Adrian found Sam hiding in some shabby looking wooden shelter. He looked tired and when he saw Adrain he jumped up and wanted to run but lacked the strength.

He turned around and found Adrain already standing in front of him like a ghost, realising he couldn’t run he sat back down.

" You, what did you do to me?" He recognised Adrian and had a feeling all the changes he was feeling was related to him.

Not only has his appetite grown, he had grown much more violent. Sam had never been a violent person.

Even when others picked on him, he rarely retaliated but in the past week, not only was he fighting back, he would fight at any chance he got, it was as if he couldn’t control his anger.

He looked at the boy standing before him with fear and dread, he remembered what had happened that night and that image still haunted his memories.

Adrain crouched to Sam’s face level and smiled at him, " I’ll explain everything, you need to come with me."

Sam retreated, " I’m not going anywhere with you." He argued.

Adrian’s eyes turned cold, " It wasn’t a question, get up we’re leaving."

Sam frowned but he had a feeling if he continued arguing something he wouldn’t like would happen.

He followed Adrain and they went to a house in the woods, Sam knew about this house, it had been the talk of town lately.

There were rumours that it belonged to a witch and the witch had killed her family. When he told the boy in front of him that, the world seemed to grow cold.

He decided to shut up, Sam didn’t know what had exactly happened but he was very perceptive and could see it was a sensitive topic for this guy.

The house looked like nobody had lived there for a long time, there was a huge dent on the floor like a boulder had fallen there.

He saw a huge print like that of a wolf but that was impossible. That paw would have to be as large as he was.

Adrian dragged a chair and sat facing the door, he had caught two new scents in the house and knew some noisy people had invaded his home.

He could handle a lot of things but these idiots desecrating his house wasn’t one of those things.

Sam sat on the sofa and kept quiet, he had no idea what was happening and figured it would be wise to not do anything.

They sat in silence for nearly an hour until Sam lost his patience, " Dude, just tell me what’s..."

The door opened and his words were caught in his mouth. In came two people, a tall muscular man and a short woman dressed in a short skirt and shirt that did nothing to hide her large chest.

The two people froze, then something inconceivable happened in front of Sam. The tall man reached for his left arm with his right hand.

A tattoo on his left arm lit up and he pulled it out of his skin. The shield tattoo turned into a real pitch black shield.

He stood in front of the woman defensively, the woman seem more relaxed. She raised her glasses and smiled.

" Hello there, you must be Sam." She waved her hand and Sam gulped. This woman was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and the way she was dressed made his blood boil.

The woman turned her head and looked at Adrain, her smile grew wider. " Adrian, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you."

Adrian did not respond, before anybody could react the woman gasped for air and went on her knees.

Her body started shivering like she was cold, Sam almost rushed to her but felt his neck grow cold the moment he tried to stand up.

The tall man did not check on the woman but stood even more vigilantly which confused Sam as he had expected him to help her.

What Sam didn’t know was that Nancy had not been attacked, she had used her ability against Adrain.

However the ability bounced back and what she was experiencing was the rebound of her own analysis ability.

She felt like her head was being split apart and she found it hard to breath but the worst part was the fear in her heart.

When she used analyse on Adrian, all she saw was an endless silver moon that seemed to crush the world itself.

His power was greater than anything she had ever felt, not in terms of level but existence.

For the same reason vampire nobles were a higher form of existence compared to normal humans and even plebeian vampires.

He was an existence she could not even measure. " I do not take kindly to being followed miss agent.

I have no quarrel with the organisation and I would love to keep it that way, take my words as you will but the more your bother me, the less pleasant your lives will be."

Adrain spoke, before anybody could react he was already crouching in front of her, he raised her chin with his finger and looked straight into her eyes.

" If you keep following me, I can’t promise you accidents won’t happen." He threatened in a cold voice.

" AHHHHHH." Bruce roared and swung an axe created from his tattoo ability at Adrain, his entire body was shaking with fear.

Bruce was a seasoned warrior and could feel his blood run cold when standing next to Adrian and so he attacked instinctively to protect Nancy.

The air screamed as the giant axe split it apart. When it was only a few centimetres from Adrian’s neck Nancy felt a wave of pure esper.

It was the purest esper energy she had ever felt and knew Adrain was going to use an ability.

They knew nothing about his abilities, " BE CAREFUL!" She shouted to warn Bruce but it was too late.

As a battle type Sapienta, she could analyse abilities mid battle, even though she couldn’t see through Adrain she was able to see his ability.

It was a telekinesis ability, Adrain was a level 1, normally his abilities would not pose much of a threat to Bruce who was at the peak of level 1.

But the purity of his energy enhanced the effect of his abilities to an absurd level. An invisible force hit Bruce on the stomach.

He shot back like an arrow and went through the wall on the other side. Adrain stood up and walked passed her, " Get the hell out of my house." He whispered as he left.

Sam followed and they left her kneeling there shaking in fear, she realised how terrifying he was.

Adrian went to Meggie’s car which he had left outside of town after almost crashing it on a tree.

" Can you drive?" He asked Sam who looked lost.

" Ye..yeah yeah I can." Sam nodded and Adrian threw the keys to him. They drove off, after driving a few kilometres away from the town he caught a unique scent.

It was faint and disappeared almost immediately after but he was certain it was there.

" Stop the car."
