Disaster Apocalypse: Farming, Family, and My Hidden Secret Space-Chapter 125. Solve the problem
Chapter 125: 125. Solve the problem
Living people definitely can’t enter, Hua Jinyin once experimented with her father and mother.
But it doesn’t mean that unconscious people can’t enter. In winter, Hua Jinyin once threw a knocked-out rabbit into the space, and to her surprise, it successfully went in.
The rabbit remained in the same state after entering the space, even when Hua Jinyin took it out to the yard, it still wouldn’t wake up, and so it stayed in the space for several days.
A few days later, when Hua Jinyin remembered and took the rabbit out of the space, it woke up soon after, with only a slight change in its size, living well.
Actually, Hua Jinyin always wanted to experiment with a person, but unfortunately couldn’t find a target for the experiment. This time, the target came to her door, just right for her to experiment with and soothe her frightened heart.
"Put them into the space," Hua Chengtian frowned. He understood what it meant, but hadn’t his daughter’s space always only accepted non-living things?
Even if it could, Hua Chengtian wouldn’t agree to such a dangerous act, so he immediately shook his head, saying no.
"Dad, please don’t deny it so quickly, listen to me first."
"I know what you’re worried about, don’t worry, your daughter isn’t stupid, she won’t do anything that could harm herself. I just think I’ve discovered a hidden function of the blessed land space and want to try it out. There’s no loss if it doesn’t work, and no danger if it does. I’ve already experimented with our rabbit. It can enter the space while unconscious and it doesn’t wake up. I just don’t know if an unconscious person can enter?"
"You mean that as long as someone is unconscious, they might be able to enter your blessed land space?" Hua Chengtian found it somewhat unbelievable.
He was momentarily surprised that the space could work this way, but if it was as the child said, then it was worth a try.
He had elderly parents, young children, and such a cute and pretty daughter. He lived a happy life, and unless it was absolutely necessary, Hua Chengtian didn’t want to interact with the authorities.
It is said that people in authority are the most difficult to deal with. They may speak politely, but traps are hidden everywhere. You never know when you’ll be caught, and regardless of whether you’re the victim, you are beaten first upon entering. Beating him is fine, but not his daughter, so if he could avoid it, he would.
Hua Jinyin nodded, "... there’s nothing to lose even if it doesn’t work."
Although Hua Chengtian was still a bit worried, seeing his child’s confident demeanor suddenly gave him confidence too.
Their daughter never spoke of things she was unsure of, so perhaps it was worth trying. If it did not work, there was indeed nothing lost.
"Really, there won’t be any problem?" Concerned for his daughter’s secret, Hua Chengtian had to confirm once again.
"Don’t worry Dad, there will be no problem. Any movement in the space, I’ll be the first to know. There’s nothing to fear if there’s a problem."
She spoke simply, yet there was a hint of coldness. She couldn’t allow her secret to have any potential risks. If necessary, she wouldn’t mind staining her hands with blood, just as she had fought back fiercely when bullied in her youth. Anyone who dared to bully her would receive her retribution. If it wasn’t for knowing that the law prohibited murder, she would have drawn her knife many times but restrained herself at the last moment. Hua Jinyin knew there was a hidden violence within her, kept at bay only by her self-control. Otherwise, she could not have protected her home all by herself and lived increasingly well.
Here, her family was the only exception. If not for every one of them truly caring for her with affection, giving her a sense of belonging and integrating her into this family, Hua Jinyin would not have taken such a big risk to save her father and reveal her space.
The fleeting coldness in her daughter’s eyes startled Hua Chengtian but he quickly understood. His daughter was one of great fortune, having entered another world during her coma along with such an extraordinary blessed land space. No changes would indeed be strange.
This was very good. With such a massive secret with her, if she was still the soft-spoken daughter she used to be, he would truly worry.
Hearing this, Hua Chengtian was truly relieved. Even if an accident happened, the space was his daughter’s, so if she wanted to do something, it must be easy.
He then nodded in agreement with his child’s proposal.
Parents who love their children will always think deeply for them.
With such a loving and concerned father, Hua Jinyin smiled brightly.
Yet her smile slightly faded as she saw her father give each a stick afterward, her mouth twitching.
Indeed, he was her father. Anything that concerned her, he’d eliminate all potential threats at the outset.
Without further hesitation, she tried putting both into the space.
Hua Chengtian watched the vehicle without daring to blink, and witnessed a scene of people suddenly disappearing. Hua Chengtian widened his eyes, his heart pounding.
This was... he succeeded!
Hua Chengtian anxiously looked at his daughter, eyes mixing with surprise and worry, silently questioning her.
Successfully putting them into the space, Hua Jinyin also smiled with gleeful surprise.
The first thought in her mind was that if any unexpected situation occurred in the future, she would now have a way to protect her family.
However... they might need to find a method to make people lose consciousness quickly.
Hua Jinyin almost instantly thought of that handkerchief possibly soaked in Knockout Drug.
It seemed she must indeed store some narcotics in the space.
But she didn’t know if such medicines could be bought at common pharmacies. freewebnσvel.cøm
Seeing her father’s worried expression, Hua Jinyin quickly nodded, "Dad, it worked."
With this, Hua Chengtian also smiled, the tense string in his heart eased.
"What should we do next?" Hua Chengtian no longer cared to think, now they had a plan and he would follow his daughter’s ideas.
"Don’t rush, Dad, drive the ox cart further into the forest first, just in case, I need to try a few more times and also write down these two’s crimes."
Indeed it had to be so, Hua Chengtian agreed without objection, leading Da Huang further into the forest, stopping at a spot without signs of activity.
The following time was spent watching his daughter repeatedly make people appear out of thin air from the space and then put them back in the space.
From such a far distance, Hua Chengtian couldn’t fathom how his daughter did it, but it seemed truly impressive. Watching made his eyes heat up.
From first appearing more than ten yards away to continuing to increase the distance after an hour, Hua Chengtian watched without blinking.
The daughter was persistently practicing, resting for a while and eating a bit when tired before continuing, until late afternoon. In between, the two showed signs of waking and Hua Chengtian, unmoved by their evil deeds, continued using their sinful handkerchief on them to keep them under.
After several hours of repetitive practice, Hua Jinyin became increasingly adept at controlling her telekinesis.
This was her greatest achievement over the winter, her mastery of the space and consciousness control improved greatly.
Every day, she committed time to practice repeatedly in the space, pulling weeds and doing chores with telekinesis, even cooking meals with mental concentration in space.
Practicing unceasingly each day, by the end of the winter, her storage box was nearly filled, and she had steamed multiple sacks of buns and dumplings, enough for her consumption for months based on her appetite.
This was just the practice in space. Outside of it, she didn’t stay idle either, continuing in her room whenever possible, or braving the cold to practice in the backyard when the mood struck.
Without this foundation, she wouldn’t have had the confidence to propose this idea.
