Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife-Chapter 816 - 851: Dorian Howards’ Frustration
Alice Conley blushed deeply and awkwardly said, "Uh, did I say something wrong?"
"No, Alice, you’re really a wonderful woman." Daxton smiled earnestly, "I’m really happy to know you and become friends with you. I think if Jacob had the chance to meet you, he would definitely appreciate you too."
"Your friend’s name is Jacob?" Alice asked.
"Yes, Jacob Fletcher." Daxton said, and when he mentioned the person he loved, his expression became even more tender, "I met him at a ski resort. It was my first time skiing and I was probably acting like a total fool. After falling several times, he walked up to me and offered to teach me how to ski, saying he’d never seen someone so clumsy before."
Alice listened to Daxton’s story. Perhaps these words had been buried deep inside him for too long without anyone to share them with, and now, he seemed to have opened up, saying a lot.
At this moment, Alice was the perfect listener, with a smile on her lips throughout. She was willing to listen to him talk about these things, even if it was a love between two men, she didn’t feel disgusted or repulsed. She only wanted to sincerely wish them well.
However, this scene was being watched by someone else in another corner of the restaurant.
Dorian Howards felt like an idiot, sneaking into the restaurant, paying other guests to give up their seats, and then watching like a thief for ages just to see those two being so affectionate?
Especially seeing how tightly Alice was holding that man’s hand, which made Dorian feel a pang of jealousy.
When did she ever hold his hand that tightly during a meal?
What was wrong with him? Obviously, he wanted to let go, but it seemed like he couldn’t. Whenever it involved her, he didn’t feel like himself at all.
Was it because he rejected her? So she quickly found a new target, having dinner with this guy last time and now again? Did she like this type of man?
Dorian compared himself and thought he was obviously more handsome. But then he remembered that Alice claimed to be a looks enthusiast, yet sometimes her taste wasn’t that great. It was possible she thought the other guy was better looking.
Dorian felt like he was going to grind his teeth to dust. He wanted to leave and not watch any longer. Whatever she decided to do in the future was her freedom; why should he care? He had already cut ties with her completely.
But his butt remained planted on the chair, unable to move, and he kept glancing over at them, until they got up to leave. Only then did he rise, like a stalker, and followed them out.
He thought, he must be crazy! To do something like this.

After finishing lunch, Alice and Daxton strolled around the area a bit to digest, and then Daxton took her back to her community’s entrance.
"It was a happy day. Let’s meet up again sometime. If you need a driver, feel free to call me anytime. I’d be happy to drive you to the hospital for a check-up on my day off," Daxton said.
