"Mm. I think so?" Marianne whispered with a hand to her chin. "I beat it without its weapons, sure. But all it's doing now is shoot Fire Balls."

"Right, it's a spamming Boss Monster."

However, before even a hit could land on its head, the Swamp Crocodile rolled on its side, trapping the Goblin Chief's leg underneath it! Lacking the strength to break free, the Goblin Chief slammed the Wooden Bat down on the Swamp Crocodile's stomach, which caused the latter to curl its back, increasing the weight against the Goblin Chief's leg, and breaking its ankle!

The Swamp Crocodile leaped out of the black fog, jaws open wide!

The Goblin Chief clenched its teeth and tightened its grip on the Wooden Bat, noticing the Swamp Crocodile's clear mental confusion.

It ran forward while shrieking and, despite its ankle injury, slammed the bat onto the Swamp Crocodile's head!

The Swamp Crocodile, reacting instinctively, took hold of the Goblin Chief's thigh with its jaws.

Before the Swamp Crocodile could roll over and steal the Goblin Chief's leg, and before the Goblin Chief could slam the bat down to deliver the fatal strike,

"No way! No way!"

A small minority cheered as the Black Wolf appeared behind the Goblin Chief. Before the latter could react, the Black Wolf leaped to steal a large portion of the Goblin Chief's neck with its sharp fangs!
