Chapter 94: Bakuzan

"Both of you look strong... You that just killed that monster, will die first!"

The man spoke with overwhelming confidence and authority. He stood tall, with black, long flowing hair all the way down to his shoulders, he wore a black, light long sleeve shirt with black trousers and black shoes to match with it.

He pointed at Thunderlash who was still crouched down on the ground. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

"You step forward lets get this over with, I have other heroes to get to today!"

Thunderlash furrowed his brows and managed to his feet, his muscles and body ached from the gruesome battle with the Calamity Creature.

He took a step forward towards the unknown man, Ice Blast attempted to stop him but he shrugged her off.

"I can handle it..."

The air was thick with suspense, a few civilians from the train hid behind tress recording with their phones, some still lay down on the ground, wounded, some catered for others.

"You just now... I can tell you’re strong..." The unknown man said as Thunderlash stood within a yards length form him.

"Who are you and what do you want?" Thunderlash demanded, completely cutting off the man.

The man chuckled slightly while tugging on his necklace.

"Hmmm... You don’t know who I am? Heheheh... Haven’t a clue?"

"I wouldn’t be asking if I did... Dummy!"

"Ohhh..." The man gasped placing a mocking hand over his mouth. "You like to talk big... Do you deliver big too?"

Thunderlash cracked his knuckles in response to his statement.

"I see... If you must know who I am... I’ll give you a clue"

"Tempest Wolf A-Class Hero... Missing..."

"Dragon Girl B-Class hero... Missing..."

"Multiple E-Class and D-Class heroes... Missing..."

"Firebrand... He was a hot one... Missing..."

The man suddenly furrowed his eyebrows and clenched his jaws. "Do you catch my drift?"

Skrrrrr!

Thunderlash wasted no time, he immediately understood who the man standing before him was and took his stance to engage him.

"Hero Hunter..."

The man laughed maniacally tugging violently at his necklace.

"Hehe... Yours truly."

"Tell me something... Why? Why take down Earth heroes and where have you hidden them?" Thunderlash asked, his temper boiling inside him.

"Well, I was aiming to imprison them. But the first one got away... Tempest Wolf, haven’t been able to find him ever since! But the rest I killed and buried their bodies in some random place... Hehe"

"WHAT!" Thunderlash couldn’t hold his temper anymore, his whips crackled out with dangerous killing intent palpable in his eyes.

"Woah, did I strike a nerve?!"

"The world is short of heroes and you’re killing them?!"

"Essentially yes...haha!"

"How about I show you death and you’ll see what it feels like to be hunted!"

Skrrrrr!

Thunderlash spread his other feet and super charged his whips to the point they increased in electricity and length too.

He was in his element, wide space with enough room to freely use his equipment effectively.

"Wait, before we start. I have a proposal for you... What’s your name..."

"Thunderlash, B-Class Rank 17"

"Hmmm... My name is Bakuzan, would you like to join me eliminate these filthy heroes from the surface of the earth?" The man said with an outstretched hand towards Thunderlash.

"Over my dead body, I would rather die than so that. And I will kill you in the name of my brother..."

"I see..."

Crack!

Bakuzan cracked his knuckles and his neck before dropping into a fighting stance.

"Come on, are you afraid? Let’s go fist for fist see before activating our skills huh?"

Thunderlash obeyed and put away his whips, "Just for thirty seconds..."

"Deal..."

Boom!

The earth beneath their feet shattered as they both left the ground to pounce on eachother.

Boom!

They met in mid air, the impact of both their fist landing on each other’s cheek could be felt throughout the length of the train.

Thunderlash was rocked back a bit and touched his nose checking for blood.

Their was none.

"You have quite the power for an equipment user!" Bakuzan said. He too appeared a bit shaken by the impact of Thunderlash’s punch.

"You’re a Meta!" Thunderlash proclaimed.

The two of them charged at eachother again, their eyes locked in a fierce stare as they approached eachother.

Their muscles tensed up, ready to strike. Then, rapid exchange of fist action followed on immediate contact.

Limbs flying in a flurry of punches, kicks and blocks.

Each blow was met with a corresponding counterattack.

They fought with precision and skill, their movements lightning fast and deadly.

Thunderlash breathing was heavy and steady, still feeling the effect of his previous battle, but he still pushed on. He tried as much as possible to be calm and calculative in his attacks because he already anticipated him to be a formidable opponent.

Someone that is able to take down a hero like Tempest Wolf is not to be underestimated.

Thunderlash let a loud scream while releasing a blow aiming for Bakuzan’s mid section, he blocked and grabbed Thunderlash by the right hand within his palms.

Thunderlash was stunned, he tried to break his arm free but Bakuzan had a tight grip on it.

He raised his head to meet the piercing eyes of Bakuzan staring down at him with a menacing smirk on his face.

"You surprise me Thunderlash..." He yelled at the hero’s face with a manicle laugh.

"Grrr!"

Thunderlash attempted to free his right hand again, but to no avail.

Bakuzan momentarily trapped him and their was a clear opening.

With a swing of the head backwards, Bakuzan built enough momentum to land back on Thunderlash’s face giving him a head butt clean on the forehead.

Bam!

The impact sent Thunderlash skidding back a couple meters before coming to a stop.

The civilians and Ice Blast simply watched on hoping the young hero would turn the tide of this exchange in their favor.

"Wait, wait... Not yet, thirty seconds isn’t over yet!!!" Thunderlash could her Bakuzan yell across from where he stood.

Thunderlash could feel the weight of the people watching heaving on his shoulders. As well as a wincing pain in his head.

"Come on..." He encouraged himself.

Straightening back into a fighting stance and the civilians around breathe in a sigh of relief.
