Find a Troubled Girl after leaving the Guild-Chapter 461 - 246: Dragon of the Sea
The conversation between the two caught Otto’s attention, and upon noticing this, Li Ang said to the old man, "Besides being a former member of The Soul Apex and the Banquet of the Gods, Farina also has the status of a Dragon Expert."
"Expert, I wouldn’t say that," Farina chuckled. "I am merely a deputy of the Fire Dragon God. Everything I know comes from the Dragon Gods. At most, I’m just a conveyor of hidden information and the Dragon Gods’ will."
"Don’t be modest," Li Ang said. "First question, what level is this Dragon Bone here? Is it the Sea Dragon God that the villagers of Huanwo speak of? Is the Sea Dragon God really Leviathan, the Sea Dragon Ancestor?"
The Dragon Witch laughed, "That’s quite a lot of questions."
She nodded at Otto, "It seems you’ve been puzzled for quite some time."
Farina picked up a Water Elemental Crystal from the ground; she had long been aware of the environment here.
This crystal is ordinary level for the cave, but it’s material from the Transcendent Realm, while those around the Dragon Bone have reached Excellence Realm levels.
It can be said that although this cave contains the Star Soul Flower Tree, Ancient Dragon Bone, and some prototype of Magical Armor, these Water Element Crystals are also a massive fortune.
Li Ang had his eyes on these things from the beginning, but due to his connections with Otto, he couldn’t take everything but aimed to take enough without noticeably reducing the counts inside the cave.
"The purity of this crystal is truly rare."
Farina ignited Dragon Flame in her palm, and although it rapidly melted the Water Elemental Crystal, the water vapor within didn’t escape immediately but instead released a massive amount of steam that took quite a while to dissipate.
"With such a density of Water Elements, this cave is the water vein center of the entire island, nurturing all the plants. It is, no, to be accurate, ninety-nine percent sure it is the remains of the Sea Serpent Ancestor. And from this perspective, the Sea Serpent Ancestor was indeed the Sea Dragon God."
Farina finalized the answer.
She continued, not being definitive merely because she hadn’t anticipated meeting the legendary Sea Dragon Ancestor’s material form in the Material Dimension so easily.
"Major discoveries in the Demon Disaster Realm sometimes start from an unintended adventure," Li Ang remarked.
"Indeed,"
Farina nodded and then looked at the Moon Shadow Rabbit in her arms.
Since being held by her, the rabbit was quiet; if Li Ang didn’t know it wasn’t a regular rabbit, he might think it preferred Farina’s higher-than-normal body temperature.
"So, the Sea Dragon God returned to the Magic Power Dimension?" Otto asked.
"Regarding whether the Sea Dragon Ancestor truly fell, I’ve asked the Water Dragon God and she... Oh, she’s such a frustrating Divine Spirit."
Farina’s stroking of the Moon Concealing Rabbit was a bit too forceful, which was odd to Li Ang, as this old guild mate wasn’t one to mess with unfamiliar things; he was worried she’d bald the rabbit.
"Is the Water Dragon God’s character unpleasant?"
"Should we say it’s unpleasant, or is it just her nature?"
Farina sighed and roughly explained the hidden secrets of the Six Dragons.
The Six Dragons are fragments of the Creator God’s power, both physical Dragons and embodiments of the Six Elements. Their manner of existence is unique, reflected partly in their personalities.
They, or rather their personalities, resonate with the Elements. For instance, the Fire Dragon God, whom Farina follows, likes to incarnate as a fiery, straightforward man, quick to anger, and naturally aggressive in battle, won’t stop until they annihilate the enemy.
"Have you seen the Six Dragons in combat?"
"Ah, their attack styles were overheard during their occasional bickering."
"Alright."
It seemed that these Six Dragons weren’t entirely serious.
Back to their personalities, the Earth Dragon is naturally much more stable, while the Wind Dragon is genuinely capricious and unpredictable like the wind, disappearing at a whim, only to find her sleeping somewhere later.
As for the Water Dragon, owing to water’s nature, she resembles the Wind Dragon in her capriciousness. The good part is she’s not entirely impulsive, but the downside is once she sets her mind, she can’t be swayed and is quite inscrutable compared to the more transparent Wind Dragon.
"Other Dragon Gods have mentioned that when there was more water in the world, the Water Dragon God was more stable," Farina said.
Ah, that must be when the oceans still existed, Li Ang thought.
"Anyway, because of this, the Light and Dark Dragon God finds it hard to recruit deputies due to high demands, while the Wind Dragon God’s deputy tends to be as unreliable as she is, and the Water Dragon God drove hers away."
"Is that really the case?"
Having limited knowledge about the Six Dragons, even hearing Farina complain about these matters didn’t allow Li Ang and Otto to contribute much to the conversation.
Farina suddenly assessed Otto and said, "I’ve heard a lot about you, old man. If you believe in the Sea Dragon Ancestor and are proficient in the Water Sword Path, would you consider being the Water Dragon God’s deputy? You’re stable enough; perhaps you’re just right."
"Hmm."
Otto pondered seriously for a moment and then said, "If it’s about faith, I might be the most shallow in the village. I’ve grown up hearing tales of the Sea Dragon God day and night, so I have feelings akin to family for it. But isn’t there a significant difference between the Sea Dragon God and the Water Dragon God?"
"Significant difference, huh..."
Farina muttered, looking at the Moon Concealing Rabbit.
"You’ve been looking at this rabbit a lot," Li Ang remarked.
"Was she planning to hit you?" Farina asked, "What did you do?"
Li Ang briefly explained about Meimei, Diana, who holds both Island God and Flower God identities, the Annihilator, Imperial Armor, and the Moon Concealing Rabbit’s control over armor, as well as Andasu’s desires and resulting conflicts.
