he needed while keeping the news away from Maria until the video of the explosion anonymously found its way to the Internet world.

Within a space of thirty minutes, before the video was taken down, it spread across the length and breadth of the country, causing widespread panic and tension.

Some notable investors of Andex Groups International began pulling out of the company, terrified of getting swallowed by the storm.

Rumours of the company going bankrupt due to numerous filed litigations started spreading like wildfire, with some people saying that history was about to repeat itself in the Anderson family.

The bereaved families of the two investors who died in the explosion came on air requesting, the immediate arrest and prosecution of the chairman and CEO of the company.

They made it clear that no amount of monetary compensation would replace the lives of their loved ones except watching the criminal-minded chairman rot in prison for his crime of manslaughter.

However, in all of the trials, Amelia remained strong for her husband, her mother-in-law, her husband's terrified family members and her unborn child.

She stood up to the media backlash that followed suit, defending her husband even to the detriment of her own company image.

While the aftermath of the explosion threatened to crumple Andex Group international, the search for the real perpetrators of the crime seemed to meet a dead end.

It was as though the people who orchestrated the attack were ghosts and not of planet Earth. Searching for them was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Nonetheless, Blaze teams persevered, without falling prey to the trap laid out for them by their opponents.

Over the next couple of weeks, Andex Group International was swarmed with several allegations and litigation ranging from safety violations to manslaughter, conspiracy, environmental damage, and unlawful policies and practices, amongst others.

Each of these lawsuits came with millions and billions of dollars as compensation fees.

A ban was placed on the operational activities of Andex Group International pending the duration of the court trial proceeding.

The chairman of the company was sentenced to a year in prison pending evidence exonerating him from pre-meditated manslaughter allegations.

It had been two months since Blaze's arrest in a foreign country for a crime he didn't commit.

Whoever was behind the explosion had been very careful not to leave a trace for Blaze's team of experts to uncover.

Whenever it felt like they were at the point of a breakthrough, they were met with a dead end.

But not for once did Amelia give up on her husband, with her father and Blaze's team of lawyers, they kept digging and looking for anything that would prove Blaze's innocence.

During this trying period, Amelia formed an unexpected alliance with Kelvin, Tina's military brother, who employed various resources and went underground to uncover the dilemma behind the ghastly explosion.

While Blaze's case was ongoing, the Shawls family were preparing to welcome Gwen home from prison.

In two days, she would be set free, having spent six months in pregnancy.

While Senator Gregory prepared to welcome his second pregnant daughter home, Amelia decided to pay Gwen a visit for the first time at the female prison facility where she was held.

Looking very robust and plump in her yellow prison jumpsuit, with her protruding baby bump, Gwen was a completely different woman, with a hardened and unrepentant demeanour.

She was having a swell time chatting happily with her pregnant inmate sisters, as she fondly called them when the warden informed her that she had a visitor.

"A visitor?!" Gwen raised her eyebrows, without moving from her seat.

"Maybe it's your father." One of the inmates with short spiky hair winked at Gwen.

"And you know what that means, girls?" Another red-hair-pregnant inmate chirped happily.

"Goodies!" All six ladies aside Gwen chanted happily.

"It can't be my father. We already spoke yesterday and he said he won't be coming until tomorrow." Gwen waved her hand dismissively.

"It's your sister? Now move that

lazy butt out of that seat." The impatient warden glared at her.

"My sister!" Gwen scoffed chuckling.

"Which one!" One of the seven-month pregnant inmates sneered.

"The b*tch who made your husband disappear?" The red-haired pregnant lady's gaze turned chilly.

"What does that tramp want here?" The most notorious pregnant woman in their midst punched her fist on the table.

"Girls, relax." Gwen drawled, a wicked smirk playing at the corner of her lips as she turned to face the warden.

"I am afraid you're mistaken warden. I don't have a sister except the ones you're looking at. So you can tell that little chicken shit to crawl back to the sewer where she came from."

The warden chuckled and said.

"She also said if you refuse to oblige her presence, then you should be ready to join your real father in his magnificent mansion."

Gwen instantly froze at that statement.
