Chapter 2203: Chapter 1000: All Trump Cards Revealed (Part 3)

Boom! Bang! Bang!

Three crash sounds echoed simultaneously.

The first sound was the ferocious giant bear’s paw striking the Reaper Demon Lord. The sharp claws managed to tear three large gashes in the colossal mixed iron armor, exposing the grayish-white skin beneath.

The most lethal part, however, was the manipulation of skeletal force that entered his body, causing havoc in General Sethstein’s ribcage, with ribs piercing his vital organs like sharp swords.

If it were an ordinary person, this would be a fatal blow—heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys all pierced. Even a Legendary Warrior would die on the spot without timely treatment.

The second sound came from the flail breaking through the Legendary Body.

The third sound was Gaven’s own strong defensive ability.

After two layers of weakening, the force of the flail’s swing had been greatly reduced, not enough to break through the defense, but the damage was quite limited.

This was merely a distraction by the Reaper Demon Lord, with the real killing move hidden in his right hand.

Seizing the moment as the Berserk Giant Bear approached, he had touched it once.

The Berserk Giant Bear’s body immediately began to uncontrollably flicker, as the magical spiritual light faded and its body began to distort and transform. In a blink, it became a handsome Half-Elf, filled not with softness like most Half-Elves, but with an exuberant, inexplicable masculinity.

What caught General Sethstein’s attention was the Half-Elf’s left hand, from which he sensed an overwhelming pressure, with energy nature identical to those of the six-armed Skeleton Soldiers.

His speculation was correct; the young man before him was the intruder, the holder of the Slaughter Godhood Shard, and his ultimate target. If he could seize the power in the youth’s left arm, he could not only rid himself of his general status but also enslave the Giant Bone King. The mere thought left him trembling with excitement.

Gaven did not expect this enemy, in a warrior’s guise and attire, to cast High-level Dispel Magic, dispelling most of the support magic and special abilities on him, as well as terminating his Berserk Blue Bear Transformation.

This move was a deadly nemesis of transformation spells.

No matter how strong your shapeshifting ability is, if it’s dispelled, you won’t be able to unleash your full power, right?

But Gaven was no ordinary person, remaining unflustered, his body once again twisting and shifting. His shapeshifting ability wasn’t limited to the Blue Bear Transformation.

With advanced superstate transformation activated, he wasn’t claiming infinite changes, but he had a dozen forms to utilize before exhausting his Psychic Power Points.

Seeing Gaven’s new form, even General Sethstein was briefly stunned, for it was another Reaper Demon Lord holding the oversized flail knocked away by the skeleton cannon shockwave.

Gaven had consciously picked it up into his Portable Dimensional Hole during his charge.

It wasn’t a deliberate attempt to completely mimic the opponent, but his usual weapon was simply unusable.

Magic weapons and armor do possess the ability to enlarge or shrink the wielder through the use of Enlarge or Shrinking Spell, but this is limited to one size up or down unless the weapon or armor itself has the ability, like the War Ravager, to automatically change size.

Gaven’s current high-level superstate transformation crossed two body types; holding the Fine Gold Overlord Spear in hand was more like a short-handled gun than a long spear, and even then, not as handy as a true short-handled gun, since the unique moves of a Ma Shao couldn’t be performed.

Despite the surprise, General Sethstein’s actions weren’t slow, charging again with the colossal flail while the other hand glowed with gray light.

He intended to use the same trick again, directly dispelling Gaven’s transformation with High-level Dispel Magic.

Both Dispel Magic and High-level Dispel Magic are long-range spells and don’t require touching the enemy.

But the latter’s hit rate would be greatly reduced, especially against enemies like Gaven who have activated a Transcendent Body and possess astonishing speed.

Learning from the previous setback.

Gaven gave General Sethstein no chance to cast another High-level Dispel Magic, striding away and using his speed advantage to circle around him. The colossal flail buzzed as he wielded it, its deterrent force being quite formidable.

No one knew from which direction, or with what terrifying force, it would come crashing down.

General Sethstein decisively changed battle tactics, unleashing the negative energy he had accumulated in his body like a fountain towards the direction of Gaven, who had transformed into the Reaper Demon Lord.

Gaven didn’t even dodge, allowing the negative energy to surge through his body, not only feeling no discomfort but a soothing sensation instead.

This is the ferocity of high-level superstate transformation; such mimicry is not just about simulating appearance but involves a temporary shift in the essence of life. He now possessed all the traits of a Reaper Demon Lord, including the undead’s affinity with negative energy.

Crunch!

A huge, empty biting sound rang out. Fortunately, Gaven dodged in time, otherwise, this bite could have bitten off half his body.

The Giant Corpse Hound had astonishingly stood up again, its two legs reattached.

General Sethstein’s recent strategy achieved dual purposes: testing the enemy’s capabilities and simultaneously getting the Corpse Hound back on its feet.

After being knocked down by Gaven and the Dog Demon, the Corpse Hound wasn’t just left alone. The Dog Demon continuously attacked it ferociously.

Yet, the Corpse Hound’s life force was tenacious beyond imagination, devouring surrounding corpses to restore its life force, its repair speed surpassing the damage inflicted by the Dog Demon.

Without General Sethstein’s Negative Energy Burst, it wouldn’t be long before it healed, stood up again, and rejoined the battle.

After the Corpse Hound got up, General Sethstein immediately retreated beside it, no longer riding but relying on it in combat.

The Corpse Hound absorbed most of the damage for him, while General Sethstein focused on preventing the enemy from attacking its limbs again to topple it.
