"Hello Grandpa Shen. What did Professor Wu give you?" She asked as the two walked side-by-side away from the school building.

"Gas canisters with that chemical he mentioned. Now, the issue is only launching. The professor said that the gas is colorless and odorless to prevent the zombies from noticing. But how to make sure it spreads widely and even underground is still going to be a challenge." Commander Shen aired his worries but Chu Miao didn’t think it was a big deal.

"Just give me the gas, leave the rest to me." Chu Miao almost patted her chest in confidence just to reassure the old man.

"Okay then. You have never let us down before, so I will have to trust you."

Commander Shen took Chu Miao to an office in another building before handing over the gas cylinders.

Chu Miao immediately went to look for Ye Xuan to do the mission with him.

Even though she could do it alone, she wanted him to join because the task would go more smoothly if he was there.

"I was looking for you to help with the spreading of the gas Professor Wu created. If we can use air vents, or major ventilations to spread it, it would work better. What do you think?" She asked tentatively.

"It’s a good idea. Since it can be absorbed through the skin, then we just need to make sure it spreads in places where most of the zombies are. Even though the power system doesn’t work anymore, I can use lightning to jumpstart some functions and help in the distribution of the gas." Ye Xuan had the same thought as Chu Miao, so after getting dressed, the two headed outside the base.

"I have to come back early because I have an appointment with Monkey and I had almost forgotten about him." Chu Miao commented as they teleported to a building with an underground ventilation system.

"Alright, let’s make it quick then

We can wait for the gas to take effect and begin our planned battles tomorrow." Ye Xuan always supported his queen, so he went to the circuit box of the building and shocked the system, causing electricity to come to life.

Chu Miao placed the first gas canister inside the vent and unsealed it, letting the gas spread.

Luckily, the gas was only effective against zombies, but not humans.

After the first spot, the two went to over twenty other spots in the city before they were done.
