Extra: Yandere Milfs Obsessed with me!-Chapter 154: Caught in Her Own Trap
Her status was immediately problematic. Prince Julius, being more empathetic by nature, treated her with a certain brotherly kindness. In contrast, Prince Adrian openly despised her. He often ridiculed her in public, calling her the whore. Her father, the emperor, did not officially recognize her as an heir.
He avoided her gaze and refused to include her in official ceremonies. For him, she represented a flaw in his image as a pious and virtuous sovereign, proof of his hypocrisy.
The injustice suffered by her mother was the breaking point. The servant was found dead in her quarters, throat slit. The official investigation concluded it was suicide, which was absurd.
No culprit was sought and the matter was hushed up. For Olivia, then a child, it was a clear message: her life and those of her loved ones had no value in the eyes of power.
She therefore grew up in this environment. Most of the nobles at court despised her. She could not compete on their ground. She did not possess exceptional martial talent to win the favor of generals or the powerful Holy Cathedral like Julius. Nor did she have Adrian’s manipulative charisma and aura of brute strength, which naturally rallied the ambitious and pragmatic among the nobles.
So she forged her own path. Her goal became clear and singular: to seize the imperial throne herself.
It was not just personal ambition. It was a triple objective: first, to obtain absolute power to take revenge on those who had murdered her mother with complete impunity. Second, to force her father’s recognition, even posthumously, by becoming the heir he had always refused to see. Third, to prove to all those who had despised her that they were wrong.
In the original course of the story, her plan failed. After Adrian assassinated his own father, Emperor Leonard, to seize power, a bloody purge followed.
Olivia, without a powerful protector, was an obvious target. Neither Julius, too idealistic, nor the dowager empress, who hated her, intervened. She was captured, accused of heresy, conspiracy with demonic forces, and the murder of the emperor. And she ultimately had her head cut off by the executioner.
This intimate knowledge of her past gave Kaiser a unique perspective.
Olivia’s seductive words, her promises of shared power, were not just manipulation techniques. They were the survival tools of a person who had never had access to any other weapons.
Her beauty and intelligence were the only resources that had not been stolen from her. Behind her confident posture, Kaiser perceived an absolute determination, forged by years of humiliation, and he respected her for it.
He therefore evaluated the proposal with a double perspective. On one side, he saw a potentially very useful ally.
Her position at court, although precarious, gave her access to valuable information and networks. If their interests could be stably aligned, a collaboration would be mutually beneficial.
But on the other side, he identified major risks. Her thirst for vengeance and recognition made her unpredictable. She was ready to do anything to achieve her goal, which potentially included sacrificing her allies if the situation demanded it. Getting close to her meant getting close to the heart of the succession conflicts, directly exposing himself to the unscrupulous Adrian.
"Your frankness is indeed refreshing, Princess," Kaiser finally said, breaking the short silence that had followed his thoughts. "But such vast ambition requires concrete plans, not just intentions. You say you need support. What type of support, precisely? Resources? Information? Discreet military force?"
Olivia did not seem surprised by the direct question. She tilted her head slightly. "All of that at once, but in stages. Currently, my influence is limited to certain circles, even though I have a good relationship with the legendary Stravenger house."
"I see, so what is the first step?"
Olivia smiled: "Who says you’re not a traitor? You’re not yet in my camp, are you?"
Kaiser smiled back: "Indeed, but I’m not yours either."
Olivia delicately licked her lips: "The first step? I want Adrian’s head."
"Well... You’re ruthless... And Julius?" he asked, changing angles. "He treats you with kindness. Wouldn’t he be a more natural ally?"
Olivia’s face hardened imperceptibly. "Julius is an idealist. He believes in laws, justice, redemption through kindness. Those are noble qualities, but useless in the war that’s coming. He would refuse the methods necessary to defeat Adrian. Worse, he would try to stop us. His kindness is a weakness, for him and for those who count on him."
"You were right, he would make a weak Emperor led by his blind faith in the Holy Cathedral." Kaiser nodded.
"So?"
"Well," Kaiser said, making a decision. He was not fully committing, but he was opening a door. "Consider me an interested contact.
If Isabella Donoghan had a rather cute and youthful beauty, Olivia displayed a seductive and charismatic beauty. This also distinguished her from Ariana Hornraven, whose beauty came with an intrinsically dangerous aura.
In her office, the conversation with Kaiser had reached a point where positions were established. However, Kaiser showed no enthusiasm or commitment that she had hoped for.
"Our discussion is a bit dull. Some wine?" Olivia proposed, standing up to head toward where a carafe and crystal goblets rested.
Kaiser, although not particularly interested in alcohol in this context, accepted with a slight nod out of politeness. "Why not."
She poured the dark red liquid into two goblets. She handed him his, their fingers deliberately brushing. "To our future arrangements," she said, raising a toast.
Kaiser raised his goblet in response but did not drink immediately. He stood up in turn. "Your gardens are splendid. Can we continue outside? The air seems... clearer."
Olivia nodded, an enigmatic smile on her lips. "Of course."
They stepped out onto a marble terrace overlooking the gardens. Kaiser walked beside her, swirling the wine in his goblet without bringing it to his lips. He observed the elongated shadows of the statues, the peaceful air contrasting with the tension of their meeting.
Olivia, who had sipped her own wine, stopped near a rosebush. She noticed his gesture. "My wine doesn’t please you, Kaiser Paragon?"
Kaiser stopped swirling the liquid. He laughed, a short sound without warmth. "I’m savoring the anticipation." He finally raised the goblet and took a sip, enough to wet his lips and taste it on his tongue.
Olivia smiled, satisfied. But her smile froze when Kaiser, in a sudden and fluid movement, moved closer. He was not brutal, but his gesture was firm and unexpected. He placed one hand on her arm to steady her, and with the other, he grasped her chin.
Before she could utter a word, I lowered my head. My hand holding the goblet rested against her cheek, tilting it slightly. I pressed my lips to hers.
She remained rigid with surprise. Her eyes, wide open a few centimeters from mine, reflected a mixture of shock and confusion.
Taking advantage of that moment, the wine in my mouth, the one she had served me, began to flow between our joined lips.
She tried to pull back, a muffled gurgle in her throat. But my hand on her arm and the other on her cheek held her. I sealed the kiss, preventing her from spitting it out. The liquid had to go down.
"Bastard!"
"I share your toast, Princess," he said smiling.
"No!" she exclaimed, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
Olivia stared at him, her attempt to hide her panic imperfect. The plan had gone wrong. She had indeed added a substance to his glass before pouring the wine.
It was not a simple aphrodisiac. It was a rare and complex compound that he had asked an alchemist to create.
The latter provoked an intense physical desire, but with a perverse particularity: the induced need became psychosomatically fixed on the first person who touched the intoxicated one intimately after ingestion. The idea was that after drinking, he would kiss Kaiser. Then the chemical bond would form, making him obsessed with her, her dog as she had secretly imagined. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
And unfortunately, she had no antidote.
After all, she had no intention of releasing Kaiser.
But the roles had just reversed. It was she who had ingested the substance, and it was he who had kissed her. The chemical protocol had been triggered.
"You are... Everything is ruined! What am I going to do...," she managed to say, already feeling a strange and intrusive heat begin to course through her veins.
"Mistrust is a virtue of survival, Princess, especially when speaking to a woman as dangerous as you," Kaiser replied with a mocking smile, hands in his pockets. "I think our meeting is over. Thank you for your hospitality... and I hope the aphrodisiac only lasts a few hours."
"Goodbye, Princess Olivia~~."
"No, wait!" she called to him, her voice betraying an urgency she no longer quite controlled.
"You can’t leave like that!"
The hand she extended trembled slightly. Her cheek was becoming redder and redder... Driving her mad.
"Fuck!" A heat rose in her, along with the fear of this permanent-effect aphrodisiac.
