The Dark Elf swiftly retreated into the defensive circle formed by the Black Dog Illusion Demons. Drawing her bow, she fired a stream of Arrows that flew like meteors, piercing the eyes of the Demonized Giant Rats and killing them one by one.

Blood splattered as the twenty-two Black Dog Illusion Demons continuously tore the Demonized Giant Rats apart, biting off their heads and leaving a trail of corpses.

The tide of this small-scale war began to turn, inch by inch, in Shu Feng’s favor.

Just then, the two-meter-tall Demonized Giant Rat King, its body covered in long golden fur, shot out from the swarm like a bolt of Lightning. Its upper limbs were as thick and muscular as a gorilla’s, and it unsheathed twenty-centimeter-long claws, swiping at the two-meter-tall Goblin Leader.

The Demonized Giant Rat King was so fast that the Goblin Leader was caught completely off guard. A single swipe of its claws gouged out the goblin’s eyeball, sending blood flying.

"Dizziness Technique!"

Shu Feng roared, pulling the trigger. An Armor-Piercing Bullet shot out like a meteor and slammed into the Demonized Giant Rat King, blasting a bloody hole in its body.

Struck by Shu Feng’s shot, the terrifying force of the impact knocked the Demonized Giant Rat King out of the air. The moment it landed, however, it kicked off with its powerful legs and dodged to one side.

The Goblin Shaman, who had been standing quietly by Shu Feng’s side without using any Magic, chanted an incantation and pointed at the Demonized Giant Rat King.

A ray of hazy gray magical light missed its mark completely, hitting an ordinary Demonized Giant Rat instead and stunning it for a moment.

The Dark Elf loosed an Arrow, but it simply struck the Demonized Giant Rat King’s golden fur and bounced harmlessly away.

The Demonized Giant Rat King’s fur was incredibly tough, like a thick layer of armor. Without a special round like Shu Feng’s Armor-Piercing Bullet—powerful enough to penetrate tank armor—it was impossible to break through its golden hide.

Wounded by Shu Feng’s shot, a vicious gleam flashed in the Demonized Giant Rat King’s eyes. It leaped into the air and pounced toward Shu Feng.

With murderous glints in their eyes, two Black Dog Illusion Demons lunged at the Demonized Giant Rat King.

The Demonized Giant Rat King reared up on its hind legs and viciously slammed its claws into the two Black Dog Illusion Demons. The immense, violent force sent them flying and simultaneously tore long gashes across their bodies.

Just then, the Goblin Shaman pointed at the Demonized Giant Rat King, and a hazy gray light descended upon it.

This time, the Demonized Giant Rat King was stunned for an instant.

BOOM!

Shu Feng slammed a Blast Bullet into the Demonized Giant Rat King. As if it had been hit by a rocket, its right arm was blown to pieces.

Big Black and Erhei, the two Spirit Warrior Level Black Dog Illusion Demons, shot out like lightning. Braving the terrifying shockwave from the explosion, they opened their massive maws, with one biting down on the Demonized Giant Rat King’s throat and the other on its left arm.

Big Black ripped violently, tearing a huge hole in the Demonized Giant Rat King’s throat from which blood began to gush.

Seizing the opportunity, the Dark Elf fired an Arrow that sank deep into the Demonized Giant Rat King’s eyeball.

A notification prompt appeared in Shu Feng’s mind, indicating that he had slain the Demonized Giant Rat King.

Shu Feng let out a long sigh of relief. "Finally took it down!"

Once Shu Feng killed the Demonized Giant Rat King, the other Demonized Giant Rats scattered in all directions, no longer daring to oppose him.

In his base’s resource panel, the amount of Void Demon Energy jumped to a massive 760,000.

A slight smile touched Shu Feng’s lips, and a look of excitement flashed in his eyes. ’760,000 Void Demon Energy is enough to evolve all of my Black Dog Illusion Demons to the Spirit Warrior Level. And those 1.3 units of Demon God’s Power will let me evolve my own strength again! This was a massive haul!’
